- I recorded all FF6 sound effect and in order to have a accurate list, all sounds would need to identified. So, if you recognize some of them, please write them in the comment with its original name and where you think its played. Also note that some sounds are in two parts and that they can be use with many different abilities. (For example, the first part Cure 1 and Cure 3 are the same)

And 91 is 1000 needles. Oh hey, editing functions. B3 is the sound effect used during the intro, right before Terra/Tina's MagiTek blows up.
idk15/16 is Fenrir. 16 just seems to end a split-second sooner. Ooh, and, A7weirdbeat is used in the scene after Figaro dives the first time, when Terra, Lock, and Edgar are on the chocobo, but before Terra's theme starts up. Sounds weird in the mp3, probably due to some sort of conversion issues, but the rhythm is exact.

a lot of them don''t read properly (gau growl or terra esper cry for instance). By the way, idk 15 and 16 (same?) is Fenrir summon sound.

88 Is an enemy skill. I know it is. From a mechanical enemy but I can't remember what it is.

Some of the sounds simply don't sound right. The monster death sound (2D) has a lot of background hissing that I swear shouldn't be there for example. And don't even get me started on Kefka's laugh.

Thank you but this isn't that helpful lol. So many labeled as "idk" even though they're clear sounds. Idk15 and 16 are both the Phantom esper repeating one after another.
In August 2012 using ZSNES was a bad choice, many sounds are botched especially Terra's scream. There was already cycle accurate emulation with SNES9x and otherwise it simply sounded way better even on 1.51. You're also missing a lot of sound effects and repeating several. I just want El Nino but you don't have it. Still, this is the only place to find the sound effects so I guess it'll have to do for a game I'm building, but I'll have to record most of them myself because of how dated ZSNES sounds and the fact that you're missing some of the most important ones.
I believe the menu sounds aren't there. How to obtain them?

how did you extract the sound effects without the background music. i want to get sound effects from final fantasy mystic quest
+Jeffrey Krieger Its was with a hacked rom. First, you make it so a room have no music, then, you hack it so everytime you step on a particular tile in that room, the sound effect is played.
can it be done with ff Mystic quest? i want to extract the sound effect of an enemy defeated in battle.
Probably, you should ask ppl that have done hack on that game. It should be relatively easy for them to do so.
