I honestly don't think the fans being kids should even be a factor, it's not like they tried to cater to only young audiences, infact Blackpink's brand has been more suitable for a teen/young adult audience. Not just that, but plenty of American singers have kid fans and do things like Lisa and Jennie do, some of them even being known for it like Cardi B. If having kid fans needed to ever be mentioned, then tons of idols from around the world and even celebrities unrelated to music need to be brought into the equation. Social media isn’t child friendly and is so disrespectful to think that a celebrity will stay the same and change who they are just for you, or a few people, or a whole community because you guys can’t support them. Everyone is going to change so don’t expect them to still be the same after 20 or so years later. If you can’t support them then don’t be their fans. Instead of trying to put them down you should be trying to lift them up. But no none of you are doing that. I for one fully support Lisa and Jennie with their growth and change. I honestly don't think the fans being kids should even be a factor, it's not like they tried to cater to only young audiences, infact Blackpink's brand has been more suitable for a teen/young adult audience. Not just that, but plenty of American singers have kid fans and do things like Lisa and Jennie do, some of them even being known for it like Cardi B. If having kid fans needed to ever be mentioned, then tons of idols from around the world and even celebrities unrelated to music need to be brought into the equation. i agree with you on that but as someone who has been on a toxic friendship before where roasting me was basically the only joke, sometimes we pretend we're okay because either the "friends" will tell you that it's just a joke and to stop overreacting, or you're scared to tell them because you fear you're overreacting.

We're witnessing the inevitable outcome of K-Pop idols expanding their path and attaining fame in global stage, beyond K-pop and it's fandom. Any feelings of betrayal and abandonment by conservative K-pop fans, are to an extent, justified since they believed that these idols were "raised" by them within conservative mould of K-Pop, before evolving into more western frame. However, conservative K-pop fans have no authority to limit Lisa's and Jennie's venture into new territories. The best they can do, is to focus their attention on K-pop idols who are still adhering to their mould of what K-pop is.
