    1. Don't be "friends" with Palpatine.
    2. Don't be enemies with Palpatine.
    3. Do not interact wil Palpatine

    As revealed in a comic:
    Unfortunately, the aftermath of this, Kix actually did some investigating in correlation with what fives told him... However, near the very end of the war, Dooku had Kix hunted down and frozen in a Cryo-cycle stasis pod and forgotten about. Kix remained frozen in time for 50 years! So when he eventually woke up, having missed the end of the war, the rise and fall of the Empire and death of Palpatine... Kix was far too late to warn anybody about Palpatine's grand plan.

      To prevent the Kaminonian from injecting Fives with dubious injections, the Shakti should have kept a closer eye on Fives and the doctor, rather than staring with the pilots at the panoramic views. Very unprofessional and thoughtless. This is not what you want to see from a Jedi Master sitting on the Council.

    The last appearance of Fox as well.
    Shortly after the rise of the Empire, Fox mistook Vader for another Jedi and had the Troopers open fire on him. Once he realized his mistake, Fox couldn't even finish his apology before Vader snapped his neck.
    Considering Fox's involvement in the Ahsoka arc and Fives arc, Vader probably enjoyed doing it.

    And so the last Domino had fallen. Such a tragic tale of a squad of clones who began their journey by hating each other and failing their tests to eventually working together and forming their own bonds with eachother, especially Fives and Echo. The fact that a single clone almost ruined Palpatines master plan in a few days is so ironic since Palpatine probably regarded the clones as not even a threat but simple pawns in his grand game. So the fact that Fives is the person who cam the closest to stopping Palpatine, not even the Jedi or other forces is iconic and feels my heart with so much pride. The Domino Squad forever! You are all heroes!
    And I feel so sad for Rex, him and Fives grew incredibly close through the course of these seasons. I mean he was the one to recruit him and Echo to the 501st to begin with. And to have Fives die in his arms is heartbreaking. And he truly wanted to believe Fives and help but he could do nothing but stand around and watch.
    Also to answer your question about what happens to the Kaminoans and the Clones after the war. It is all explained in the Bad Batch series. It is basically the sequel to the Clone Wars show. It basically picks off right where the show left off timeline wise and explains the fate of the clones and focuses on the Republic's transition to Empire. The transision obviously didn't happen over night and it's a long process to reorganize an entire galactic governement and it's army. So the show takes place in the first few years after order 66 where the empire is in it's infancy through the perspective of the clones. And since you've said how much you have grown to like the clones I thing you will enjoy the show a lot. And the third and final season comes out in a few months so it's really exciting.
    I also have a question. Do you plan to watch the Bad Batch after this show or watch Rebels first ? Chronologically it would make sense to watch the Bad Batch of course as Rebels takes place 15 years after the Clones Wars, so a few years before A New Hope. But i'm sure a lot of people are going to recommend watching Rebels first since the Bad Batch has a few cameos from Rebels when the characters were younger. Although the cameos are not particularly big or that impactful to the story so if you truly want to continue this journey chronologically than I think it's fine to go with the Bad Batch first. But it's you call, either way i'm excited for what's next!

    • @benspiller
      @benspiller  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's quite shocking that a Clone came so close, it would have been perfect if he pulled it off and would have been the perfect irony for Palpi but of course that man has to be too brilliant and capable.
      Glad to here all the Empire stuff will get explained in the show, planning on sticking with the chronological order, after Clone Wars I've got the last two episodes of Tales of the Jedi and then Bad Batch and I do like the idea of following the timeline cause even though I don't want to leave this era of Star Wars, I definitely want to experience the Empire from its beginning to its end.

    I don’t know if it is confirmed. But it is definitely implied that Fox and the rest of the coruscant guard already have their chips activated, so they do everything Palpatine tells them to do without questioning it. Like rushing and shooting their brother on sight.

    • @benspiller
      @benspiller  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's exactly what I was thinking, would make so much sense if Palpi activated them cause who knows what kind of shifty things he would need them to do and Fox killed Fives like he was any other target and not one of his brothers which doesn't seem like typical Clone behaviour at all.

    This is definitely the beginning of the end, and also the start of the Lost Missions season (where the show was cancelled with Netflix picking it up to air the finished episodes which is why it's shorter than previous seasons), note that there was a six years gap between this season and the next (last) season so expect an animation upgrade. Up until this point we didn't know why the clones betrayed the Jedi, so this was very shocking and important going into the last few months of the war.
    This is also the last time we see Kix with his signature haircut, if you pay attention next time you see him he's got the standard clone cut and its suspected that he had removed his chip by that point. Which resulted in a really sad ending for him, stranded alone in the sequels time period (wish they'd done more with him).
    There's a bit of debate over how much the Kaminoans know about the chips and Palps. But I highly recommend the Bad Batch after finishing the Clone Wars as it deals with the immediate aftermath of Order 66, Kamino, and the rise of the Empire (though there is still one season to be released). Rebels is years into the Empire's time, and while it's good I'd recommend watching in chronological order.

    • @benspiller
      @benspiller  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can imagine what kind of shock this would bring but also that it might bring some relief knowing the Clones had no choice but to turn and they were probably experiencing a horrible fate too while Order 66 was happening, having to watch as they killed their friends with not even being able to control their own bodies.
      Been told about how Kix basically got the Captain America treatment so happy that at least one Clone didn't have to go through Order 66 and has a pretty open-ended future.
      I will be watching Bad Batch after clone wars, really like the idea of sticking with the chronological order cause I'll just get to experience the Empire from start to finish.

