why does nobody speak about how astonishing the piano beat in the end is? stoupe the god!
Fav part of the song definitely
Jus' verse has the greatest opening line in all of hip hop. Paz's is up there two. Easily one of the best hip hop songs of all time.
Definitely agree. "I inhale toxins, drunk off blood from dead cops and
the watchman, that kill us in this maze we locked in" Is my all time favorite lyric, hands fucking down. And it ain't even close.
Jus Allah is otherworldly
I love this album. The multiple Wilfred Owen poetry reading samples are such a classy touch from Stoupe. Truly a perfect album.
Had to go back and see if this shit still made all the hair on my body stand up......yep. after all these years they're still one of the best
Stoupe is one of the greatest of all time foreal.
Stoupe doesn’t get the praise he deserves
Anybody know the poem this quote is from?
@@ericpendergrast6597 the poem is called 'greater love'.
Jus Allah's verse is one of the best if not the best bar I've ever heard, so fucking underrated.
fr. hard as fuck opening verse
Yep plus his voice wasn't fried yet
Only truth can sober us
Wild cuz we kno there's no jehovah looking over us.
The end is too short but my soul is fired up just from those couple seconds. That’s genius
That boy vinnie always been nice
Their beats, background songs, and lyrics are still very unique 10 years later. So underrated
This whole album is crazy hard man wtf
Sick beat and jus and vinnie went so hard on it. Fkin masterpiece
Best album
Definitely my favorite Stoupe beat!
'I laugh as I cast the first stone at Christ'. first time I heard that I had goose bumps
Thanks for a solid performance on every song. The kids love it.
Lol toonami?? Hell yeah
1:26 that doom piano entrance 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🔥🔥🔥🔥
pure, unadulterated, murderous shit! JMT is some real shit and this might be their best album.. the lyricism is ridiculous and stoupe proves he can take beats where no one else can
this beat is absolutely and heavenly divine
I love seeing all this love from New listeners. Recognizing a hip hop masterpiece. 🤜🏼
Shits so dope man……been listening to these guys since 2004 when I was 14 and randomly found them on limewire , never looked back. Been I know they go back farther than that (I who have nothing is one of my favorite tracks EVER) but I’ve been trying to spread the gospel for 20 years now so it warms my heart to see newcomers be babtized into the congregation 🙏🤣🤣🤣
@@mookiestewart3776 limewire ahh those were the days 😅
Keep baptizing em brother! 👏🏼
This is my favorite song on this album. Shit goes hard
Still top 10 albums imo nasty as ever 🔥
Jus Allah went hard om this track. One of the best in Hip Hop
Bury his body in Missouri
Just Allah tryna get vengeance from his dead corpses
Still listening in 2019 from South Africa!! One of the hardest song's ever. I've just entered the eye of the storm!!!!
Uno de los mejores samples que he escuchado.
Te quiero...
Te quiero...
ALWAYS ENTER THE EYE OF THE STORM EVERYDAY SINCE I HAD AN ALBUM MASTERPIECES MURDERS
Best rap album made
One of my favorite tracks off this album Stoupe was and is STILL ahead of his time with his sample selections and the way he could flip them so fluidly with fire verses from Jus & Paz it was just the perfect trio aka lighting in a bottle!! I'm thankful we got the albums we got from them in the early days.
straight up, the decalogue is such a bomb ass album between stoupes killer beats and the all the talent. fuck it i'm gonna go put it on now.
@@nueonetwo yessir! So many bangers off that album
this beat is insane.
2019 and beyond!
old vinnies the goat for sure
That sample mad hard.
So few views for such a deep and dope track.
Jus Allah verse was too sickkkk
Jus rekt this whole album
Yeah it's too bad his new album MMA is fucking terrible. Dude fell off so bad.
Chaotix McKay what's his best album(s)?
Allah stay chasing the doe like wild lions....... I swear Allah was the sickest on every track on this album by FAR his best shit ever
Travis Echum you idiot allah is the muslim god, (the one and only god) is what allah means, jus allah chose that name cuz he is saying there is only allah, so dont use the name allah in that term you dipshit
HOLLY SHIT !!! THIS SOUND IS SO POWERFULL !!!
Back when Vinnie Paz's verses weren't phoned in
Enter the eye of the storm
Rappers just battle me for the glory
It gets gory
They shitty like suppositories, that's the end of the story
Bury his body in Missouri
Banish the apparatus of Gladys to crematories
My territory, perimeter of purgatory
Stingy in winches of vicious, malicious inflictions upon your click
Circulatory
Causing head spasms
Rip through your motherfucking temple like Phantasm
Hologram has'em and walks through the holy arches
Left you in the forest with your carcass in the harness
Death is upon us, we slam like Adrian Adonis
Swarm on the warm blood like malicious pirahnas
Islamic Bombers, no contender is parallel
When I'm on paper, devastate'em like 7L
So where I dwell, without question rattles the league
Left you in a vessel with severe battle fatigue
Before you leave I insist you listen to more raps
Before I saw cats, making weapons out of your thorax
[Verse 2:Jus Allah]
I inhale toxins
Drunk off blood from dead cops and
The watchmen, that kill us in this maze we locked in
Side Cobra Clutch, only truth can sober us
Wild cause we know there's no Jehovah watching over us
Only 10 percent that's controlling us
Try to take our souls from us, while they stay patrolling us
Caged in we break barriers, change to new areas
Dodgin' the pigs in chariots out to bury us
Jus Allah don't make threats
Leave your fuckin' necks clipped
Have you speakin' the manual alphabet
Seein' me is def not repeated or done twice
I laugh as I cast the first stones at Christ
Joint in ace bands, you move to Graceland and Satan
Mics spray then, bury flesh in wasteland
Infect you
Inject you with the gunpowder pegs
Indent your forehead with hot lead
Whether in the abode of the dead
Or resting in the Zions
Allah stay chasin' the dough like wild lions
Unchained tearin' your flesh we unfed
Flyin' through, like birds we takin' your daily bread
“I laugh as I cast the first stones at Christ” reminds me a lot of a DOOM line a few years later
“Let he who is without sin cast the first stone,
after you, who’s last? It’s DOOM he’s the worst known”
my nigga
Str8 heat
Only the brothers that hasn't cursed them bra
It's an old saying. Not necessarily a doom reference
Vinnie laid it down and Jus Allah killed it
Still my favorite Stoupe Enemy of Mankind beat. That sample though damn 👌 plus Vinny and Jus Alah crush it. Sick beat 🎶🎧
This, Death March, Blood Runs Cold, and The Deer Hunter. From this album at least... lol
@@teddycoons2976 whole album fire
only truth can sober us!
that is so true
"...Kindness of wooed and wooer Seems shame to their love pure. O Love, your eyes lose lure When I behold eyes blinded in my stead!
Your slender attitude Trembles not exquisite like limbs knife-skewed, Rolling and rolling there Where God seems not to care; Till the fierce love they bear Cramps them in death's extreme decrepitude.
Your voice sings not so soft,- Though even as wind murmuring through raftered loft,- Your dear voice is not dear, Gentle, and evening clear, As theirs whom none now hear, Now earth has stopped their piteous mouths that coughed."
-Excerpt from Greater Love by Wilfred Owen
get goosebumps almost everytime i hear that outro. what a nicely chosen sample by the god stoupe, and i love how that kinda profound and heartful words are dropped after violent and eerie lyrics of vinnie and jus.
Jus Allah was drifting over the fucking beat, true mastery this time
JUS ALLAH DONT MAKE THREATS LEAVE YOU FUCKING NECKS CLEPPED HAVIN YOU SPEAKING THE MANUAL ALPHABET!!! …..fucking 🔥🔥🔥🔥
"Now earth has stopped their piteous mouths that coughed" -Wilfred Owen, WW1 poet who died 1 week before the war ended
Listening to this beat always blows my mind. The original sample is in 3/4 and somehow Stoupe took the bassline, the intro and the vocals and chopped it into 4/4 time. Nowadays this would still be an arduous task but this was done in 1999-2000 where DAWs weren’t as prominent. Early Stoupe will always beat out New Stoupe.
Nice input
Me too!
Yeah, greatest 3/4.
Some young lives ago me with my squad experimented with such a rhythm, and with 5/4)))
Arguably best Jus Allah verse
Icon.
Best hip hop album ever
Je l écoute tout les jours cette musique de matin au soir
flying through like birds we're taking your daily bread!
Still a classic
Gilberto valenzuela " de que te quiero , te quiero ''

