  • The good news was that I'd found a nice north-east facing slope to suit the breezing conditions of the day :-)
The bad new was it was -4 plus wind factor :-(...not good for a southern welsh softy like me
It was an interesting session because I couldn't get this plane to land, I don't know whether it my my lack of skill, the slope, or the lift that the slope generated, but even with full flaps it wouldn't sink!
    Great fun :-)

You should set up crow braking (flaps go down and ailerons go up coupled with elevator compensation....kills the laminar airflow over the foil), for much more controlled landings. SpeedsterDen on youtube has a vid of his setup which seems to work great for him slope flying. Have fun.

Thanks for the tips! I haven't set crow braking yet, my radio is capable of setting it up though, will definitely give it a go. Cheers

Sometimes you just have to force it down. Another techniques is to fly across the slope loosing height all the time and turn into wind just prior to landing . Have a look at Soren's video here landing his PK2 th-cam.com/video/hsrV3jN9bP8/w-d-xo.html
