I posted a rather negative comment here about Zhu Yi's skill level some time ago but have since deleted it. Despite the whole debacle of her choosing to represent China and then crumbling under pressure, I don't think anyone deserves the sort of internet scolding that went on, headlines of her being a traitor and an embarrassment, etc, seriously wtf is wrong with people these days. I will say this though -- Zhu Yi was definitely in over her head with the competition. Definitely wasn't a medal contender heading into the Olympics. But nothing is wrong with that. We all interview for jobs that we barely qualified for on paper. We all make embarrassing mistakes sometimes doing things for the first time in unfamiliar environments. But at the end of the day, she trained many years to come this far, she competed on the global stage, and she gave it her best. How many TH-cam comment trolls can say the same? So congrats to this beautiful young lady, she really did well at the Olympics and I hope she will rise above all the negativity and continue to follow her passions.

If she is just anyone else failed her performance in a competition no one is going to criticize her as harsh I believe. But when u use ur connection to get ahead of something and u didn't live up to expectation which by watching her performance she is pretty mediocre compare to Olympic levels. She ain't going to pull that off anyways .

如果朱有谷的实力的一半或者四分之一，引进还说得过去。如果朱跟陈半斤八两，别说上领奖台，估计连进前十都成问题（最后结果是团体项目比赛两次摔两次，个人项目３０人里面排名２７）。在这种情况下，根本没有必要引进朱，直接让陈上不行吗？好歹也是支持一下本土的运动员，不是吗？
