    Just got myself an 02' Navy blue Z28 (SS clone) and i'm loving the content. Got it as a father son project car and so far these mods seem fairly straight forward. Thank you for the in-depth explanation and content. You just earned yourself a new subscriber. Keep up the good work.

    Thank you so much for this video! My 02 z28 is my dd and my power steering pump has just started making noise. It's only got 62k so I plan on replacing everything because I'm going to have this car for a long time. These videos are so valuable to me as I'm a self, taught TH-cam schooled mechanic!🇺🇸🤘

    What kind of paint are you using when you're cleaning up? You said it was flat black, but I was wondering what paint you used on the trans am engine bay.

    • @TWAMotorsports
      @TWAMotorsports  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No I used duplicolor on the trans am. This is plain old rustoleum. Works well in the fender wells.

    Don’t sell it man you’re in to it for a great price and it will make a great driver that you won’t have to worry so much about!! If you did keep it and were to put headers back on being lowered what would you go with? I’m lowered on Strano springs (not that low) but dont know which headers fit the fbody the best? Have considered the speed engineering anybody tried them? Cheers keep up the great vids man!!

    If you guys are having power streering problems please also change the power streering coolers over time it will mix coolant and power streering together then going to into the motor which is bad on any rubber seal over time

    ey bro i got another question😂. I noticed that those shocks dont have the mounting plates for the springs, in the picture off the ebay site. I also went to different websites looking for the same shocks and they were all the same picture. Then i went and looked around for the mounting plates of the same brand and no luck. The plates you have, were they used from the old shocks you had or did you buy those separately? Is so, which ones were they? Thanks again🤙🏽

    • @TWAMotorsports
      @TWAMotorsports  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. These were used so had all the plates. Reusing yoir old ones is generally what you do.

    What else is wrong with it that makes you think it's too far gone? I hope you don't sell it. If you are ever in the bumper area again and have access to the turn signal housing, I would drill a hole in the lowest point of the housing. Those things tend to fill with water and destroy bulb sockets. All new how I know. Actually I did the same thing to the tail light housings too

    Unbalanced engineering sells oversized tilt column pins.

  • @The72Z28
    @The72Z28 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    YOU installed the ball joint WRONG.
    Those three little bolts are going to break and you might lose control when it does. The ball joint has to be entered from the TOP of the control arm. The weight of the spring and car will then be placed on the thick base of the ball joint not the three little bolts. Just don't want you or anyone else to get hurt installing it like this. And that is not what the seal cover/retainer is for.
    I don't ever correct anyone one THIER videos but this will get someone killed or seriously injured!! Please correct it on your car and in this video