    Despite how the incident ended, Shaak Ti was uncomfortable about returning to Kamino and refused to go back. Thus, she stayed on Coruscant and another Jedi was assigned to Kamino in her place.
    Besides a few missions, Shaak Ti spent the remainder of the year in her quarters, meditating... until the night a familiar face walked in, and stabbed her in the back. Meanwhile, the Jedi sent to Kamino was killed immediately upon Order 66.

    Nala Se is not evil. She follows orders. Sifo Dyas was the one who commissioned the clone production, and Dooku, being his friend, knew everything and had access to everything. It's worth noting that Nala Se doesn't address him as Count Dooku but as Lord Tyranus. No one knows about the existence of Darth Tyranus, and especially no one knows that it's Dooku.
    After Sifo's death, Dooku had access to everything. No one knew about the existence of this planet, so Dooku could have a significant influence there. As Tyranus, he could have completely subjugated Kamino over the years, for example, by influencing a change in power to a more favorable one that doesn't ask many questions and blindly executes orders. And here comes Prime Minister Lama Su and Nala Se.
    We can once again say that the Jedi are fools. I don't believe what I'm about to say, but this time, Krell gets a plus. He is one of the few who didn't trust the clones. This army appeared out of nowhere, based on the DNA of a bounty hunter who fought on the Separatists' side, a Jedi who is already dead stood behind it, and no one talked about it.
    This is suspicious and raises only more questions. This alone should prompt the Jedi to start an investigation. Unfortunately, the Jedi sent Shak Ti only with instructions to defend the planet and not to seek answers.
    Now the Jedi have repeated their mistake from the previous arc. They didn't listen to Ahsoka or Barriss, and now they didn't listen to Fives. What is this situation? It's an error that triggered a very dangerous chain reaction that could be dangerous for Palpatine. It was enough just to trust and help the clone who had crucial information and needed help because they literally wanted to kill him. This is dictated by the Jedi Code - help and protect others. The Jedi didn't do that, they sat in the Temple and even sabotaged Fives by disinformation, and thus, one of the last opportunities to stop Palpatine was wasted.
    Fives died for nothing.
    [*] Fives
    Palpatine most likely strongly suggested to Fives what the chips were for in a way that other clones in the room wouldn't understand. He knew that Nala Se gave him drugs that influenced his aggression. He didn't need to use the Force; sincerity and finding the right words were enough.
    The only one who won't believe the Republic's official explanations is Kix, who will start his own investigation. In this investigation, he will gain answers to questions that Fives didn't know. He will learn who Palpatine and Dooku are and their influence on Kamino. Unfortunately, before he can reveal this information to the Jedi, he will be detected and captured by the Separatists during a desperate escape. He will be frozen in carbonite to be latter interrogated about whether anyone else knows about it. However, the Separatists' ship encounters the Republic fleet and is shot down, frozen Kix and wreckage of the ship, falls onto an unknown planet. Perhaps after the fall of the Empire, he is unfrozen by local pirates. He is devastated by what he learns from them. Ultimately, he accepts his past and joins the pirates, building his new life.
    Many people hated Fox after this arc, but I have to defend him. Fox, as the leader of the Coruscant Guard, was always taught to shoot first and ask questions later and defend the Chancellor at all costs.
    Fives, under the influence of the drug, was aggressive, attacked the Chancellor, and behaved strangely. This creates a certain image in Fox's eyes.
    When he tried to arrest Fives, he twice ordered him to surrender and advised him not to reach for the blaster. Fox didn't want to shoot, but when Fives reached for the blaster, he had to.
    (Many use the argument that he could use stun, indeed, it might have been a mistake not to set the weapon to stun, but he couldn't expect the situation to escalate like that, and Fives would want to fight. Also, a stun shot sometimes needs to be fired several times.)

    • @benspiller
      @benspiller  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Okay so I guess the Kaminoans are bascially victims instead of villains but still not exactly happy with them, and wow Krell was actually right or atleast right to be suspicious, it still baffles me that the Jedi just accepted the army blindly when there are so many red flags.
      Fives's death literally just adds another reason to hate the Jedi, poor man was trying to save them the entire time but they were the ones who refused to listen and got him killed.
      Would have loved to know exactly what Palpi said, just think it would have been such a sereal moment hearing his plan actually being spoken.
      So Kix manages to learn the truth and the whole truth but gets the Captain America treatment, the Clones just can't catch a break but at least that means one gets a happy ending.
      My minds not made up with Fox, he's been involved with the whole Ahsoka thing and now this which doesn't look good for him but his training and being around Palpatine would obviously have a negative impact on him which he couldn't be blamed for.

    Like the Kaminoans said in Attack of the Clones, the inhibitor chips make the clones less independent than the original host, Jango Fett. Remember how he was pretty confrontational? It does seem like the clones are a little less so, in their personalities (imho, anyway)

    Another arc focusing on the incompetence of the Jedi. It is completely incomprehensible why, when transporting Fives to Coruscant, Shak-Ti did not take him under her personal visual control throughout the entire journey. She calmly looked somewhere into the distance, it’s unclear where, while the doctor was essentially left alone with the tied Fives. Shakti simply allowed the doctor to inject a certain substance that upset the mental state of Fives, making him look like an inadequate aggressive character, all this conveniently fits with the fairy tale about how clones cannot exist without chips, as they become more aggressive and inadequate.
    The Jedi Council, including Yoda, calmly eats Palpatine’s dubious tales about the parasite. Not smart and not wise. No joke, this bunch of pompous, self-righteous and blind "wise mens" had to be defeated. I have no sympathy for anyone on the Jedi Council other than Obi-Wan. Yoda may also be on the right side, but he still caved in under the pressure of the “majority votes” of the Council and as the head of the Council and the Jedi Order in general, Yoda is responsible for all actions, because the final word and decision remains with him.
    P.s. And this is another sad arc, I really feel sorry for Fives.
