Hey guys... just a possible helpful hint. You may have already thought of this.... but just in case.
Super easy to just turn over the rug right inside your front door. Then put your heavy piece of furniture on it. Then you can slide it anywhere in the house with ease. And not scratch the floor. Just in case you hadn't thought of it!!

Cardboard boxes work well too.
Was going to say the same thing…we use rugs and towels to move furniture around the house. I also put any furniture I am painting on a large piece of cardboard and can easily turn it around like it’s on a lazy susan.
Why isn't she a professional decorator, seriously she is so good at that.

These are the videos that I love. I was explaining explaining to my daughter about what I was watching she said, “that’s crazy!” I said “Yes, that is why I love her”!!!💜 A woman with a mission in her soul to create her vision and a man willing to follow her to the ends of the earth (IKEA lol) and back to make it happen!

The final armoire Is beautiful , perfect for a academia looking bedroom. There is a film at Lowe’s I think that looks like stained glass that would be beautiful on the French doors! I used it on a dormer window and it’s so beautiful!

FANTASTIC job. It was so satisfying to see you apply the polish to that tired armoire. I didn't think I'd love the finished room with that big, dark piece of furniture but I surprisingly do! It all comes together perfectly. Wow!

I can't believe you got so much furniture in a small room but it doesn't look crowded. It actually is very beautiful. I don't have your gift. I wish I did. I will admit my husband is definitely not as patient as Mike. We would have had a huge fight.
As someone said in the comments, Meghan could do this professionally as a consultant. The room looks super and Meghan amazes me as she can envision what a piece of furniture will look like when she works her magic. And she (and Mike!) have the patience of Job to make it happen. Oh, and the fish - I would never have thought that would look good anywhere but it looks great where she place it - cool little focal point. Welcome home Elijah! ❤️🇨🇦
A wooden lid with a handle...you can either coat it with paraffin wax or use non toxic paint. To make kraut or pickles, use the paraffin so everything is food safe. Great find.

Beautiful Bedroom! Very “New England/Nantucket” Vibes I’m getting - Perhaps, it’s from all the rich wood hues mixed with the blue drapes/blue charming dresser. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect fit, each furniture piece fits like a glove! I love those beds! 👏🏻❤️👍🥰

I love the armoire! In Europe it's pretty standard to not have built in closets in bedrooms, or maybe only in the master bedroom. So as a kid I've always been used to having a room like this. Our family had 5 kids so we also converted every room in the house into bedrooms, even the tiniest rooms or the attic. Very inspiring how you decorated this room for teenage boys, it looks much more interesting than a modern style room to me!

Possibly one of my favourites of your 'pull together' rooms (though its hard to choose, I also love the 'nook' on the stairs). It looks fantastic, I can definitely see professor Andrew sitting comfortably at his desk lol and can't wait to see what treasures Elijah brings back with him.

It's a good thing you like changing things around so much because in all that shuffling around, I didn't notice where you are going to put Daniel in a few months. These last couple years have gone by fast!
Get a fine mister spray bottle, spray brush and/or piece while working. really helps with brush marks on clay or chalkpaints. Especially if its warm or dry temperatures ...

I never thought I'd see you go to Ikea 😂 but glad to see you found something to fit the room a lot better! Hope you got the big spider out of there okay - that's the one bit about old furniture / moving furniture that always scares me. Love the style and how you managed to get everything to come together so well! Also I noticed Megan's spirit level earrings and thought they're very appropriate with all the DIY projects you get up to!

I just started watching, I wish there was more interaction with the children. There is only so much thrifting and decorating to watch. I was attracted to this sight to see family interaction and it seems that Megan is usually doing her own thing. I would love to see with the kids.
I think they want to protect their children’s privacy. The channel was never about the children, it’s the parents choice
