也不想想英国殖民移民过那么多地方，新大陆中的美国，澳大利亚，新西兰就不说了，起初土著就没啥数量也死的快，说说原住民多的地方，非洲阿散蒂、达荷美、索科托、布干达等乱七八糟的很多地方，印度，缅甸，斯里兰卡，马来西亚，法国殖民的柬埔寨，老挝，越南，还有一大推北非西非国家，哪个国家自然资源比不上香港这个面积很小的地方，香港的优势来自哪里，为什么只有香港可以成为东方之珠，金融中心？缅甸越南怎么没成金融中心？
中国大陆清朝以后这段时间不管怎么穷酸，但貌似香港也是因为地缘政治因为香港有英国能从中国赚到钱的价值才能比很多殖民地更富有。瘦死的骆驼比马大，中国再怎么落后只开一个对外窗口，这个窗口就能挣大钱，中国稍微发展一下你们更富，当然那是在改革开放之前，世界变了，没有殖民地了，中国也敢开放不怕民族企业被完虐有底气了，与外界不需要通过香港了，也难怪香港回怀念殖民时期，不是因为那时比现在更富，而是那时完全比大陆更富。现实一点，世界不可能一直维持在中国很弱的时代，中国人一起去变得更好不好吗？香港还貌似一直有优惠政策呢

Hank Wang Almost all videos on the hk issue doesn’t want to show everything that happened, the attacks on the police and vandalizing properties. Those people don’t care about hk, they just want to paint China in a bad light and on TH-cam, they love videos like this while the ones supporting the Chinese got deleted or demonetized. Freedom of speech? Ya right, I only saw hypocrisy.
Tell the fact, not one side of the story. How about showing them the pictures when the protesters bite off the police officers’ fingers, tried doing that in either the US or the UK, then lecture us about freedom and right!
There are many other reports about Hong Kong on the Internet. After reading it, we will find that the video here is not objective.

Ben Hedges had wrongly explained the law to the people in US!!! He said : where they can send people to China to go to court in China. But the fact is that, Hong Kong can send people to foreign who had broken the law of the foreign countries who they escape to Hong Kong . Not only CHINA, but also the other FOREIGN COUNTRIES.

Moreover, the recent reports have revealed that the policemen just dressed them up as the protesters and did something disgusting illegal things, then framed the cases against the protesters. In no circumstances, I think the CCP government shouldn’t adapt like violent-oriented means to deal the problems; the entire means were no so much alleviate the tense atmosphere as posed a vicious circle to the public.

If you search into the actual and FULLY unedited video clip, you will see that the elder guy from China snack off the protester's poster ... That's why the protester stood near the elder but never hit the old dude. News in China had edited out the part where the old guy smack the poster off the ground.
Shame Chinese citizens can only watch HALF of a NBA game while HK like the rest of the world can watch a Full NBA game. While I even have Cheer-leading and artist performance that only live spectator have, in USA they show commercials instead!

