I wouldnt use cotton balls to clean the head drum if i were you. I use a piece of paper.

That's cool. Is there a reaswhy? I've been using cotton tips since the 80s and never any problems. But good to know.

@@TheSaleMan73 Quips can break the video heads if any strands get stuck in the head chips and can damage the wiring.

Both of these combos are made by funai which as many people out there hate funai and say they are a piece of junk, i am neutral to them and they are ok but when the vcr eats the tapes on me it is quite frustrating.
