He is almost single handedly responsible for bringing techno out of Detroit and to a wider European audience, you could hear shit like this from him, or you had to go to the Detroit club scene. Unfortunately the scene in Detroit was dying at the time itself, moving more towards the minimal sound to avoid merging with Chicago House. Sven is a legend, probably top 10 in any genre all time.