I don't understand why everybody is being moved by themselves, but no body care about these articles of law which is the cause of the event. I read them carefully, and I don't think there is anything wrong. They are well-concrolled. No body is gonna be caught because of religion, politics and economy. The person who decide if you can be sent is HongKong's judge. That means you can keep doing smuggling，money laundering and abusiving the government which really makes you happy. If you can't trust the judge and the governing party which you vote for，will the laws matter?This is ridiculous. People can easily find something is wrong by just think for a while. However, they prefer to listen to the media with bias. Yes, Chinese politicians are false，just like other politicians from all over the world. @@kramon4607 Your are making a logical argument, and so I would like to reply. Thank you. But to be honest, your so called "million" people does not make much sense. Hongkong has a long history of street protesting many things. Some people even survive (make money) on protesting the mainland goverment, some innocent people are very easy to be mislead, and some protesters are just mobs. So, the component of this million people is quite questionable. As for the challenge of Hongkong's independence, at least this extradition agreement is not. As I said, political and religious criminals are explicitly excluded and your so called "step by step" argument is more of an unnwarranted charges that can be imposed on any goverment policy. Even in the future, your concern happens, Hongkong can protest seriously and that will be more reasonable. As for lsitening to Hongkong, I do have many Hongkong colleagues in U.S. with independent thinking and they do not like this protest. Even some "ABC" friends are not supportive on this protest. The reason the voice of protester sounds louder is becasue: 1. the extradition agreement supporter in Hongkong do not have much time to speak publicly because they are working and have their own thoughts; 2. the protesters usually kidnap people's opinion and will attack the people not agree with them; 3.some western media like this video are trying to mislead the public to realise their political purpose. rekinyz 还有2008年的三聚氰胺毒奶粉事件，其中的一位受害者家长郭利两岁的女儿食用的“美国施恩”婴幼儿奶粉被验出含有三聚氰胺，其后医院证实她的肾功能受损。郭利手执剩下的奶粉为证，向奶粉厂商雅士利集团追讨责任。在与雅士利集团多番交涉后，对方主动向他提出300万元人民币的赔偿。然而，他还未收到有关款项，对方却声称受勒索，欲以敲诈勒索罪控告郭利。2010年，郭利敲诈勒索罪成，被判五年有期徒刑，并被送到广东省揭阳监狱服刑。服刑期间，他经常被其他囚犯殴打，郭利怀疑这和他一直拒绝认罪有关。最严重的一次，发生于审讯期间的潮安县看守所内。那时是深夜一、二时，看守所内大部分公安已休息。突然，郭利感觉到监室中有几道身影走近他的床位，猛然用被子蒙住他殴打。郭利急忙按下床边的报警器，但值班室没派人来。在挣扎过程中，他隐隐通过天窗瞥见副所长正探头观看。郭利表示曾有其他囚犯，甚至狱中的长官警告他说：“郭利你差不多就行了，你看你有什么条件？我可以帮你跟厂家去谈，只要你认罪就可以了，签字就行了。”这些暴力待遇导致郭利永久伤残，包括脑部受伤、智力受损，现时走路亦需要用上拐杖，也再没能力从事以前讲求反应的传译工作。而且郭利在狱中不但吃不饱，还不时被克扣粮食。2014年，郭利刑满出狱，他四出奔波，两年后终于获得了翻案的机会。直到2017年4月7日，法院终于撤销郭利控罪，改判郭利无罪。坐了五年的牢，身体造成了很多永久性伤害，就算最后改判无罪又怎样，事件历经差不多10年，他也失去了很多和女儿相处的时光。

太多人不知道什么叫政府，什么叫国家。国家是你我脚下的这片土地，它已经有了几千年。政府只是管理这片土地的那个组织，它根本就不是国家。 清政府灭亡了，但是这个国家还在；北洋政府灭亡了，但是这个国家还在。我很爱国，但是我不会爱清政府和北洋政府。这么浅显的道理，为什么那么多人不懂呢？
他手握枪炮，你拿个菜刀就算凶器； 他左拥右抱，你嫖个妓女就算流氓； 他钞票成吨，你摆个摊位就算违法； 他豪宅无数，你搭个窝棚还要被强拆……我就不明白，他一个当仆人的，怎么这么牛逼？！

七十年代中学毕业后，国人脑袋都装满了如下内容：李鸿章丧权辱国，义和团保家卫国，蒋介石只会摘桃子，地主个个是周扒皮，旧社会暗无天日。有人评价这种人就是一个中国傻逼的标准配置。你要是跟他说：你特么多看几本书，动点脑子再说话。他立马眼珠一翻：你也是汉奸！
祖国，政府，党派是三个概念。 1，祖国是为民众而存在的。,2，政府，是暂时获得管理权的物业公司，是为人民服务的。政府不是用来爱的，是被人们使用，监督和选举的。 ,3，党派，只是党员的组织，和非党人士没有任何关系。 爱国，毫无疑问。爱国就是爱自己，爱自己更是爱国。
不要说政治和你无关，除非你打算像猪一样的活着，否则政治会随时来找你的麻烦；不要说民主不能当饭吃，没有约束的权力随时会让你没有饭吃；不要说他人的苦难和你无关，这种苦难随时会降临到你身上！
一个社会有三大底线行业：1、教育，2、医疗，3、法律。无论社会多么不堪，只要教育优秀公平，底层就会有上升希望；只要医疗不黑暗堕落，生命就会得到起码的尊重；只要法律秉持正义，社会不良现象就能被压缩到最小……如果三大底线全部洞穿！这个社会就是地狱！
一个国家奴才多不多，只要看媒体对领导赞美有多少就知道了。一个国家奴隶多不多，只要看民众遇到不公正有多少人沉默就知道了。一个国家自由不自由，只要看有多少敏感词就知道了。一个国家有没有尊严，只要看人们怎么样对待弱者就知道了。一个国家有没有未来，只要看孩子读什么书就知道了。
小人都想扮成君子，可见君子是受人尊重的；荡妇也想装成淑女，可见淑女是受人喜爱的；懦夫也想有勇士的行为，可见勇士是受人尊崇的；连专制的朝鲜都想炫耀自己是民主，可见民主一定是个好东西。
中国的教育不是启迪人思考，而是规定“你必须这么想”。不是教人如何分析问题，而是规定“这就是答案”。这种教育的结果，是让人缺乏独立思考，容易思想统一，从而便于驾驭，但却聚天下英才而毁之。无良学者到处都有，但数量如此之众，就是制度问题。资中筠先生说得好：中国教育不改变，人种会退化。一个国家的钱不用在教育上将来必定会用在监狱上。

