@@saturn_illus It was the opposite for me. I used Nahida, Kokomi, Nilou, Collei for first half. Furina's banner rained Collei on me so I wanted to try C6 Collei. And as a Eula main I wanted to try Furina with Eula so I used Furina, Eula, Raiden, Baizhu on second half. But yeah, 12-1-1 was annoying, I hit the shield threshold with less than 1/10 health remaining that cost me good 10~15s.
you are absolutely amazing for being able to 36 star this abyss comfortably with only 4 stars. Im over here with primarily 5 stars (some with constellations and BiS) and struggling big time with some chambers barely hitting full stars, thank you a bunch for showcasing F2P friendly team perfect clears. I cant imagine how much of a nightmare this abyss was for them.
@@bibobo32 using pyro/hydro removes their dendro shield (which stops the orb from attacking). or u can use someone who applies hydro to themselves (barb or xq) to remove burning effect.
Without getting granular, Beidou is one of the 4* options of choice for breaking the pyro shields. As much er as you can get and ult on top of the shield so the initial hit connects.
My Fischl and Beidou didn't work for the 12-3 first half, maybe not enough EM, dunno. I couldn't group and kill in time Kairagi/Fatui wave. Sevy's Fischl and Beidou simply annihilate everything, I only managed to do the same with Tartaglia, Venti, Rosaria Diona team.
Heads up for the overseer boss, when it initially goes invisible the two triangle things that appear will always point in the direction it went when they spawn in so you can also track it through that
I think that the most challenging part of this abyss is either having enough AoE or proper grouping for the first half. Other than that, this is probably one of the least "anxiety inducing" abysses we had in a while.
yea the 2nd half dies in like 1 min max if i mess up but the 1st half is so spread but the worse part is its send in waves few at a time (i hate it) and yea they dont want anxiety on their players yet they put something like this LOL
@@Catgatroid with hyperbloom team I can killed this seahorse boss even without need to break their shield, usually took me around 1 minutes or less for this boss, using national team also same just need 60 sec or less

12-3-1 has to be one of the most annoying floors. Stagger and those Kairagis require to be killed simultaneously, with the herald/lector that's stupid tanky. Tried with a mono hydro Furina (Yelan, Barbara, Furina, Kazu), and just barely managed to end it on 08:15, which gave enough time for my Cyno hyperbloom team on the other half (Cyno, Kuki, Nahihi, Xingqiu). Whatever the case, thank you so much Sevy for all the guides and turtorial you've been dishing out throughout every rotation. Maybe the teams are different, but the approach sure came in clutch. As always thank you sevy for this guide it was very helpful. I needed furina for this abyss dam like it's not as hard as 3.7 abyss but it is definitely one of the harder abyss. Floor 12 first half was fine because Furina but my aggrevate team just didn't work so I had to use hyperbloom instead on the second half and man it was messy on chamber 2 and 3. Yelan literally carried me. My Teams Raiden xingqiu furina jean Kuki yelan nahida kokomi
Nilou with her Hydro Aura also really RIPS those Pyro Shields! Similar to Barbara's E Skill's Hydro Aura, but Barbara's a Team Healer so here, if she's Leveled Up, she's worth using. Sadly, my Barbara is stuck at Lvl.60/60 and has been for almost as long as I've played. One of the few Chars out of the 73 I got that I never bothered with.

Just finished this abyss, it was relatively a simple one but always love seeing your tips on more efficient ways to tackle the floors. I used Double Geo Double Hydro 1st half (Zhongli, Furina, Noelle and Xingqiu). Then Unga Bungad my way on the 2nd half with Dehya, Kazuha, Rosaria and Bennett. Keep up the great work xD

the tip about going to the edge of the map for the pyro lectors in 12-3 was so helpful! this was the only part of abyss that gave me trouble since not even kazuha could bring them together

I was struggling to beat them until i watched your video Sevy you saved my life because I felt frustrated the team i used to win the 36 stars was first chamber kokomi, kazuha with sacrificial sword, furina and raiden (er build) for the second chamber nahida, kuki, Xingqiu and al haitham (my al haitham crit was 65/179) besides the mechanical tricks this abbyss was just a aoe damage for the first floor and dps check for the second.
3:04 giving me the flashback to version 2.6 spiral abyss which also had 2 pyro lectors on floor 12, it was my first time 36* abyss and i used the same exact team as you did!

