I love this interview with Chip Foose. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting him a few years ago, at the Grand National Roadster show. He’s a very nice person and great to talk to and my patience. I was very encouraged. In this interview, he’s very transparent. He answers a lot of questions in helping us in the automotive industry.
It was a great evening. Chip is the most talented designer today and very personable. He spent time talking to event participants, answering questions and asking his own questions like "what are you working on?". I was so glad he brought the P-32 which is one of my favorite hot rods. I lived in Coronado and Imperial Beach when I was a kid, father was on an aircraft carrier, I fell in love with airplanes and my dad drove fast cars so, for me, the p-32 is best of both worlds.
Chips the king of the customizers his creations are totally unique and he has the eye for making cars look right He's the best ever Dave kindig and Troy trepanier are close
Chip Foose is the Best car builder in the World. He puts his heart and soul knowledge inspiration and visions and designs of which are totally priceless. Thank you Chip Foose and to all your expert crew members ♥️👍
Chip what a story and loved watching overhauling.....best show ever. What i love about it is that your crews way of COMMUNICATION WITH one another with respect 🙏 and not using PROFANITY TO GET ATTENTION. chip your are the HUMBLEST PERSON IN THE CAR WORLD .WE LOVE YOU and thanks for talking time to say hi and post for a picture.
I owned a 1952 Pontiac 2 door. It still had the original straight 8. The first car I ever wrenched on with my dad. Been a fan of Chip Foose for many years and always wondered what he would do with that car? Ended up selling the car as a project to get my kids school clothes. Broke my heart to let it go but my kids needed school clothes. Guess it wasn't meant to be!
I along with my friend Junior Garcia met Chip at the Peterson museums Chip is the most kind and humble man you would ever meet We watched his interaction with kids sitting with the kids for over two hours talking cars, the design and building of cars He was only asked to stay for one half hours after his presentations at the Peterson museum
I learned to drive my dads 53 Ford F 100, V8, 4 sp, with side stack exhaust when I was 12... He was a contractor and I would drive the truck around the job site.
I graduated From Syracuse University and studied design and wanted to learn how to render. These industrial designers seriously know how to render light and shadow Chip , light and shadow
Overhaulin' was a great show. I am scandalized by the cost to the people. His is a passion but I am not sure it is worth it without making enough money.

not true there would not of been a foose design because of the building he would of found another place with his talent
Chip Foose designs are so dated
I agree if by dated you mean brilliant.