这样的民族从根本上来说是没有进步的，也永远脱离不了奴役的思想，这世界上凡是进步的国家和民族，必定伴随着民众的觉醒和思想的先进，也惟有一个个人的思想的进步才能造就先进的制度和国家。我并不是五毛口中的美分和轮子汉奸，我一个小小的墙内草民没有啥能量去搞分裂更没资格去卖国所以别太抬举我了。我生在这片土地、生在这个时代，老人们说你是没经历过吃不上饭的年代没经历过文革对比过去你看看祖国现在的强大和改变你太不知足啦，表面看老一辈人民是被整怕了穷怕了饿怕了，能吃饱饭就是他们最大的向往和追求对于精神层次的追求基本是0什么自由民主什么司法独立公正，吃饱肚子厄运只要不降临到自己头上就行。这可以理解为时代造就了他们的意识形态和思想。党的意志大于一切嘛。但是对于我们现一代的人来说，从小也被灌输着同样的思想和教育，可我们并没有切身经历过那些残酷的时代。所以意识形态和价值观还是有所不同、对于好与坏真与假我们会有常识判断力对于违反道德与逻辑的事会抱有疑问，有追求真相的心，而不是无脑的盲从，在国内我看到太多太多匪夷所思的事情发生，当一次一次刷新着我的认知颠覆着我的三观，我会陷入迷茫的思考。是我太较真了吗？ 我不是当权者，所以我只会站在我自己、一个草民的角度去思考，五毛粉红们总搬一些大道理来给我扣帽子，来给当权者的错误和罪行开脱，诸如管理一个14亿人口的大国如何如何换那个政党有这个魄力和能力，为了国家稳定人民作出点牺牲怎么啦，管理这么大一个国家容易吗？贪点钱养几个情妇享受特权咋啦不应该吗，美国民主不照样腐败还有枪击事件，你不愿意呆滚啊、你要是当权者不见得你比他们好到哪去。你穷是你不努力，你没上进心你自甘堕落，你就是见不得别人比你好，你的脑子有问题心理太阴暗，国家要是乱了会被国外势力奴役到时候你活的猪狗不如等等。这些言语有温和的诱导、有危言的恐吓、有肮脏侮辱、看似说的头头是道但是每句话都经不起逻辑的推敲。

政府不等於國家，但政府往往會綁架國家和人民。
凡是說問心無愧不怕有人說嘴，共產黨就是害怕被對任何國家政權比較，所以封鎖人民比較的機會，也就是越來越難攀的防火牆。中國從來都不講法治，而是人治，只要位高權重的官犯任何明文法條都不會被依法送辦；只要有一點嫌疑的追求自由之人就會被定罪，哪怕沒被定罪被"審問"的時間都遠遠超過法律所允許的。我不反對絕對的制度，而是反對絕對的權力。絕對的制度就是不會針對任何一個人，天子犯法與庶民同罪，哪怕污了一毛錢都會被定重罪，而不是無限上綱的權力，導致某些人不論什麼樣犯的罪刑都是"清白"的。

this protest brings forward information that was unknown to all, that law in HK actually was such. once revealed, Chinese national pride would not tolerate such laws and its british judges of colonial era still in place. the protest would surely hurt "freedom" or "democracy" in HK since independence is not possible, and the truths were exposed. Neither way would work, its all doomed for HK. this must be the side effect the protestor would never have thought of.
@@simonchong1561 I understand you want ccp to fail at this moment. but let's be realistic here. the 97 agreement was drafted in 1980s, at the time when china was weaker and eager to please the west, they almost swallowed all pride and humiliation and did nothing to de-colonize HK. is it possible now when it's achieved #2 economy, #1 US debt creditor, #1 UN donor, #1 military growth, etc? it would be wise to keep the preferential status of HK quietly rather than flipping the banquet table.

李浩宇 I mean at this point, it’s not going to be hard for China to add on penalties/jail time to a person’s charge if they really want to bring anyone back to China, and once the person is in China there’s no coming back, unless the government willing release the individual.
