I've had a decent 7 year run on TH-cam, hopefully if I get this one wrong all will forgive me. And like I've shown in the batters just keep on improving the design.
TH-cam channel ChainBaker has some really good videos about cold proofed/ferment dough. This video is such a great blend of two things that interest me, plus you - your potter's journal entries are such a joy! English muffins!!! YUM! Never made those before. Beautiful mill!!!
There are so very very many kitchen and baking channels out there how would one decide. Of all the very many out there the only one I subscribed to was exactly that, 'ChainBaker'. I don't recommend you try making a bowl with a funnel but do try the English muffins. If you don't get nooks and crannies it's something Thomas' invented to sell us air. Thanks for kind words for my humble little videos.
Very nice. now you have to get ancient grains. I read an article about gluten and why everyone becoming intolerant of gluten or if it was just a trend. it seem new grain is more elastic and builds up in your system where ancient grains do not. Bur trying to find real ancient grains could pose a problem as i think that it is only grown in some parts of Italy. As for power there is solar so no need for a hand crank mill. Have fun milling your own flour tho cant wait to see what you make with the flour
Questioned if I’d moved into a world beyond most mortals but you sent me back to the books. Both read more like text books and there was a box on the subject ‘gluten isn’t evil’ and processed flower. Was happy to find my near enough Amish store at least had a couple grains but named grains like einkorn keep jumping off the page. There was a very beautiful hand crank at about the same price. I am in over my head but even the 2 failed of 10 were better than whole wheat Wonder-bread.
@@pottersjournal Ah yes wonderbread never goes green never gets hard gotta wonder what is in it, But i miss spoke it should have said heritage grains but all is far more healthery than store bought and hopefully the flour mill bowl will work great
Wow! Impressive
As if there is not enough to learn as potters this will be another lifetime of learning.
Great video my friend
I like these wave style decorations!
I like to rhythm of it too.
I could feel your mind working as you decided where to place the funnel.
Very impressive. especially if it works well.
Cheers...Freddie

And there is a percentage of end of world people who don’t believe in solar.
