Love this idea! My husband and I use to own a 40' container that was made into a hydroponic farm, where we grew several varieties of leafy greens for our community, in Canada. It was great to be one of the first container farmers in our area. It would be wonderful if more countries utilized them for hotels, like Japan!
Cargo containers have become a great source for cheap habitation all over the world. They are easyto make and can be transported anywhere, making them into hotels or even houses has been very common since the late days of the 40's. There are several "apartment" blocks made from containers where I live, and there have been many made on Japan for about 50 years. That hotel is unusual however, the containers are still movable, that's new.
I remember this place from another video! still so amazing that hotel rooms are containers! Talk about making use of things! I wish other nations would learn from Japan, and reuse things like this! The foods looked yum as always! Also I have lived in both Urban and countryside here.....both have their different advantages. Like in the urban areas, we have great internet, things are close, but it's noisy (that does not bother me though because I am deaf...) in the countryside, it's peaceful, but we dont get great internet, things are far away and not in walking distance, a car is a must have...so each have their flaws and good things. Thank you for another wonderful and amazing video, please stay safe and wonderful in your travels dear friend.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment! It’s great to hear your perspective on urban and countryside living. I’m glad you enjoyed the video and the food! Stay safe and take care!
I love watching your adventures through Japan! The container hotel looks comfortable and the amusement park looks fun! Thank you for sharing it with us! 🙏❤️
I loved the container hotel so simple and it can be moved if needed, cool. I love these places you find there awesome. I'm the same way I scared of heights but I will ride the ferris-wheel. I live in the countryside, full of trees and hills. The vending machine with ice cream yes please. You should have rode that panda, have some fun.😂😂.Thank you for the video and as always waiting for the next video. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Despite the lack of hot water that place was very nice and inexpensive. I was surprised that was only one vending machine. A pleasant surprise was the laundry facility. The amusement park was very nice. A great view from the ferris wheel.
Hello friend! Another wonderful video. I was wondering, haven’t you stayed at this exact hotel before? I still loved and watched the whole video, but I can’t forget such a unique experience!
The hotel is awesome - I have never seen anything like it although I have seen people build homes from single or multiple shipping containers. The amazing thing is that this hotel could be moved to another site if needed to. As soon as I saw the game machines I knew you would have to try to win a prize!! Great video - thank you.
I love visiting your channel it gives me a break from The hectic and crazy country I live in in America I wish I can go to Japan and just live there forever
There is an airbnb very close by ( you past it on your way to the hotel ; the purple house at 1:52 ) that is bigger, private and less noisy then the R9. Cheaper too ;) I considered the R9 when i got there 2 months ago but chose the airbnb instead :D
Great video. Another stay at container hotel, but this time in different city and different season. To be honest, I like this type of accommodation, compact and have everything you need.
The hotel was so nice except for the lack of hot water in your room. It would be great for people w/ kids because they could make as much noise as they want w/out disturbing neighbors. I love the way Japan has little amusement parks that are permanently there. Here, in the USA, those are very rare. Some towns will have a county fair that has amusement park rides and food but only for a week in the whole year. Thanks for the fun video.
I work at a baseball stadium and they’ve made a lot of the food/drink areas out of metal containers. Idk if just for the aesthetics or if they actually are cheaper. My favorite places are the edge of urban areas as they abut the country. Life long obsession with those areas.
This was awesome. I live in America and I've never seen a container hotel. It was so clean and organized. I had to look up what Tenga is 😳 I'd love to try some authentic Japanese ramen. It looks delicious. Good on you for conquering your fear of heights to ride the ferris wheel. I don't know if I could do that. Thanks again for a wonderful trip ❤ Edit: Forgot to say that I live in a town (not quite city, but not country either), however I prefer the country. Sometimes the noise is bothersome in urban areas. Especially at night. But I would LOVE to explore Tokyo and Hiroshima.
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. The container hotel was definitely unique and very clean. Authentic Japanese ramen is amazing-you’d love it! And conquering my fear of heights was tough, but worth it for the ferris wheel. Thanks again for watching!
This is better than some hotels I’ve stayed in in the UK as some of these over here are suspect but this is clean nicely laid out and has everything you need
Even if he DID make another video of this hotel. Its still new content. Rather than reupload for new viewers Anyway. I rather stay at this hotel than the traditional one. I can step outside and i get fresh air and sun. ❤
Japan is an awesome place with lots of things to do. You'll never feel lonely there because there are so many amazing things to experience. Enjoy yourself and stay safe, my friend. Sending you lots of love. Japan is on my bucket list for sure cheers
@experience_japan I found one I really like. I feel like a lot of places that do ramen here try to make the soup too unique or add strange things to it like cabbage or lots of corn. I prefer a simple pork cutlet ramen with a little nori and sometimes an extra egg!
Thank you for the video. I'm surprised that breakfast was enough for you! I feel like you are able to eat quite a bit of food when you are hungry! 😀 I remember the containers from the last time - this was still good. Until next time, be well and happy! Best wishes from New Hampshire!
Great video! I like looking up where you are on google maps sometimes to see where the locations are. I'd like to visit that amusement part and even stay in that hotel some day. If it's not too much trouble (and possible) a link to the google maps of the main attraction or a couple of spots when you visit a couple places in the description would be nice. But I don't mind finding out for myself.
Nodashi station looks completely different from what I remember. Lots of construction work, it seems. Been in Noda many times, last time in 2015. Sakuragi Jinja is worth a visit.
Japan has the coolest things. I prefer the urban area, but that may change when I retire. The ride you passed on we have that at our local amusement park. I don't ride it either nor the Ferris wheel. Also, afraid of heights.... lol.
Since you have a lot of vending machine experience, do you know how quickly the vending machines will be able to accept the new currency bills being released?
You are well aware that Japan has started introducing new banknotes today.According to the government, about 30% of vending machines already support the new banknotes.
I don't know if you like F1, but it would be great if at some point you go to Mie in hte suzuka circuit and show what the whole experience is like :D, although it will be expensive lol
It's such a neat concept but they could never do something like this in America. Partly because of the difference in building regulations, and partly because people would be trying to hitch those containers up to their trucks and drive off with them if they weren't permanently secured to the ground.
Shit we can never have in America… 😮💨 imagine if this concept of housing was used for apartments in America.. having cheaper rent no roommates…. life can be simple but we complicate it
Can't say I'm a fan. These containers hit a bit too close to the idea of being stuffed in a cage like an animal, no matter how gilded it is on the inside.
That he doesn't tell us, I can live with that, people will recognize the title or the place. But just wait to have original content before uploading agin.
How convenient: a Tenga shop right on the route to a hotel where I would stay alone.

