Hey Rachel, when we were trying to conceive & it was taking long time, I was told to go check thyroid function. I've made appointment, which was like 6 weeks away, & by the time I went & got tested, I got pregnant 😅 Even though my thyroid was fine, I know a number of people who had to take meds for it, & were able to conceive after treatment. Yes I support this 100% - my husband & I have been trying for over 2 years and we decided to do a simple blood check and turns out I have hypothyroidism which is not a big deal- I just have to take medication every day and my period is back to normal. I’ve been feeling like I might be pregnant (really sore breasts, crying easily, sudden smells, & lower back pain) but we will see. I’ve only been taking my medication for 3 months so I’m just thankful we are on track to get pregnant (or if I am pregnant now)🧡

Hey, Rachel! I got off of birth control in August of 2021. My husband and I weren’t TTC but knew that it would likely happen eventually if we weren’t preventing it. My best friend told me she was pregnant in November and by February I was also pregnant! Unfortunately, I got Covid the week after I tested positive. The pregnancy ended in loss. I won’t state further so I don’t scare people, BUT just know that you are doing your best, you are worthy of motherhood, and God’s timing is best. You, AJ, and your future children are loved!💕

Some advice I've heard that is biologically based (and doctor approved - I work as a nurse and have doctor friends) :
1) if you find in the future you still are not pregnant, check thyroid function. Super important organ that can get over looked and has huge impacts
2) *** this is not implying your weight is an issue, just some information to keep in mind *** make sure you are eating enough calories (along with 100g of protien daily). You eat pretty well, so this is likely not an issue BUT it's good to keep in mind. If you are just barely giving your body enough to sustain on, it won't trust you enough to let you get pregnant. Healthy choices and working out is awesome, but getting pregnant is a time when a little extra calories and *gasp* fat gain is actually very important.
3) After fun time, legs up on wall and sit like that for 5 min. Weird I know! But it allows more boys to have a better chance to the egg. (As a side, a scientist did an experiment when she got her tubes removed, and they found the day after sex, only 2 sperm made it to the tubes. So the more chance you give the better - we ladies are selective lol).
4) I'll see if I can find the study - it was a few years ago, but I read that the more fun a woman has, the better chance for sperm to make it farther. So have fun lol.

My favorite lip product when I don’t want to wear lipstick is Burt’s bees tinted lip balm/chapstick. Lots of moisture, and a little tint of color! Perfect for not wanting to struggle to reapply or worry about eating with a lip product on 😂

I totally resonate with what you were saying about seeing pregnancy content when TTC. I'm currently preggo and it took my hubs and I quite a while to conceive. I got off of BC in early 2021 and didn't get a positive until March of this year. It felt like everyone was pregnant when I wanted to be. I had to stop using social media for quite a while to avoid getting discouraged. You're not alone! Lots of us have either been there or are there right now. Sending all the baby dust your way! ✨✨✨

Hello! Just the quick tip for the lips I’ve always felt like that wanting color but not wearing actual make up and I use Burt’s bees tinted Chapstick and it works pretty good
Laneige Lip Mask is subtle and feels so good on the lips!

Rachel! I recommend getting the Bobbi brown pot rouge for the lips, you can also use it as a cream blush and it’s perfect for adding a bit of life when we pale gals look like outright ghosts. I just put on a little bit of chapstick and dab some lightly on my lips and I love it! It’s lasted me like two years and I use it everyday so it’s a good investment. I do not have kids and am not nearly as knowledgeable about conceiving but I've seen a few mom influencers use those fertility tests to see how "healthy" your eggs are and a whole bunch of other info. hey Rachel, about the lipstick recommendation🙌🏼. I used to be a lipstick collector ( my fav brand was GA), but everything changed after I used ETUDE HOUSE DEAR DARLING TINT (BR404). Even though it is a Drug Store brand with a bit fruit smell, but it is super light and wearable and lasting longer time, and easily removed !!!

Ohhh, please share the shampoo! And let me know if it works. I have this exact issue. I do not have a flaky scalp/dandruff at all - just constantly itchy and little teeny scabs will form that I pick off too. I've tried cutting out SLS ingredient from shampoo, buying expensive shampoo, nothing works. I even tried the dandruff shampoo (even though no dryness/flakes) and still nothing. I wish I lived closer (although my parents live in Stuart, FL, so maybe I'll have to visit your Mom on my next visit to see them - lol!!)

I take the Thorne supplements too! Be mindful that the basic prenatals do not have folic acid in them so I would the Stress B Complex or another supplement for the folic acid. Folic acid is good to have in your body for baby if you’re trying to conceive, at least that’s what I was told. 💖💖💖
Don't worry! You will get prego! I had the Paragaurd IUD for 5 years and i took it out... it took 1 yr and 3 months and then I finally got pregnant..at first I freaked out but it happened ! Sending you lots of baby dust 🌟

We conceived on our third month trying and the first month I could not stop thinking about it, the month it stuck It was in the middle of our move so I did not think about it that much. People kept saying don't think about it but its so much easier said then done lool I really hope this will happen for you!!! Love your vlogs!!

Your vlog is so cute :) I found you from Michelle Reed (she mentioned you in her vlog!). Also, I understand the struggle of TTC. Not sure who your health care provided is, but have you heard of NaPro Technology? I know several families that have conceived (after years of trying, multiple miscarriages, etc) by NaPro doctors. Might be worth looking into.

Those supplements are a great idea!
Also an idea that I’ve heard that has helped people is after you do the deed, lol, wear a period cup. It helps keep the sperm up there longer and doesn’t leak out right away. I know it’s hard waiting so prayers for this journey for you guys!
Can confirm this! There is also the „fertilily“ which is like a period cup but it’s exactly for this purpose! Also the peak on the stripes means that the day AFTER the peak you are ovulating so best do do it on peak day and the days after

Aren't you every afraid if the channel will do well or not because you just move us through your life right? There is no creativity really involved in this industry.
