I'm not from Galveston but I love visiting Galveston, it's so beautiful there, especially the historical houses and the strand. And going to the antique stores Too!
Checkout the 61st street fishing pier ( at 61st and seawall blvd.) too. You can have a beer and watch people fish off the pier, with a lot of places to eat nearby.
My favorite thing about Galveston, besides going to the Flagship as a kid and listening to Glen Campbell sing about it, is visiting my daughter and her family, especially my gbabies. 😊 Galveston, oh Galveston ❤ RIP Glen & my dad
Go to La Kings on the Strand and tell the people making you have a Shout Out for Eva and another Shout OUT for Lemon Boy. I used to work at Krogers for fun and Lemon Boy came to my line all the time. He has a name, but I call him Lemon Boy- I did not know his name until Eva told me. I used to work with her. She is his Step-mom. They are all great people
This helps our alot since I'm going there tomorrow.👍
Have fun!! 🔥🔥🔥
👍 thanks

#11 Galveston Naval Museum Located on Pelican Island, the museum features the Stewart, a WWII destroyer and the Cavalla, a WWII submarine.
Galveston is also the most hunted city in USA, you can take a tour of the of the those places...
I used to go to college in Galveston. It was a great place. Well, other than during hurricane season.
Moody gardens is number one
Interesting City 601. Hope all is well

I been to Galveston
Very details
Thank you!
Why didnt Galvestion become the Miami Beach of Texas?
It's Bishop's PALACE, not Bishop's place
dllon
You missed Murdoch's Pier, the many awesome restaurants, the 1900 Storm museum, 63rd Street Pier for awesome fishing... Just to name a few.
Omg, this is SOO poorly done! It's Bishops PALACE, not place...what about the Strand? Moody Gardens? The Seawall? Hurricane of 1900???
It looks overpriced.
It is. Everything is.
Its really not that bad.. other than pleasure pier/ anything Landry owned
No it's not. It's pretty good pricing, but remember, it's a tourist island, so once the tourists are gone the prices of everything goes way down.
Try the Beachcomer Inn, just north of 61st and Seawall.. About $60. a night in November. Great location.
I recommend Houston vacation