@@zoinksrodan7644 ...ok, doesn't take away his talents whatsoever my dawg lol.
@@mysteriousgamer8941 obviously, I think vinnie is one of the best lyricist to live. You said he was white I'm just telling you he is Italian, this song is a fucking banger though
@@zoinksrodan7644 i would say vinnie is in the group of greats my dawg, not quite the goats group but still great and in the top 30.

"Wild cuz we know there's no Jehovah watchin' over us!"

how is stoupe not considered GOAT lol? i'm not even saying top 3 or 5, he's straight GOAT. never seen him in anyone's top 10, this is biggest unfairness i've seen in music.
I'm relieved to hear someone else give the credit that's due. It's challenging as a die hard J.M.T. fan to hear people talk about the best or most decorated producers of all time and never include him.
It's always the obvious or overstated like, Mathematics, DJ Premier (he is in my top 3 tho..), "RZA", "El-P" (also top 3 all time i.m.o. behind Preme and the 'Enemy of Mankind' himself), DJ Mustard, Scott Storch (who actually has undeniably made some of the best beats heard) or Green Lantern, or U-God.
Stoupe has genuinely made t-h-o-u-s-a-n-d-s of immaculate, diverse, other-wordly creative beats and people don't even care to know his name.
Not only is he the very top tier in my opinion as well, he is without a doubt the most underrated entity in hip-hop history.
Maybe one day people will understand the mountains of contributions he's made to the growth and well being of the genre. I can only hope.
@@teddycoons2976 i can't help but wonder how aren't there literal hordes of rappers getting him to produce for them, it's truly beyond my understanding, stoupe is dare me say greatest of all time, i had been considering havoc goat for so long, was highly regarding rza too, but none of them are stoupe level tbh, his beats are closest thing to perfection.
also, i searched for his interview and as it turns out he was working standart job too for a living. i mean i know he is too much of an introvert and doesn't really care for recognition and there's his own nature also factoring in on his underrecognition, but come on, if there's one producer that deserves to live off his beats it's stoupe after all. so sad.
@@teddycoons2976 welcome to being a hip hop fan, or even worse, a genuine music lover. Every song you know to be divine and sacred will be ignored and unheard by practically everyone you meet. What's worse us you'll see right through the unlistenable advertisements and propaganda that everyone is obsessed with.
This beat is fucking nuts
