These ducks made my pond their home since fall of 2014, they had ducklings somewhere close by and these are the chicks. Might be not seeing them until the end of the year.
Where do you live? I live in TEXAS. Can make great pets, if you start with a young one. Once you make a pet out of duck or goose, they are yours for life.They can't live in the wild any more. p.s. THEY ARE DUCKS, black belly whistlers, ducks.

wow. I only see one pair in my area, and they come to my yard daily, eat corn then leave.
They are social and pack ducks. Ususally in the 100's. They are extremely loud

I live in Central Florida. Never knew they existed until last year. Not sure why they are resident now. i miss their noise now... haaa
