They're both great, Curry was very funny, while Bill was very creepy. However, while I found Curry to be very funny and frightening. Outside of the moment at the beginning with the little girl and Georgie. I never found him to be threatening afterwards. I've never read the book but from my understanding. Pennywise is supposed to be all the characteristics of a clown. Funny, terrifying, threatening, and a monster. Bill though, got it all down. He was funny, terrifying, a monster, and absolutely, threatening. That scene at the beginning with Georgie. Good God! That was brilliantly well done.
@@marshallburlew7549 They both played the parts well for what their adaptions were. Yes, the opening of the 2017 version was incredible. I really like how they didn’t shy away from Georgie’s murder as well, as it’s a big part of the story.
Listen newer movies are just visually and audioably scarrier than older films. If Tim Curry was Pennywise in the new films it definitely could have been a terrifying experience as well.
@@MisterHotTake Oh I 100% agree with this. Tim Curry is my favourite Pennywise and I find him to be scarier than Bill Skarsgard as his portrayal was more mind gamey and he knew how to play with his prey more.
The good news is I just found and subscribe to you today because your name is so clever but the bad news is you had the wonderful 420 number of subscribers before me and I just messed it up for you. Sorry about that.

Thank you. Yes, I am with you on that one for sure. Tim Curry will always be my favourite and more terrifying version.

@@JakesJunglehunterClan Personally I enjoy both, but agree Bill’s version is frightening.
