Not an 'ummm' nor an 'errrr' throughout an illuminating exegesis, masterfully delivered; a man in a class of his own. Brilliant, simply brilliant. Thank you, Michael.

People have kids. Kids show their parents gratitude and thankfulness through word and deed. That standard came from the Living God.
In short: no. It makes prayer to the Father all the more humbling and edifying.
      God bless.

Perhaps reading the scriptures yourself will give you the answer you may be looking for. That's a much complex question to answer on these TH-cam threads to be honest.

      Rick...
In attempt to avoid overly philosophical obfuscation, this "self-existent" aseity that Reeves is talking about -this "Love" that God is said to be- is-and-has an active semantic. Yet also, the "Son" is described as pre-eminent.. which is before time or place (quantum entanglement "speaks" to this- which is still insufficient). Therefore this is a more apt understanding of being transcendent and immanent simultaneously (simultaneity), such that, these parameters of time & space are in tandem to the pre-eminence for which is absent of them. Consequently they (which are parameters of dimensionality- which we are in) are contingent expressions of interplay or interface of communication ("communion") for which time is reactive. Therefore, this necessitates prayer- for the absence of prayer is itself a demonstration of futility -not the other way around. Prayers that are meaningful originated in heaven as the substrate for-&- of faith… but it not about experiencing in time that which is desired above what demonstrates God's intention because then this would be the opposite of prayer's purpose- and so would be false or ...God lying to provide that which is not of Him and to Him. It's really the inverse of how we commune as contingent beings in this dimensionality, and this is why we have a more difficult time because we interact with contingent existence by the nature of parametric limitation that is part of our domain of existence (ontological makeup). Whatever is prayed for that is not more God focusing is God lying and therefore self-refuting.
From the implication and contextualization of your inquiry, you are not yet involved with God. Hopefully (prayerfully) that will change especially because engagement of communion with God is the prayer of repentance... for without repentance, there is no communication with God. All of the cultural discussion about God and mention of God is utterly nonsensical
      John 9:31
"Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him."
This comment between the man born blind and the Pharisees… is in light of repentance or "metanoia" (change of mind). But this is not something you can simply make up your mind to engage. This is why any studies into prayer have come up meaningless because people who even think this way are self-refuting. It is the opposite of what prayer is and therefore makes the answering of it impossible.
      James 4:2-4
You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask. [3] You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions. [4] You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
Yet in addition to the times of humbling and neediness (which is suffering and question)... Answered prayer is the only availment of meaning with God. And I look back at those amazing occasions and that is definitive of future ones.
I pray that this becomes meaningful to you.
      God bless