I really hate the fake difficulty imposed by this abyss cycle. The enemies are not innately difficult to deal with, but because they spawn far from each other, it eats up your limited time.
If anyone is struggling with Coppelia, and dont have a arkhe character built, try using Sword of Narzissenkreuz and put it on one of your sword characters
Because of your guides with 4* characters I understood that my 5* are going to beat those nasty monsters a lot easier, I just need to understand the tactic of each floor which you also help with, so I'm reallyy grateful to you for those primos

i have not watched an abyss guide in so long ive progressed far enough and have had a great grasp on the game for a while but man that first floor 11, with all the pyro things that shoot at the monument, i was shocked how fast they drained it, i tried 6 different teams and like i could not get them to stop draining it enough where i could 3 star both levels
sometimes you get so use to just instantly destroying everything in your path that you forget to actually group things or move away, i think this was a good refresher lmaoo

managed to squeeze out 36* with Ayato+Beidou and Alhaitham on the other side. always like to watch your guides before I attempt any new abyss just so it takes some frustration out of deciding what type of teams to use :D and you do it with 4* which is awesome
first half - Neuvillette, Rosaria, Kazuha, Zhongli second half - Furina, Nahida, EM/ER Raiden, Baizhu the second half is funny because all the Archons' skills are doing the job for me. Then just heal and shield with Baizhu

I've been playing Genshin since release and have never completed the Spiral Abyss. I honestly just assumed I would need two teams of characters that each had crazy crit stats and so I never really tried. Furthest I reached was 11-3. I just got Furina and am working on building my Kuki. Seeing your vid showed me I really don't need crazy stats in order to win. I'm definitely gonna give it a shot now

Monohydro furina nilou bloom team Ayaka freeze are great in first half. In second half Raiden national hyperbloom and aggravate teams are good. Well done 👍

