I’m old enough to have seen the first one in theaters. The audience was electric. Such a great time. And I was in school in Miami 🙌🏾 when they filmed 2 Fast 2 Furious. Its director, John Singleton, even came to campus to speak. Good times.
Saw the first one in theatres when it dropped back in 2001, still the best. Cars in Tokyo Drift were pretty sick, especially the Veilside RX7. From there it just gets a little outlandish, but does start reminding me of similarly outlandish 80s action movies, and that's ok!
Opening night for Tokyo Drift in Houston, Texas is still the best car meet I’ve ever been to. That parking lot actually looked like a scene in the movie.
Fast 7 was my favorite in the saga. Paul Walker's death was handled with such loving reverence, and so easily could have come off as cheesy and exploitative. Fast 5 was my second favorite. I remain a fan of the series, even though they jumped the shark by going to space.
I have been a fan since the first movie and seeing it when I was a teenager in cinemas in 2001 and even since the death of Paul walker it has been hard to say what happened since fast 7 and beyond but became weirder
I think Fast and Furious 4 is severely underrated un this franchise. Especially considering how outlandish the franchise goes, this really is the last of the more grounded movies.
The 1st like most movies is definitely my favorite, with Tokyo Drift coming next "mostly because I actually owned Better Luck Tomorrow" so I knew Hans back story and was able to drown out Lil Bow Wow lol After the fourth though yeah they lost that grounded "family" aspect things just got alil too cray cray but the 7th was a great tribute to Paul Walker R.I.P.
I think your favorite car is the Mercedes SLS AMG showing up in the background. My favorite movies are the same 4 this video is about, but the cars from the first two movies are fantastic.
@3:57 im sorry VIN DIESEL is the glue to these movies? You better watch your mouth boy. Paul Walker was the heart and soul of this franchise until his untimely passing. Vin was just a vulture who swooped in and made it about him since his Riddick, Last Witch Hunter, & XxX franchises didnt take off like he hoped.
You're right, Number 1 is the best, and it has the coolest cars. As a hot Wheels collector i can tell you that they are the most collectable. Jesse's Jetta, Dom RX'7, Brian's Eclipse all of them bring $50-100 each if you can go around early enough and often enough to find them retail. There is a wal mart set out right now that has a new variation of the Jetta, RX7, and the Eclipse that's selling like hot cakes.
The "OG" first "The Fast and Furious", "2 Fast 2 Furious",and "Tokyo Drift" are my favorites! The franchise went weird after that, and I really lost interest. #4 was "acceptable" though... Why did we never get to see Shawn (from Tokyo Drift) later in the franchise?
You COULD say #4 is a direct sequel to #1 and that 2&3 are best saved for 2nds. You COULD say that. What's fact is #4 was almost "straight to DVD", instead was highest grossing April opening ever.
I really liked the first movie. After that it became too ridiculous to support. I watched Fast & Furious (4) (2009) out of curiosity and was disappointed. After that it became apparent that they were off the path and just kept recycling the same old BS with over the top stunts and I stopped watching or caring about the franchise. I can’t believe they’ve made ten of these movies now.
Tokyo drift kind of turned me off through it's soundtrack amongst other things when it originally released. But it grew on me and now i honestly think it is a mostly fantastic movie. The 4th one is a bit of a mixed bag for me.. there are some absolutely fantastic moments but at times it also gets a little.. too forced i think ? The first movie will be my unbeat champion of the franchise , and the second one a close second, despite the tonal differences. From there on out I'm not gonna have too much praise... I feel they ruined it from there..
I think for better or worse all of these are essential. But saying that out of these 4 the 4th is my least favourite. I’ve seen it in cinema twice and multiple times at home but it’s just feels a bit weird and I can’t put my finger on it. 2F2F used to be my favourite but after rewatching it recently, it just did not hold up as good as I thought it will. It still is a fun movie tho
As far as im concerned its the fast amd furious trilogy. Should have ended after the third one, but REALLY should have ended once Paul died. This was his franchise and then Vin swooped in and made it his. Despicable.. the first movie is perfect though. The second is just dumb fun. The third one is like Halloween 3 season of the witch aka the black sheep of the bunch, but its still good in its own way Dear God, please dont bring Jesse back from the dead. Have at leat one meaningful death in the franchise. And his death is still the hardest hitting one with Han's a close second. Them bringing Han back was a wrong choice. He doesn't even do anything now that hes back. And now that everyone has kids, you know they're gonna reboot this franchise and have it be the kids doing the driving. Fast and furious is the MCU for non-comic book/car folks
I Don't Care about What Anyone says - It's An Awesome Saga!! 👊😎✊ And Oh yeah🤔 - Michelle Rodriguez! - Gal Gadot! - Charlise Thereon! - Bree Larson! - Jordanna Brewster! Enough said lol 😊👍👌😊🍁
I'm 26 years old now. I only saw bits and pieces of the first one when it was on TV. It was Vin Diesel whom I recognized from Disney's The Pacifier, so I took a slight interest, but never made any real initiative to watch it. Then sometime later I noticed Fast and Furious and thought it was interesting. Again, recognized Vin for Pacifier. Then sometime later again, I thought about the first film and decided to watch it all the way through. Before ik it, I was on a binge and I was pumped for more, not even realizing that the very next year (it was 2012 at the time), Fast & Furious 6 would be released after seeing a trailer for it and I was hooked. Seeing Fast 6 in theaters was completely bonkers and seeing Statham in that mid credits scene blew everyone in the theater's mind. Then the unfortunate news in November of that year happened right after I got done watching Fast 4. From then on, I've seen every Fast movie in theaters. Every movie has meant so much to me, despite some being better than others (F9 is the only one I dislike). Looking forward to FX Part 2

