In this video we take a look at how to adjust timing in Fusion. This Basics tutorial will take you through the steps on the best way to get you effects timed just right on your next project.
Starting in the Edit page, we walk through how to time and size an effect over some footage, then with the majority of the work done, we move over to the Fusion page and adjust the timing there to make sure it's spot-on.

Thank you so so much for this video you saved the day!!! I actually learned the most from the part you said that working with time is in the keyframes panel, until now i was manually keying the blend mode like a looser, when i was working with time
I looked all over for this info and finally you had me covered; was having a problem needing multiple ripple effects happen in pretty close proximity to each other, and CTRL+B cutting on the edit page was cancelling out each ripple at the beginning of the new one. Thank you!

I subscribed purely b/c of the "FACT" that you - are - Ryan Reynolds and had me laughing right off the jump.
also if you ever watch Corridor Crew you know that the muzzle flashes do not follow the gun. So if your going for realism don't track the muzzle flash on to the gun.
Cmon man, don't throw away criticisms this early, if you want make your own video, man. at least let the dust settle first.

Well Explained, Casey! My problem is on M1 Max, Davinci 17, every time I create a fusion composition, using planar tracker afterwards, my system freezes, once I'm pressing track button. So I do it right from the clip on EDIT page. That's why your video is just spot on👍🏻

Anyone know if you can retime clips in fusion as well? I do not feel like compounding clips and retiming them on the edit page. I am working in 3d space right now so just having everything started in there is easier and then I can control the speed without having to go into nested clips etc on the edit page.
What if you want to add new media to the fusion keyframe?
