Paula, I love how the little pleasures in life make you so happy, if only everyone coud be so pleased and happy about these simple things like having a special favourite after being out in the cold...
A thousand thanks to you my dearest Paula and Ian. I love him ringing the bell but when you started caroling with Ian, ringing the bell attracted my cat Shadow to look at my tablet and became fascinated with Ian and touching the screen with his little hand. So I took a chance and bought the same bell from Amazon. When it arrived, i put it on my table. So I rang it and gave Shadow a squeeze up treat. I rang and gave Shadow a taste. Shadow got the idea and rang the bell and finished the squeeze up treat one ring per squeeze. I replayed you singing with Ian and Shadow rang every time Ian rang. Thank you for this and sharing your special favorite. It is my daily treat and now I have a bell ringing cat. Love from your delighted 70 year old fan girl ^•,•^
Paula, you bring such sweetness into my day with your videos. Such a positive and happy soul you are. I love seeing your lovely smile and the silliness you and James get into. Thank you for putting so much time and effort sharing your days with us 💖
You have made a superb job with that blanket, it is stunning! You are clever Paula, turn your hand to anything! There is another week of school here xxxx
Awesome!! I Enjoy Watching Your Podcast!! Good To Hear That You Have A Wonderful Day Today,... Your Blanket Is Turning Out Beautiful,... I Love The Color Of Yarn You Got...♥️😁....
I love my simple life here in Cricklewood. NW London. I have a one bedroom flat, packed with yarn and fabric and I sew and knit all the time. And drink tea, coffee or hot chocolate from nice mugs. I have a very handsome black and white cat called Tom. He came from a local rescue centre. They let me have him as an indoor cat because he tested positive for FIV. Thats similar to HIV but only spreads to cats, not me. For my tea I'm having roasting tray sausages with onion, small potatoes, a yellow pepper, some thyme and tomatoes - good for using things up and very easy to make. I'm happy here, especially if ive got a pair of socks on my needles. I'm about to start the Instant Crush jumper by Joji Locatelli. I'm using soft shades of blue, beige, mauve and almond brown. I made a swatch with fringed edges that mimics in the round knitting. I used bigger needles and it's 0.5cm short of the 10cm. I know my knitting, and I think 5mm needles will be fine. I've no one to give my wrong sizes to so I have to swatch! I'm looking forward to seeing you later Paula. 😘💕💕😻
Hi Paula, we missed you yesterday. You made me laugh with your ‘ello ello ello what we got ere then”, sounded just like PC Plod 😂😂 love your vlogs and i look forward to them every day..don’t know what I’ll do when vlogmass is over, i watch both you and Gayna. Take care, love to Ian, susan in Oz
Hi precious Paula. So happy to see you today. Love the little flowers on your dress, very lovely. Spending the day knitting sounds fun. Thanks for sharing all your awesome projects. Much love always!
Not related to today's vlog but I have been asked by hubby to tell you that yes, people do buy things on your recommendation. Last year I tried to buy the stollen from Morrisons bakery that you said was really good with thick marzipan in it (hubby loves stollen and has tried lots of different ones). My local store didn't have any and wasn't getting any more in. He had to settle for Morrisons best/finest at £7 a loaf which he loved. However, I managed to get 2 loaves of the bakery one this week and he loves it so much he's almost eaten a whole loaf since last night. And it's only £2 a loaf. He says thank you for the recommendation. We wouldn't have known about it if you hadn't bought it. Your cardigan and blanket are looking great. I love your knitting x
Oh Paula your cardigan knitting is wonderful. You are an amazing knitter. I also love your shawl your friend knitted for you. You so deserve a day off but you don’t just sit and do nothing. I just look so forward to listening to your life stories and miss your lovely smiley face when you are not around. James is a very supportive hubby as well. So your life is full. Great.
I am such a fan of your baskets and bags. The furry animals would be a great addition to your shop. You are ever so clever! I’ve never seen any like that.
When I had to have sleeping tablets from the doctor he prescribed me unbranded antihistamine. Now I just take a Piriton if I need to sleep. As a knitter isn’t it lovely to receive a knitted gift. 😊 You can do the cardie! You can! I’m saving my advents this year for my Cosy Stripe blanket as you’ve influenced me. 😊 I’ll get a bag one day!! 😄
Paula your cardigan looks gorgeous I love the colours and the blanket to❤❤, oh I loved the last day at school at Christmas 😊 yes cat bags in the New Year😊 have a rest now ❤ see you tomorrow xx
You do brilliantly Paula and the bags I’ve bought from you have been beautiful, but you do deserve a break. So just enjoy yourself knitting and having cake and hot chocolate with Lizzie! More than once if you like! Xx
Your blanket looks lovely Paula, really like the colours. I'm doing one with that pattern at the moment, for my daughter, and am using the colours from Lucy's summer ripple blanket. Glad the guinea pigs have settled in, so much nicer than being out in the cold. Loving your vlogmas.
I plan to buy one or two of your cute bags in the new year. I was wondering if you could make bird ones as I love birds and have a yellow and green budgie I would love a cute bird bag 😊😊

I fell in love with the original Attic 24 Cosy blanket, so I made it exactly as Lucy said. It's gorgeous and keeps my legs warm.