The 2nd was my favorite out of the first 4. Especially one of my favorite directors directing John Singleton directing r.i.p.
Thanks for slitting the movies up like this the original 4 movies have a special place in my heart Tokyo drift is my favorite
I can’t get enough of the franchise, even when it gets real crazy! I love it!
Started on the streets running from the cops and showing off some cars to flying into space, dropping cars out of planes and working for the man...
Stealing DVD players 😂. Hilarious thinking about it now.
With More Funding They Got to Keep Pushing the Stakes up and to even think that it started as a Article in a magazine!!
I actually liked 2 Fast 2 Furious. The 1st one is my 2nd favorite next to the Fast 5.
The first movie of the series I saw was F&F6 in 2013. I was fascinated by Gal Gadot's beauty!
Fast 7 was my favorite in the saga. Paul Walker's death was handled with such loving reverence, and so easily could have come off as cheesy and exploitative. Fast 5 was my second favorite. I remain a fan of the series, even though they jumped the shark by going to space.
I think all of them are essential from the first 4. Good video overview
Yeah after 5 it just became ridiculous, miss the vibe of racing and group of friends. After Paul left so did it's magic 😢😢😢
I have been a fan since the first movie and seeing it when I was a teenager in cinemas in 2001 and even since the death of Paul walker it has been hard to say what happened since fast 7 and beyond but became weirder

Agreed it’s my second favourite movie in the franchise I always go back to 4 it’s severely underrated totally right.
I love this franchise, although I admit I didn't see the first one until 5 years after it's release and a couple of friends said I needed to watch it.
They have all been good surprised they got this much out of such a simple story
Damn right Point Break rules!
The 1st like most movies is definitely my favorite, with Tokyo Drift coming next "mostly because I actually owned Better Luck Tomorrow" so I knew Hans back story and was able to drown out Lil Bow Wow lol
After the fourth though yeah they lost that grounded "family" aspect things just got alil too cray cray but the 7th was a great tribute to Paul Walker R.I.P.
I kind of lost interest when Paul Walker died.He was integral to the films imo. Still watched them all out of respect for the franchise.
I only like the first 7 films. 1-4 were the golden days of racing
I will always love each and every movie of this franchise. Each and every star makes these movies perfect 🎉🎉🎉
I think your favorite car is the Mercedes SLS AMG showing up in the background.
My favorite movies are the same 4 this video is about, but the cars from the first two movies are fantastic.
One and two are my favorites. But 5 s bank vault heist is my favorite scene in any one of them.

Can't wait for part two!

Why are 90's Toyota Supra's now selling upwards of 6 figures?
Because of 7 words..."you owe me a ten second car"
The first and the third are probably the best out of these entries
14:30 am I crazy? When is Sean part of stealing the money from the uncle??? That was all Han
Of 1 thru 4…….it’s 2, 1, 4 then 3 for me.
Could you do what happened to the movie "Vantage Point"?
Any plans on wtf happened to this movie to power rangers 2017 movie?
The "OG" first "The Fast and Furious", "2 Fast 2 Furious",and "Tokyo Drift" are my favorites!
The franchise went weird after that, and I really lost interest.

2 fast 2 furious my favorite one
What happened to Jessie? Whatever happened to Leon?
The need keep the originals after the rock,Jason and John Cena really killed the movies
Fast and Furious has the guy who voices Beast Boy and Mother’s Milk from The Boys
Why is everyone keep questioning about about Fast & Furious? Just forget it, don't be back in the fast X part 2.
When cars were still cars, after that they turned into tanks and spaceships. When human beings were still human now we have supermen
If you have an idea as to what the The Fast Saga is today you can just skip 1,2 and 3. Ther not bad they just dont add much.
Love Tokyo Drift
This is where I checked out. You can keep the rest of the franchise, I’m not interested.
Everything you need to know. Don't waste your time watching, theres better things to watch, like dust collecting on a side table or plain white walls
Tokyo drift kind of turned me off through it's soundtrack amongst other things when it originally released. But it grew on me and now i honestly think it is a mostly fantastic movie.

Can we all agree that calling the event "Race Wars" was a bad idea...?
I Don't Care about What Anyone says - It's An Awesome Saga!! 👊😎✊
And Oh yeah🤔 - Michelle Rodriguez! - Gal Gadot! - Charlise Thereon! - Bree Larson! - Jordanna Brewster! Enough said lol 😊👍👌😊🍁
👍👍👍🎥
They should've used a Paul Walker AI and paid his daughter for using it.
race wars????

Tokyo drift is just initial D
Tyrese is so annoying! He adds absolutely nothing to the movies! His most exciting moment was when I thought he died in Fast 9
Driving around fast in cars to help save the world; what rubbish!
this franchise sucks.
DONT YOU DARE COMPARE THESE STEAMING PILES OF MONKEY SPUNK TO THE MASTERPIECE KNOWN AS POINT BREAK!!!!
Nothing good after fast 5.
