I would love to hear Kyle do a commentary over this video. What g he was pulling, how much he was struggling and his overall experience. Would be fascinating to hear the pilots first hand account.

Man ever since I was like 3 I'd always hear the F18s fly over and I'd always run outside with my dad and watch them. I'm 19 now and still do it aha I just absolutely love watching them It really puts a smile on my face. Thank you RAAF for everything you do❤

@Peter Gossner ... I worked with Mirages onwards... up until the F16's. I never saw the Sabres flying, nor the Vampires... but have seen them STATIC: The Vampire mounted on a pole outside the RAAF Base POINT COOK, The SABRE in the RAAF Museum, all good to know about... I am 72 now... and the comments were for 1969-1979

I started going to the car racing in Adelaide when I was about 10 with my dad and absolutely fell in love with the jet planes and it was the most excited thing about the whole weekend, I’m 29 now and honestly i love them more know
Seeing the fly overs now make me feel like a that little kid again even if it’s just for 10 minutes
Trust me mate, you will never lose that feeling you get when you see them regardless of how old you are

Thanks for sending one of the FA-18s over, it's very much appreciated. Even if it rattles all the glass in my house during a flyover. It always amazes me the lesson in speed difference between light and sound while watching the display.

We used to get a free show like this when we were building the Northern Expressway, we had great fun and I think they did as well, although we suspected that they were using us as target practice. Best of the lot, one day pilot got directly above us and pulled straight vertical. The noise was EPIC!!! Had to scream to the bloke next to me! And he held it for what must have been 30-45 seconds!
