I definitely would have loved to been in on that Empires of the Void game as well. I've had it and have yet to play it!

For Inventions , it seems that tabletopia has a solo version available online.

    Hello Jeff
Welcome back from the retreat. This is definitely a surprise video. Glad to see you managed to squeeze some more time to deliver us more content. Looking forward to this video.
By the way. I didn’t mind the longer video. I appreciate all the hard work you put into it, and It was a joy to be able to watch you talking about game with so much emotion and eloquence, I know it’s tough for some people but I work early in the morning and I enjoyed it. Glad I didn’t have to wait that long to watch the whole thing. Thanks so much for the recap/award episode.
    Take Care
    Jon

Thanks, Jon! I've been surprised at how well the longer video has been received!

I played with ya for harvest and I agree that I wasn’t the biggest fan of the game, it seemed too focused on trying to get 1 huge harvest at the end to score all of your points, and was too light for what I look for in worker placement games. Glad you had fun for the rest of the convention though!

Good to see ya, Joe! I do wonder if that's how the designers intended it to be played... Personally I was bummed with the building upgrades - they took up so much space that would have probably been better to save for crops - seemed counterintuitive to build them.

Thanks for the video Jeff! Short question about Rock Hard. How re-playable does it seem to you? From some reviews it seems to it could get "old" after a few plays as there is mostly one route to victory each time. Just my impression though so I just want to get it cleared up.

I have certainly wondered the same; I mean there are different band members to experience, a few different managers, but that's about it. I mean, it's no LESS replayable than most games that come out lately. Also, at $40 bucks, I've gotten my money's worth after 4 plays or so. It's kinduva bummer that Devir never does expansions (and I CANNOT find the Jackie Fox promo anywhere...) I also hope someone will sort out a solo mode before too long.
