  • For many years, I have carried a Leatherman Multi Tool on me. It is a great tool to have whenever you are doing anything around the house, the farm or at work. It will be also a great thing to have on you if there is an emergency situation and your survival depends on you having a tool handy to open doors, windows, cut seat belts or who knows what else.
The model I use the most is the Rebar. That one is my daily carry, although I have other models I keep in the cars and the around the house.

I always have my Leatherman Knifeless Rebar on me when I am on my motorcycle, will the bit adapter. I also have a Leatherman P4 aftermarket bit adapter that I use on my Rev, clipped to my pocket at all times, except for when I go to a place that has Knife regulations. I also carry a Victorinox Rambler on my keys and a Olight IR2 Pro flashlight. I keep bits in my pocket tool pouch and the bit adapters. If the Rebar had a pocket clip, I probably wouldn't bother carrying a Leatherman Rev, but I would miss the package opener for plastic bubble packaging. Another issue I have with my Leatherman Knifeless Rebar, I have a use gap at the bottom of my wire cutters, which makes cutting solid wire or hard wire almost impossible. I broke the cutters at least 4 times and I just got the EOD cutters, to hopefully solve that issue. I mostly cut copper solid core electric wire, so I am shocked they are breaking. I love it still, it's just frustrating and I basically bought another Rebar in wire cutter replacement over the last year and a half. I had a Regular Rebar I bought years ago and that never broke the cutters, but sadly a old roommate took it. I believe that Rebar I don't have anymore had the 154CM cutters and they even cut galvanized fence without a issue. I was happy to have the Knifeless Rebar and I was very disappointed when my 1st cut broke my cutters, but I also thought it was a defective pair. I have the EOD cutters in my Orange Charge G10 and those seem to be ok, so I hope they hold up in my Knifeless Rebar as well. You just have to file down the 1 corner of the EOD cutters. I do agree with you that the Rebar is an awesome multitool and I trust everything on it, besides the newer wire cutters. I bought a Bond and I have been tempted to exchange the plier heads and add the package opener to my Knifeless Rebar. It would void the warranty though, which is why I haven't done it yet.

@@Spanky8402 I haven’t had any issues with the wire cutters yet, but, I’m curious now. I’m going to test it with a few different gauge solid copper wires and see how it performs. The big thing of the rebar for me is that it has all I need in a smaller package, my pockets are already full with other items so I keep it in the belt holster. I do have a light that a customer gave me a while back that it’s always in my pocket. I’ll make a video about it. Thank you for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it.