I FINALLY 36* SPIRAL ABYSSS after 2 years of trying 😭😭😭 thank you so much Sevy for the guides omg. It took me several attempts with c0 Furina Yelan XQ Kokomi on 1st floor and c0 Neuvillette Kuki Nahida Zhongli. These teams work for Chamber 1 and 2 beautifully but Chamber 3 proves a bit difficult with the Pyro Lectors annoying flame shield so I switch teams Qiqi Furina Zhongli Neuvillette for 12-3-1 and Kuki Yelan XQ Nahida for 12-3-2. Again, several attempts but I made the mistake of attacking Kairagi first. When I switch to aatcking the pyro gunners first, things get waaaay easier since the Kairagi groups up nicely with the gunners. Timing would be 1m30s for first half and the other 1m30 for second. I cut it quite close to the 7m mark but hyperbloom Kuki is the way to go. So happy with this progress and I aim to C6 Neuvillette just so I can have one C6 limited character and hydro pump the abyss away 😂 It's okay if you cannot 36* the abyss right away, it takes time to tweak your team to find the golden spot. Thank you again for the useful tips, esp floor 12 -3-1. I ended up 36 star with Ayaka/kokomi/kazuha/kaeya on first side; neuvillette Hyperbloom (with nahida/raiden/layla) on 2nd side. Tried many times though.
it's nice to see content creators using 4star characters to clear abyss, such a great motivation for players with young accounts like me that it is possible, as of now i cleared abyss 12 but all black stars 😂 well it is given since my characters aint that strong yet
@@framingroofs2155 It's not even that they're c6 that is the problem, it's the artifacts. Newer players will not be able to build anything near this. With 4* characters they often only need a few early keystone constellations, at least the older ones. Newer dps 4* often need c6 to even function. But then again even newer players will have had a chance to pick up some of the strongest 5* characters, they're not forced to use only 4*
Agree with the other commenters, everyone is C6 except Yaoyao. Beidou, Xingqiu, Fischl, and Sucrose are crucial at C6 on these teams. Yaoyao, Barbara, Shinobu are not. So, this is actually not beginner friendly at all, but it is still a great guide for explaining strategy and elements. Just don’t assume that these characters can achieve a full star run without their C6- you may be barely clearing at lower constellations or C0, which is more realistic for beginners.
@@lolasaysyesYes. For those who dont understand. Fischl : C2increase the AoE by 50%. C4 heals her of feild C6 Oz performs coordinated attacks. Sucrose : C1 allows for an extra skill usage C2 increase her during burst C4 reduce her CD skill C6 shes nearly as good as Kazuha Beidou : C1 creates a sheild C2 her burst becomes larger AoE targeting C6 during burst duration reduces opponents electro resistance by 15% Xingqiu : C1 increases the rain sword Nr. C2 decrease hydro resistance by 15% C6 its allows for more extra dmg and energy regeneration. And not everyone have this characters at c6 (my self included) unless u been playing from early stages where they where only a handful of 4*characters compared to nowadays we have 36 4* characters. Over all amazing guide 👍
Could you make a video on how your 4 star characters are built? I’ve been struggling to build my characters and even when I build them according to guides they are still doing bad damage, so if you could that would help a lot
Furina Neuvillette ftw, and raiden national with nahida instead of kazuha worked really well for the other half, another 36 stars but those abyss lectars man, a real pain in the butt to deal with sometimes
11-1 is the hardest of floor 11 for me. I need to change team from Tartaglia vape to Mono Hydro to counter it. Floor 12, if we remove pyro abyss lector. This floor would be easier. I can finished 9 stars with Nilou bloom and Raiden National as always but pyro shield is took too much time.
Thanks to your guide I finally reached the bottom of the abyss. 33 starts Basically just used two teams. First half C2 Neuvillette, Fischl, Kazuha, Kokomi : easy mode 2nd: Raiden Dendro Lumine, Xingqiu Bennet: dmitndidnt go as well I my traveller isn’t that well build my energy took too long so I’ll try and give her Fav sword and try again.
At least it isn’t a restrictive as last Abyss. • Side 1: Avoid Pyro (Multiple Pyro Shields) • Side 2: Avoid Cryo & Anemo (Icewind Suite)… and Dendro is fine, Jadeploom can go down to 55% Res, which is usually fine to beat with strong Dendro teams. Last Abyss: • Side 1: Avoid Electro, but not that bad due to Dendro reactions (Seahorse Shield) • Side 2: Avoid Pyro (3x Pyro Abyss Mage Shields), Cryo & Anemo (Icewind Suite), AND Geo (Robots High Geo Resistance).
my first half is Zhongli, Neuvillett, Kazuha and Fischl, second half is Nahida, Yelan, Xingque and Kuki. Although my Fischl is still level 50, I only use her solely to activate Neuvillett passive and even at level 50, she doing pretty decent damage with golden troupe set..
Those are my 2 go-to teams too. though this time, for last floor, I replaced fischl/Zhongli with Baizhu/Furina so that I could put my zhongli in the hyperbloom team ( to avoid being constantly staggered by Coppelius).
Great tip on the crabs, I didn’t realize you need to go after them specifically. That should make things much easier next time around as I just relied on sheer luck to brute force them
For floor 12 i used neuvillette/furina/kazuha/charlotte first half and alhaitham/nahida/yae/zhongli second half and the same teams on every other floor just swapping sides depending on enemies, breezed through abyss tbh, i did reset once on floor 12-1 cause my Charlotte got wombo combo'd by the pyro lector and dendro eidolons and died. Also as a side note i get a strong feeling neuvillette/furina is going to be joining alhaitham spread/quickbloom as one of my staple abyss teams.

