Oh wow! Cal Stereo, yup, I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area, and Cal Stereo / the commercials are a cool memory, same with Pacific Stereo back in their glory days. I was a youngster back then, but I remember all that very well. Yes indeed, the KR-9600 is a nice big bruiser of an amp with nice sonic characteristics🙂
