Hi Carsten, I really enjoyed your series, i amplify orchestra's myself for a Dutch modern dance company and it's very interesting to see how you approach mic placement, stereo field and depth. I learned a lot and look forward to implement some of the techniques in the video. Did you ever consider working with newer spatial engines like D&B Soundscape?

Cool. How does he route it tho? Using 192 Delays and EQs sounds like a complicated setup to implement. Does he use 24 groups, each sending their signal to their own 8 further groups, which themself send to the 8 outputs?

Hi Joja, thanks for your interest. Yes, each oone of these 24 groups goes with it´s own equalization and delay to each of these 8 outputs. That results in 192 knots with all different eq and delay. It can be done with 2 Yamaha DME64N, one QSys or as I did it at the Zimmer tour with a second Aurus without surface. (Only the DSP)