You can run towards the pyro fatui and make them jump backwards into the edge of the circle. The kairagi will just run to you

The second Abyss I was able to 36* (after many, many, many repeats of 12-3-1, so annoying)

This abyss was definitely harder for me to do compared to the last one but at least i still got to 12-3
harder than previous cycle, this time we need to bring hydro character for the 1st half, last abyss we can clear with just any character/elements
The pattern already there early X.0 to X.1 always easier than later patch like X.2 to above patch always getting harder

the tip about going to the edge of the map for the pyro lectors in 12-3 was so helpful! this was the only part of abyss that gave me trouble since not even kazuha could bring them together

I was struggling to beat them until i watched your video Sevy you saved my life because I felt frustrated the team i used to win the 36 stars was
first chamber
kokomi, kazuha with sacrificial sword, furina and raiden (er build)
for the second chamber
nahida, kuki, Xingqiu and al haitham (my al haitham crit was 65/179)
besides the mechanical tricks this abbyss was just a aoe damage for the first floor and dps check for the second.
Very nice, I used mono hydro on 1st half and Rational on 2nd half
Did already clear this abyss but i didnt know about the easy way to group the lectors so thanks for the info will make my next runs easier.

3:04 giving me the flashback to version 2.6 spiral abyss which also had 2 pyro lectors on floor 12, it was my first time 36* abyss and i used the same exact team as you did!

I really hate the fake difficulty imposed by this abyss cycle. The enemies are not innately difficult to deal with, but because they spawn far from each other, it eats up your limited time.

If anyone is struggling with Coppelia, and dont have a arkhe character built, try using Sword of Narzissenkreuz and put it on one of your sword characters

i have not watched an abyss guide in so long ive progressed far enough and have had a great grasp on the game for a while
but man that first floor 11, with all the pyro things that shoot at the monument, i was shocked how fast they drained it, i tried 6 different teams and like i could not get them to stop draining it enough where i could 3 star both levels
sometimes you get so use to just instantly destroying everything in your path that you forget to actually group things or move away, i think this was a good refresher lmaoo

managed to squeeze out 36* with Ayato+Beidou and Alhaitham on the other side. always like to watch your guides before I attempt any new abyss just so it takes some frustration out of deciding what type of teams to use :D and you do it with 4* which is awesome
I think it's also good to have another guide with some 5 stars, like those ones that are highly recommended for beginners
first half - Neuvillette, Rosaria, Kazuha, Zhongli
second half - Furina, Nahida, EM/ER Raiden, Baizhu
the second half is funny because all the Archons' skills are doing the job for me. Then just heal and shield with Baizhu

i'd say the most satisfying thing about spiral abyss is figuring out how to abuse enemy movement and positioning to your advantage
I've been playing Genshin since release and have never completed the Spiral Abyss. I honestly just assumed I would need two teams of characters that each had crazy crit stats and so I never really tried. Furthest I reached was 11-3. I just got Furina and am working on building my Kuki. Seeing your vid showed me I really don't need crazy stats in order to win. I'm definitely gonna give it a shot now
You can 36 star with very average artifacts. Most important things are good teams for the enemy lineups and enough ER to do proper rotations.

Monohydro furina nilou bloom team Ayaka freeze are great in first half. In second half Raiden national hyperbloom and aggravate teams are good. Well done 👍

I FINALLY 36* SPIRAL ABYSSS after 2 years of trying 😭😭😭 thank you so much Sevy for the guides omg.
It took me several attempts with c0 Furina Yelan XQ Kokomi on 1st floor and c0 Neuvillette Kuki Nahida Zhongli.
These teams work for Chamber 1 and 2 beautifully but Chamber 3 proves a bit difficult with the Pyro Lectors annoying flame shield so I switch teams
Qiqi Furina Zhongli Neuvillette for 12-3-1 and Kuki Yelan XQ Nahida for 12-3-2. Again, several attempts but I made the mistake of attacking Kairagi first. When I switch to aatcking the pyro gunners first, things get waaaay easier since the Kairagi groups up nicely with the gunners.
Timing would be 1m30s for first half and the other 1m30 for second. I cut it quite close to the 7m mark but hyperbloom Kuki is the way to go.
So happy with this progress and I aim to C6 Neuvillette just so I can have one C6 limited character and hydro pump the abyss away 😂
It's okay if you cannot 36* the abyss right away, it takes time to tweak your team to find the golden spot. All the best!