Thank you! Your hydroponic farm sounds amazing. I agree, using containers for hotels is a fantastic idea that more countries should adopt.
...👍🇨🇦
there's no better way to Experience JAPAN than a Tenga store...
Such a simple, well maintained, Hotel!!! And lots of fun just minutes away!!!

Different city
why is japan literally better than every other country at everything ?? :) i luv u japan

Hi from the UK that looks nice and clean and comfortable I'd be happy to spend some time in one of those very cosy, I really enjoyed that 😊
Despite the lack of hot water that place was very nice and inexpensive. I was surprised that was only one vending machine. A pleasant surprise was the laundry facility.

Perfect. Very impressive and affordable. Thank you for this video. I enjoyed it. Have a good stay.

Thanks so much for the video a great way to end the day at 2:15am. Diffently a dream of mine to do a 2 weeks luxury vacation trip to Kyoto Japan
Such a cool concept! I’ve seen where people make tiny homes out of shipping containers!
Also, that Ferris wheel was huge! I’d be afraid too! 😅
Thanks for your comment! Tiny homes made from shipping containers are fascinating. And yes, the Ferris wheel was indeed massive!

1:18 love the advertisement for the zoo
Looks cozy!
Glad you think so! Thanks for watching!
Not too shabby at all! 👍🏼
Thank you for another funny trip🥰
Incredibly, ramen here in the US (Seattle, WA) is roughly $15 without any sides like the rice you'd gotten or gyoza.
Thank you for sharing! That's quite pricey. How's the taste there?

