Thanks to you I am coming up on 25k. It’s been the most fun I have had on the road .
Chuck is a 🤡 with a garbage attitude. I'd tell him to FrightOff and take my $ elsewhere. Sad to see Rick stuck at a garbage dealership surrounded by clowns
Thanks awesome I will flip 26k tomorrow another museum trip
@@RickCorvetteConti I’ve had some health issues this summer so miles down a bit. I’m still looking into coming to the museum on Oct 14th. Hopefully still some openings.
I enjoy you two, very entertaining older gentleman. Chuck is your classic mechanic, some days you just know not to go near his bay.
Thanks for the update. Just hit 2,800 miles on my 2024. I was not aware of the new 6,500 - 8,500 range.
Rick and Chuck, Tuesday's are the best weekday of the week because of Tech Tuesday!!! Always look forward to them. Thank you both for taking time out of your busy schedules to produce these informative and great videos for all of us in the Corvette community. Awesome!!!
"Gee how about that" said The Father Chuck!! Laughed so hard my sides hurt.
Cold seat tip. AC on high, down on your feet only.
Thanks for the update on the damn DCT.. I have a 23 that I ordered in 22 and received in August of 22. I’ve only got 6250 miles and was worried about getting it to 7000 before the two years were up. Maybe they won’t charge it again before I can get it done!!!’ Thanks guys for keeping us up to date!!!!’
Rick writes his miles off as a business expense. ❤
Not the miles, but I do have many expenses. I write off because I use this car to promote what I do and I love sharing the info experiences with you guys.
@@RickCorvetteContiand we love you for it and the many expenses you incur.
@RickCorvetteConti we are grateful for all you do Rick!! ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
Great tech Tuesday with Rick and Chuck and I'm still puzzle by the two different seat combo upon delivery.
Great to hear about Chevys flexibility with the first service mileage parameters! Not happy to hear that your dealership doesn’t provide full service on the cars in which they sell and that the manufacturer provides specific guidelines for…and the only reason is because ‘it’s a lot of work’ 😡 I feel your pain my friend!
Coefficient of fraction is 1.00 or higher, your public road .55 to .65. 1.0 will eat up tires. I'm LEO advance driving instructor.
Thanks for that sir appreciate feedback
Has the DCT filter size remained the same from 2020-2024?
Yes thanks for watching
OMG TY for answering the Sky Cool gray insert door panel question! My salesman from the top 3 dealer told me it's not in GM workbench to order and left it at that even though I sent him pics! Now I understand why I didn't get it and couldn't get if I wanted to because of constraints at the time of ordering!
@@derrickdunlop3566 you’re welcome it’s the little things sometimes they do not make a note of having the level 2 carbon gives you the small trim change - enjoy your ride and thanks for watching
I asked my dealer technician to leave to upper control arm washer in track position -- for that job, do once pay once. (Like a $250-280 job for UCA washer relocation, took him 1.25 hours or so) Then I can go between track and "enthusiast street" (I could still get partial negative camber like -0.8 or -1.0, and +8 caster, which makes the car more fun) every time I switch from track/summer tires to winter tires for the regular alignment job. (FYI, winter tires do not work with track alignment at all.) Hope you can get it done, you will love the drive even more.
PS Edit: UCA washer and studs can only be torqued down a few times before replacement/solution needed, so it makes more sense to just leave UCA washer flipped in track position.
Thanks, guys. Always fun and informative.
Thanks for all the information.
Yeah...I think having a car that is both street and track is hard to do on a practical basis. Much more fun to have a dedicated car for each type of experience. My friends that track their car go through tires, wheels, suspension parts, and even engines. It's a very expensive hobby, not withstanding remarks by Tadge or Josh or Harlan.
Seats were done as a gag on purpose. smh
You guys are the best🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
Thank you Rick for answering my 3LT interior question. I knew you would be the most knowledgeable Corvette Specialist to ask!😉💜
Glad to see some C4 representation.
Good info, great show! Thanks guys!
Have you ever been to COTA or Road America? I know previously in your career you sold cars in Wisconsin.
Yes road America many times never driven it though I am going to Austin next weekend
Wait a minute...all i can see is RED, and no RED corvette! This is a first.
Yeah head was other places 🤣👊
Look at 21 minutes and 55 seconds to see my red mist….
First change at 500, second change at 2000, then every 3000. Oil change intervals set by the mfg aren’t there for your convenience; they actually affect the CAFE numbers reported to the government. It’s not for you, it’s for them.
Good evening to all! 💙🧜♀️
Great show today!
Guess Chuck isn't doing your track alignment.!! Great Tech Tuesday. Have fun, be safe at the PITT.
Good info update on the DCT! Thanks!
Q: (Father) Chuck mentioned the Auto Trans flush as part of his 5 yr fluid changes (not based on mileage)...I have 2017 A8 21K miles with triple flush done last year as the shudder started to occur. Down the line (say 2028), will a 'regular' auto trans flush do right and I would no longer need another triple flush? Great episode!!!
Can you please explain the difference between the "triple " flush versus a "regular" flush? Do you know the price difference between them?
Ventilated seats can provide some cooling, albeit, using your own perspiration when the air is drawn from around you and evaporates.
Your son can drive well!
@@frankkeel8410 thanks he does do a nice job so looking forward to Pitt Race
Rick going to the NCM probably hits the wallet.. I can't leave till I hit the store LOL
You did track un alignment on my car.
It is nice to get this new info on the DCT filter. It amazes me that people do not have the time to get warranty maintenance completed, but want to get reimbursed for non-dealership work. Keep up the great work on Tech Tuesday.
The guy with the battery problem on the 23 he needs to plug his car in when he's not using it. I went through the same thing. because I don't drive the car, but maybe once or twice a month and. after a while the car would start turn on the radio. and then I turned the car off open. the door. The radio is still playing and waits for 10 minutes until it shuts off again and then. told me it's because my battery's low. I have to plug it in every time. I'm not using it So that's what I do. My new Z06 came with a Corvette charger
👋🏻. That was me. I don’t have a outlet in my garage to put a tender on the car, but I was driving it reguarly and the longest it sat was about 3 weeks and it even started up fine after sitting that long.
Even after putting the charger on the battery, it didn’t hold a charge so no doubt it was a defective battery which I’ve read is somewhat common lately on GM vehicles.
Transmission fluid change “at least every 3 years” is in my 2021 manual. It’s not just the 2024’s.
Rick, I didn't catch if Coughlin will do a partial track alignment. Will you add some negative camber up to the point where you don't have to disassemble the control arms? Or is that too labor intensive or not recommended for some reason?
Great video Ricky! Where do you get the door numbers you are using at driving events?
When is my25 will start order?want see online that new color
@@rivend3452 couple weeks we will do a video when it does
How can they build the zr1when there are a lot and I mean a lot of people did not get there zo6 . And the the price keeps going up every year the people should not be penalized with the price going up because GM can't build them.
And yes I'm on the z06 list
Enjoyed the video! Rick, i heard coughlin doesn’t do track alignment. Thought u should know.
Cheers.
Cbe
I found out
What happened to the Corvettes came out of factory straight to the track
6000 MILES.
Thanks good show.
I'm looking to get rebuilt

Hi everyone! Just left work from saving women's lives!❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