Thank you again for the useful tips, esp floor 12 -3-1. I ended up 36 star with Ayaka/kokomi/kazuha/kaeya on first side; neuvillette Hyperbloom (with nahida/raiden/layla) on 2nd side. Tried many times though.
it's nice to see content creators using 4star characters to clear abyss, such a great motivation for players with young accounts like me that it is possible, as of now i cleared abyss 12 but all black stars 😂 well it is given since my characters aint that strong yet
Those 4*characters are all C6. Which makes them equal to a 5*
@@framingroofs2155 It's not even that they're c6 that is the problem, it's the artifacts. Newer players will not be able to build anything near this. With 4* characters they often only need a few early keystone constellations, at least the older ones. Newer dps 4* often need c6 to even function. But then again even newer players will have had a chance to pick up some of the strongest 5* characters, they're not forced to use only 4*

Agree with the other commenters, everyone is C6 except Yaoyao. Beidou, Xingqiu, Fischl, and Sucrose are crucial at C6 on these teams. Yaoyao, Barbara, Shinobu are not. So, this is actually not beginner friendly at all, but it is still a great guide for explaining strategy and elements. Just don’t assume that these characters can achieve a full star run without their C6- you may be barely clearing at lower constellations or C0, which is more realistic for beginners.

C4 heals her of feild
C6 Oz performs coordinated attacks.
Sucrose :
C1 allows for an extra skill usage
C2 increase her during burst
C4 reduce her CD skill
C6 shes nearly as good as Kazuha
Beidou :
C1 creates a sheild
C2 her burst becomes larger AoE targeting
C6 during burst duration reduces opponents electro resistance by 15%
Xingqiu :
C1 increases the rain sword Nr.
C2 decrease hydro resistance by 15%
C6 its allows for more extra dmg and energy regeneration.
And not everyone have this characters at c6 (my self included) unless u been playing from early stages where they where only a handful of 4*characters compared to nowadays we have 36 4* characters.

11-1 is the hardest of floor 11 for me.
I need to change team from Tartaglia vape to Mono Hydro to counter it.
Floor 12, if we remove pyro abyss lector.
This floor would be easier.
I can finished 9 stars with Nilou bloom and Raiden National as always but pyro shield is took too much time.

Thanks to your guide I finally reached the bottom of the abyss. 33 starts Basically just used two teams.
First half C2 Neuvillette, Fischl, Kazuha, Kokomi : easy mode
2nd: Raiden Dendro Lumine, Xingqiu
Bennet: dmitndidnt go as well I my traveller isn’t that well build my energy took too long so I’ll try and give her Fav sword and try again.
At least it isn’t a restrictive as last Abyss.
• Side 1: Avoid Pyro (Multiple Pyro Shields)
• Side 2: Avoid Cryo & Anemo (Icewind Suite)… and Dendro is fine, Jadeploom can go down to 55% Res, which is usually fine to beat with strong Dendro teams.
Last Abyss:
• Side 1: Avoid Electro, but not that bad due to Dendro reactions (Seahorse Shield)
• Side 2: Avoid Pyro (3x Pyro Abyss Mage Shields), Cryo & Anemo (Icewind Suite), AND Geo (Robots High Geo Resistance).
frfr this seems easier than last abyss because the team building last abyss was so hard
my first half is Zhongli, Neuvillett, Kazuha and Fischl, second half is Nahida, Yelan, Xingque and Kuki. Although my Fischl is still level 50, I only use her solely to activate Neuvillett passive and even at level 50, she doing pretty decent damage with golden troupe set..
Those are my 2 go-to teams too. though this time, for last floor, I replaced fischl/Zhongli with Baizhu/Furina so that I could put my zhongli in the hyperbloom team ( to avoid being constantly staggered by Coppelius).

Great tip on the crabs, I didn’t realize you need to go after them specifically. That should make things much easier next time around as I just relied on sheer luck to brute force them

For floor 12 i used neuvillette/furina/kazuha/charlotte first half and alhaitham/nahida/yae/zhongli second half and the same teams on every other floor just swapping sides depending on enemies, breezed through abyss tbh, i did reset once on floor 12-1 cause my Charlotte got wombo combo'd by the pyro lector and dendro eidolons and died.
Also as a side note i get a strong feeling neuvillette/furina is going to be joining alhaitham spread/quickbloom as one of my staple abyss teams.
