Beach House - Live at Bottletree (Full Concert 2008 HD)

Beach House formed in Baltimore during 2005, comprises of Alex Scally on guitar and keyboards, and Victoria Legrand on vocals and organ. The band's song, "Apple Orchard", was featured on a Pitchfork mp3 mixtape in August 2006. In October 2006, their self-titled debut album, Beach House, was released on Carpark Records (it was named the 16th best album of 2006 by Pitchfork). Their second album, Devotion, was released a couple weeks back on February 26th. Using slow-motion rhythms, ghostly vocals and dreamy carnival organs in its attempt to pull together a set of vaporous melodies, the band comes up with a spellbinding collection of songs that in its best moments recalls the hazy wonder of dream-pop predecessors the Velvet Underground and Mazzy Star.

they still occasionally perform it live! i believe on their website (not subpops), during tour time, you can vote for them to perform a specific song and if they see a lot of one, which CAN be from devotion, they might do it! atleast i think idk... but also last year near christmas they did more intimate shows with no drummer where they performed more thank your lucky stars and devotion-like songs due to having to use drum machines, and they might do more this year! so yeah :D fellow devotion lover here lol it'll be okay
