Great stuff, lovely bike. I was considering a G3 a while ago but ended up with a G80S. Nice to see you out and about on it. Not too many Matchless around usually but saw a couple of bikes on Thursday in Derbyshire, by the Drive Dad's Car museum.
It’s pretty comfortable in the main but I do try to sit up straight with an arched back and avoid carrying a rucksack where possible. Anything up to two hours is OK. For the bumps, I make a real effort to stand up and absorb them with the knees. This isn’t to protect my back but rather to prevent buckling the rear wheel. The previous owner knocked one out of true in a pothole and it shook him up a bit
