Hello Everyone I am Toma Rahman. I am a Bangladeshi Student in Canada, I am doing MA at the Memorial University of Newfoundland. I work in a Bank and living in Canada since 2019. If you are new here welcome to my channel. I make videos about higher study abroad and personal finance.
In this video I wanted to give you some ideas. Low CGPA is not the end of the world. Being lazy and feeling defeated is what kills most of the dreams. I tried to explain the ways you can create a strong profile with low CGPA. My points include
Paying attention to your percentage
Trying for another country not as competitive as Canada
Paying attention to GRE and Ielts Score
Research and Work Experience
Core Subjects
Last two year GPA
Considering a degree from Bangladesh
As I said earlier only the best of the best, gets a scholarship. there is nothing in between. If your CG is a little lower you have to excel in other branches to create a competitive profile. You need to convince the University that you have what it takes to be a researcher. Then if lucky you will get a scholarship. This is one hell of a ride. Not easy at all. With dedication and hard work only you can secure a scholarship in USA or Canada. not anything else.

Apu, I have recently finished my 4th semester. I'm holding a cgpa just above 3. I want to get above 3.5 in the remaining semesters. However, I can not understand the proper reason of getting low cgpa. Irregularity in studying could be one of the reasons. Would you please make a video sharing some tricks and tips for getting a high cgpa in the university exam? Specially, how to write in the exam paper to get a good score? With some hacks?

It's not bad cgpa scale. AIUB, UIU, IUB, NSU, BRACU, EWU universities cgpa scale measurement is not similar with UGC scale. They have to follow worldwide structure to maintain this. Because most of all their education partners from foreign universities. And maximum students will go foreign for higher education from these universities in Bangladesh. If you see the statistics and average numbers of student based on total students, you will get the statistics. So, for this two reason they have to follow worldwide grading scale instead of Bangladeshi UGC grading scale.
