So much cool stuff (hey there is a pun in there). My fav is the bike we could not see, under the blanket. But second is all of that cooling technology. Wow, the future is here it seems.
You can update your original Form goggles with swim straight. That said…… Owning both, I can say the newer version is far more comfortable, and the inbuilt HRM is much easier to use, and user friendly and no separate charging! As an aside on the Profile design gel bottle side of things, HI-5 have released a water bottle that can also hold gels, for those of us not lucky enough to own a bike with bolts on the top tube.
On the form goggles I suspect the time savings may even come from needing to sight less if you already know youre swimming straight less need to look where youre going
Still baffles me how people can ride those lock in aero bars .. when ever I ride my TT feels like I'm doing it in tornados.. side winds can rarely allow me to make use of them ..
@@levbobrov1398 Actually they are permitted in races. By World Triathlon, British and USA Triathlon, PTO/T100 Triathlon in all half and full distance triathlons. Whether or not that destroys the soul of triathlon is debatable. We asked them. They said everyone uses technological aids, like HRM, power meters, etc on the bike and run, so why not the swim... 🤷♂
@@jamescunnamaGTN Good info. Thanks James. Yes. The soul of triathlon is disappearing. Also. Would you trust them? For 10 strokes. 20. 50? And what about race dynamics. Following feet. The group goes slightly left. You stick to your goggle info. And lose the feet. Double You Tee Eff.
What was your favourite tech find from this video? We want to know! 💬
The goggles :)
That Giant Trinity frame and the Precision gel storage!
Vision wheel
Is the new Factor bike a road or TT?
The precision fuel gel bottle. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!
Tbh, all this tech is sick! If only we were pros 😂 often feel unworthy of such tech haha
Profile Design revealed that bottle a while ago, and although it's taken awhile, it's finally available on their website.
@@darthjohn0 I went looking and found it. 85 dollars plus 10 shipping. A bit excessive but I guess I'm paying for convenience and R&D
MORE!!! MORE TECH!!!
Thanks for the tech tour, always interesting to see what new 🤩
All of you these bikes look amazing & fast 🚀
Great video James, nice to meet you in Kona 🙌🏻
Excellent
Thanks guys
It was great to meet you over by the Form table. Cheers!
Should have done the freehub sound check on that 72 tooth freehub.

The trinity we’ve been waiting for 😍

You have got to take a look at Gustav Idens Bike set-up with the bottles! It`s either crazy fast or crazy stupid!
Kona+= video
The Ultra cool tech technology is the future
I want one of those aprons for my next BBQ…..🍖 🥩🌭🍗🍻
21mm internal width is not considered wide anymore 😂
Why is Magnus not allowed to ride his new Scott Plasma this weekend, have you heard
something?
If there is no aero cost the van rysel vent, why even make a vent cover?
So that bees and bugs don't fly in. I've been stung like that, it wasn't pretty
Those goggles are fantastic, has anyone got a pair that also wear glasses? I need glasses for reading, so would I be able to see the numbers?
Van Rysel helmet, if there is no aero penalty, why do you need the cover?
Use of insane as an adjective

Yikes. Swim straight feature. The soul of triathlon is disappearing. Shame.
These goggles are technically illegal for races. It's for training only.
@@levbobrov1398 Phew. Good to know. Thanks.

@@jamescunnamaGTN Good to know. I thought USA Triathlon prohibited them as a pacing aid, but sounds like I misunderstood.
