I agree with your favorites, Hani. I also just want to thank you for continuing to put up new content. I know see people putting up less and less new, some only compilations, and it's understandable given how TH-cam works, so I especially appreciate your continuing to share your lovely designs!!
Thank you! Very helpful. I want to practice your outline system to make the colors look like a rose. It’s clever and immediately tells the eye it’s rose. I really like your designs as a whole (not just this video) because they’re both beautiful and edible. I’m never fond of a cookie that is too beautiful to eat but understand the temptation in cookie-I mean it’s ”cookie art”! There are designs that you and others have created that are beyond beautiful. These Valentine cookies are very functional, for lack of a better term. I find it similar to Tibetan Sand Painting. It’s never meant to be permanent and there’s fun in letting go, going to the next cookie without an attachment. I want them to be tasty. Thanks again! You are extremely helpful as I learn my newest craft.
Absolutely LOVE the first design with all the little roses on the cookie! It looks so delicate and sweet 💕 Thank you for another wonderful inspiration cookie tutorial, Haniela. I can’t wait to make them!
It depends on what consistency you use for flooding. In my experience, 10 second icing is better for flooding, which won’t keep its shaped during piping at all.
Julie Burelle I’m always more worried that the royal icing won’t harden. It depends on the weather and the level of humidity in your house, but from my experience, when I’ve covered them too early (just by putting a piece of parchment paper on top) the royal icing won’t dry and instead sets into the cookie, staying moist for days and by the time the icing dried, the cookies were stale. The faster the royal icing sets, the less time your cookies need to stay out. The icing should work as a seal to keep cookies fresh for at least 24 hours. In my experience though, icing should only take about 12 hours to dry, and the cookies are fine in that time.

Do you use the same icing for your outline and flood? I struggle with consistency lol I’m a beginner
Tiffany Lindsey yes tiff, you can use same icing for your outline and flooding, just make sure its not too much soft.

When your drying cookies, do you cover them with anything? I’m always concerned the cookie will get hard when it’s drying
