Absolutely beautiful, I have been learning how to do realistic animals in coloured pencils and have always loved the way pastel looked and turned out , so bought some and treed them out and could not get to grips with them and feeling frustrated, so went back to coloured pencils , now am back and found your Chanel Witch is amazing your a very good teacher , and love your videos , might give them another go with the help of your Chanel, Thankyou 😊
I am new to animal pastels and have struggled to grasp the fur concept with subtle differences. Your fine line fur gives me confidence to try, and the sand paper sharpening tool sounds great. Thank you.
Love your art, your one of the best.I used pastels years ago but now I'm mostly a acrylic artist,as you know pastels are more dedicate to handel ,store and of course to frame. For me acrylics are easy to store ,ect. But I have to say pastels are a beauty all their own in your hands .Keep up the magnificent work you are a pastels art master.
Thank you for the lovely comment Joy, I really appreciate it! Yes pastels can require more work in terms of framing & storing but I love the texture of working with them. I hasn't tried acrylics in many years but I'm dedicating more time for oil paints which are even more confusing!
Excellent tutorial, thank you. I switch between watercolour landscape painting and pastel animals but have never managed to paint a pastel landscape particularly well. Do you think you might ever consider producing pastel landscape tutorials for your Patreon channel? 14:00
Could you draw a hummingbird or do a tutorial on shiny iridescent feathers? I've been searching for a video like that in pastel pencils and can't find one.
Absolutely brilliantly explained and presented!! Thankyou so much!!
Thanks so much for watching!
This was so good it has so motivated me please make more of these videos . Thank you so much!
