I think this was probably my favorite game when I was a kid!! I played it over and over again, because sometimes, certain things would be found in different areas, which made it feel like new!
Nostalgia hit me so hard...I played this game so many times as a kid. I'd like to play it again. Also, where does Freddi put everything? She just shoves it into her side...
@@Finnloaf Yes, it is strange since Fred is the boy Scooby Doo name. I never got it but Freddi was the girl and Luther is the boy. They are best school friends. That's why people liked making Freddi and Flounder a loving couple. I never thought of it before but it is a good fan art Google idea. I may make a real music video on them someday.
I specifically remember getting this game at Great Clips after getting my hair cut one day. Pretty sure it was my first computer game. Then, not long after that experience, I got the backyard sports games (baseball, soccer, and football) which were also made by Humongous Entertainment, and are some of my favorite games to date. Ahhh, nostalgia... 😌
It’s sad Humongous Entertainment was closed down in 2006. It’s also sad Shelley Day and Ron Gilbert never really collaborated again after the two of them founded Hulabee entertainment after Day left the Humongous in 2001 only to convicted for fraud in 2005.
wow haven't played/thought about this since I was like 5, 18 now. was watching a doc about coral reef and showed sea urchins and my brain went ding! so I google what's that game with the sea urchins and here I am reliving my first vivid memories absolutely incredible I thank the makers of the game dearly thank you so so much uploader
I remember playing this game when i was only a kid. It's so weird coming back to these games because they have a different feel to them. Maybe I get a little sentimental about these games because they bring me a lot of joy when playing them as a kid. Now being able to return to play them, I suppose that makes the memory more memorable.
How nostalgic watching this game. Don't know how many years it has been the last time I played this but watching it brings me back the good old days. I remembered finishing the game that took me months! Hey I was a kid back then so I didn't have the amount of common sense LOL.
This brings me back to my days as a kid playing this on my grandparents old computer for hours and hours. I loved it so much and replayed so many times!
I just realized something funny: Gil Barker the shark can actually be called a dogfish. Why? Well, while it's true that he's called Barker because he's a carnival barker, if you go by the other definition of barking then that refers to the dog part of dogfish. And Gil of course is a common first name, but it can also refer to gills which is a common feature of fish (including sharks). That covers the fish part of dogfish. And on top of that: dogfish actually happens to be a species of sharks. XD
One interesting thing I've noticed: I don't know how many of you have heard of the movie Help I'm a Fish, but the three main characters end up getting turned into a fish through a magic potion...and the leader of the trio, Fly, looks a lot like the statue of the founder. Maybe not entirely alike (unlike Fly the founder doesn't wear a cap or have hair), but I've still always found it to be a cool coincidence.
Yes. I actually got it at a hair salon. They were passing them out to kids after the stylist were finished.. it was like in 2000 or 2001. Wow time flies
Drunk Not I Am (Ezekiel) Zeke Hamish Beckley: Yeah big orange huge hulking crab Bullies like Claw can do that scare the living freaking daylight out of you!
I remember playing all these games, Pajama Sam and all while I was a kid. So I never understood a single word... in a puzzle game! I barely finished Pajama Sam 3 by clicking everywhere but never this one, it feels odd to understand what they say 15 years after by watching this now xD
I just noticed this: there's a poster of Putt-Putt in Uncle Blenny's jail cell! :D Hold on a sec...does that Mayan/Aztec round carving at the beginning of the temple have the word HUMONGOUS carved around it?
wow use to play this one game all the time, every game you played it would always be a different person who stole the shell, i was so into it felt like a real life detective
Me too! And Putt-Putt Travels Through Time will be arriving on the same day! Here's hoping Pajama Sam and Spy Fox will come soon, as well! (Also, I guess Big Thinkers and Fatty Bear would be nice. But not Buzzy! That flying blue prick knows what he did!)
22:35 I saved this to show my Dad. I grew up playing these and my dad and I jokingly sang/sing this tune to reminisce or just have a moment. Thank you for posting.✨
This game I enjoyed so much, but I unfortunately faced a crisis when I first owned it. Along with a Tonka game, both CD’s were on the floor, but I accidentally pushed some frame that my parents were using, and it fell on both and broke them. Many years later, I got another copy and played it with one of my cousins. Such a memory that was.
I was so young when playing this I literally didn't know what a goal was. I don't remember any of this, just the fish and a conch and educational game. Life is cool.
Im so glad all of these games are on youtube!! When is was younger i played Freddi Fish, Putt Putt, and Pajama Sam all the time!! Sadly they were destroyed with everything else in Hurricane Katrina :( I would love to be able to play them again!!!

It's kinda weird seeing most of these completed in less than an hour. I remember spending a lot more time on them when I was a kid.
me too
Really? I played this so much I could beat it in 5 minutes. I remember using the esc key a LOT to skip the cutscenes
DUDE SAME!! 5 minutes is my record lol
evilemperordude i literally spent 3 weeks on one of these games bruh
I used to replay and replay. I was so little too so I had no idea what the objective or the end goal was haha just tapping things and hoping it’d work
My first computer game. Ahhh the memories. This, Putt Putt, Pajama Sam, and Blue's Clues. Wish I could go back.
i have the games with me
Me too! I got them all from cereal boxes, I miss them all so much ugh
Marissa Adamson i still have them but i wish i could still play them i don't have the right operating system anymore
Chris Koraltan You can buy most of them on Steam nowadays. You could also run a 32-bit version of Windows in a VM and play them there.
Queyh thats kinda the problem i don't have windows anymore my old windows laptop went out on me so i can't really use it anymore
Figuring out these puzzles as a child was intensely satisfying
True
I would spend hours in the jail just making a bunch of criminals and printing them out.
Hey, I don't blame ya. The designs were hilarious and creative and the music in the jail is awesome.
I liked gobbling up the donuts.

My brother and I would always say, "It's a purple SEA urchin!" in the most annoying way possible and annoyed my parents.
I did that but I said oOo look a BoX tOp! (Pajama Sam 3) or BuBbLeS! (Finding Nemo)
I just got hit by the nostalgia

+Ghosty144 wait, Freddi is a girl?!? Mind = blown 😱
Merel Wijma I just found out a few months ago. For all these years I thought she was a guy...

I just love the music in these Freddi Fish games. It's so oceanic and beautiful.
I often use it in my underwater world animations.
This game was the best out of all the Freddi Fish games imo because of the atmosphere, plot, and minigames. Ahh I feel 5 years old again :)

Yes! My mom worked for Great Clips for years and she gave this game to me when they were giving it out to the kids. ❤️
This game is so Nostalgic for me.
I remember playing this game and Pajama Sam. Ah the memories.
I think I blame Freddi Fish for my hoarding problems now, picking up any random thing, thinking i'll have a use for it later haha
I have the same problem and I think I also got it from playing these games. Either that or my 200 plus hours of playing Skyrim.
Freddi is just the Brave Little Toaster's descendant. How a toaster birthed a fish? Don't ask me.
