As a Leona support main, i like to play her top from time to time. The thing is 70% of the games the team tilts for the pick and just trolls or blame you for loosing their lanes. Doesn’t matter how good you play, the team looses their mentality from champ select. The other 30% is fun as hell, when the jungle and mid realise that they get free kills as soon as they come up due to the Leona CC.
She is also underrated as F as a duelist.
It also happens to me, but I play Rammus Support lol
I definitely had that problem when I played Leona top. But when my friends play with me, they understand the potential it has when coming for a near free kill.

Same here, except Ive gone full tank Leona top and carried, I was practically unkillable. I haven't tried full damage Leona, Im afraid that while she can delete champs, she is made of glass.
The problem is if she gets a Darius, Voli, Trundle, Olaf, Illaoi or just another very strong top laner will destroy her. He played against a Shyvanna. 😅
Weird how people don't play her on top, but experiment with champs that suck even at their own lane.

Leona is a pretty good support. She isnt played top cause of her passive which is one of the reasons she is a good support. And he never said she was bad
As a former top lane player, that was one of the most insane wave freezes i've ever seen. You probably could've held that forever. I know it's not exciting or flashy, but I was in legitimate awe that whole time.

That's because he's laning against a Silver 3 player. They don't know how to break a freeze.

well there are games where enemy plays well and he gets kill by roaming but what he is mainly trying to do get the build to show us the video if enemy plays like chal then how can u play dumb build

I love that the xerath starts complaining at 28:21 because the taliyah types too much instead of playing, and then the taliyah proceeds to inmediately prove him right by leaving the dragon (risking the chance of shyvana stealing it) and starting to type "no"

First shot was actually a W, the skin made it look very similar.
@@Kayem237nuh uh dude. The W radius is larger, has a different animation including an eye in the middle. After rewatching, I definitely count six ult shots.

@@jarlhenrik to be fair, leona is almost always a support, so i can see them zoning out farming waves and see a leona and automatically assume that is their support.

People really underestimate support heroes with solo exp... Support heroes are built to withstand ADC's + Junglers jumping on them early game... If they get full EXP they become monsters.

Leona has to be one of my favorite champs. She’s my second favorite to watch you play at least (after Tmo of course)
Used to play her a lot on top, only matches I went against that were kinda hard were champions with good sustain in battle, like Darius or Zac... but it was damn sweet taking her against a ranged top.
Rito pls allow Leona to pop her own passive, even on minions if it would be too OP for champions!

This abomination build is also showing up even in wildrift. Shes almost unstoppable just with hearsteel and triforce on early game
i love the solo lane support vids, would u ever consider doing the opposite and doing some of your classic builds as support in bot? particularly tanklyn seems fun but a lot of the junglers would also be interesting like nunu or briar
I got an urgot build for you to try out. Fleet footwork, absorb life, legend bloodline, last stand, second wind, overgrowth, DMG, DMG, scaling health. Items are cull, dorans shield, stridebreaker, Trinity force, attack speed shoes fully upgraded into zephyr, black cleaver, hullbreaker, and warmogs. It's my go-to build for him and you will be zooming.
Oh yeah teleport and flash or ghost to go faster
To be fair to Tali, she absolutely did have Jinks and Trist zoning her out of that Baron (after watching replay).

Honestly I think titanic hydra would be so much better than stridebreaker. You already have enough tools to stay on opponent and the 4 attacks combo that are possible with titanic would make you even more lethal.

In humble opinion a stridebreaker is better. Then a bork for top Lane. One of your primary jobs is to shove Lanes quickly.

That xerath was a good player and also nice which is rare in league. You shouldnt be so harsh on your good team mates. You should have gone off on that acoustic taliyah instead.

So a question to you top Laners. I typically play some (what I think are more bot players) like MF, Vayne, and some odd balls like WW and Lillia. But I know I tend to play aggressive especially MF since I tend to poke with my crit
When the lane freezes I was wondering wouldn’t it have been best to just push the lane to farm and get to the turret faster? This way you might lose some gold but you would have had like two lanes there with you to push and he probably got turret way lower. Especially since she was roaming and ignoring top. Grubs added bonus I could see myself I probably would have gotten turtle or been way closer to destroyed. Or am I looking at this wrong?

I use to play aphelios mid and leona jungle, don't ask me why.

Aphelios scale hard with level & mid lane is best for fast solo xp for
Leona, ganking lanes with her E -ability is easy it go through minion & my laner can take advantage of her passive.
*[and yes that is why I never liked to use her top cause most of the game(early-mid game) without gank your in solo lane and you need your team to use your own passive, your playing with a handicap she can not prok her own kit it feels like a incomplete champion]*