They sound uncomfortable, but they seem surprisingly nice!
Thanks for another great video (;
in canada we have apartment complexes built from containers, container living is very common
Am curious on how plumbing works in containers. Do toilets really flush?
Didn't you come here before in an older video?
I remembered that too!
U weren't being unfaithful and looking at an inferior TH-cam channel by mistake I hope 😊😊
You mean this th-cam.com/video/3j28BzCea50/w-d-xo.html hes not even telling that he got already got in a year ago in his videos
@@coolsunconstruct Wow. Just wow.

A lovely video from the UK Ty.❤
Thanks for another cool video. Only containers here in UK are for storage. Or hiding a body lol.
Thank you 🎉🎉
Getting a deja-vu.
London has Container City which contain a variety of homes created with containers for people to live in long term.
I would so leave my family and move in one of these 😂
Haha, that's quite the commitment! Thanks for watching!
I prefer the countryside. 🏞👍
TIL your name is Tim! What a fun fact!
I love your style 🙏
$45/night. That's not bad and its a nice room too.
So I wondered what Tenga was...
...And now I'm cursing my damn insatiable curiosity...
This concept is used all the time in Oilfield Mancamps
If heat water not working then report to office ask fix it or transfer other room 🤷♂️
I ❤ japan...always...

As long as it has in room bathroom , its good
Lol tenga....i have no idea
Ain't no way they thought we'd believe that. lol
@BrodinYT IKR! He tried to play it off but we all know better.
I don't know if you like F1, but it would be great if at some point you go to Mie in hte suzuka circuit and show what the whole experience is like :D, although it will be expensive lol
First as breakfast pasta bolognese and now beef kalibi grilled rice
Is it just me, or are many of the latest videos a reupload, or a second visit to a certain location?
He has visited the same hotel but the rest of the places he visited are completely new.
@@shannongoodall7218I recognized several older videos over the last few months.
he cant even tell his viewers that its his second time going on there
Do you have to pay for the frozen meals or, are they included in the room fee?
They are included!!
living in container is a common sight now in America
12:44 gimme that plate
Is that onsen tattoo friendly? Or foreign friendly? I would love to visit it ❤
that Tenga shop though 😅
Fun.
First one here whilst watching an older video of yours
Container hotel? I need to see this
Would it count as a national desaster if the soy sauce storage burned down? 😅
💛💛💛
Jack in the donuts, is what my probation officer told me not to do anymore...
That is what the TENGA store is for LuL
It's such a neat concept but they could never do something like this in America. Partly because of the difference in building regulations, and partly because people would be trying to hitch those containers up to their trucks and drive off with them if they weren't permanently secured to the ground.
I googled and found a container hotel in Colorado. And one in Texas. And another in California.
I could live there in this container as long as I could bring my hamster's .
What is gyosa? Mushroom? Dumplings?
Google.
i wonder if someone would drive those containers to the road
Bro you should upload more frequently as it will increase your reach
Bro he has to visit those places, film and edit. Bro.
i wouldnt go to a place thats called jack in the donuts :D
and GODDAAMIT some tenga onani cups! wtf :D you have a good sense of humour! no idea what they are...
did you jack in the donut or the tenga?
He tries to keep this pretty PG-rated I think. I appreciate it actually.
@@Myebayvideoschicago noo? cant believe that he does
I’ve been saying this for years…the us needs container houses for temporary homeless …hear me California?
I have a 55-gallon steel drum you can sleep in for....half the price.
Tenga store is where Id take my rent a gf
Shit we can never have in America… 😮💨 imagine if this concept of housing was used for apartments in America.. having cheaper rent no roommates…. life can be simple but we complicate it
gehen dir langsam die plätze aus? eine ähnliche anlage war ja schon thema... schade ich mag den kanal
Why are there so few cyclists and escooter riders?
Wau so depressing, without trees and green around.
Can't say I'm a fan. These containers hit a bit too close to the idea of being stuffed in a cage like an animal, no matter how gilded it is on the inside.
Can I just point out we lived 4 to a container in Afghanistan. Now its Niche living...lol
Press x to doubt lol i even i know what that tanga shop is.

Geezus! That donut place sounds just awful... Bad name really!!!...😬
Obivously not western friendly. Not for a tourist.
