- Brand New this year! The Great Humbug Adventure has had a remarkable makeover with impeccable theming!
If Scrooge didn't already have enough going on with ghosts and all, now he is dealing with a humbug infestation and they are taking over! He needs your help to exterminate these pesky little trouble makers. Armed with your repellant gun, and now with room for 4 exterminators in each car, take aim as you ride through the chaos while racking up points. What do these points earn? Bragging rights, of course, and if you're anything like me: self-competition.
I was very nervous about the new ride that it wouldn’t be any good because of no upstairs but I still loved it on June 30, 2020 I was the first Guest ever tried the new The Great humbug adventure when Santas Village in Jefferson New Hampshire was closed I didn’t ask to do this I’ve been going there every year since 2014 and always loved the great humbug adventure they invited me and only the great humbug adventure was open that day I have a best friend there his name is Lenny he fixes the rides and runs them thank you so much for putting this on TH-cam for me to watch! So you put this song on TH-cam the day after I was there I hope you two had fun!

The old one was PTSD inducing, I’m pretty mixed about the new one though, the queue is pretty cool but seems a tad bit thrown together and I’m not a huge fan of how the whole second story of the ride was removed but overall I think it’s a pretty solid upgrade.

Charlie G Yeah you’re right, I think they got the new Humbugs right, the increased capacity and the indoor queue is nice, but I think the rooms are a wee bit repetitive and the layout isn’t as exciting as it originally was. It was probably flattened to accommodate for the larger cars.
It was a bit disappointing to lose the drop, I did like that part. The rest I think is good!
I do think they were somewhat limited by the current building. Because they did not redo the whole building they had to fit to what they had.
