it would be nice and super usuful to see a video where you "guide" your brother through the problems as you did at one point in the video, giving him suggestions and showing the correct execution. I'm here since the #1 and it's only getting better, great job
I would enjoy the same. It is difficult to walk the line between letting someone try out on his/her one and annoying him/her to death with too much tips. I think you'll manage that and it'll be a nice new format.
totally. i would also like to see one from your brothers point of view "beginner beta" (projecting something, how he reads it etc) and then working through the problem with tips from you, how and when to train someone, when they are ready for new techniques etc!
Maybe you should do some dedicated tutorials with your brother as he is more of a beginner and you kinda do it already as part of your vlogs. Tutorials will probably bring also many new people to your awesome channel, because they search for such things so it can grow even bigger. Im here since day one of the Vlogs and i love them more and more as youre getting better and better with making videos. Much love from Germany.
The smoothness with which you caught the bicycle on the last move on the 8a was incredible. Just great to watch and an inspiration for us climbing and producing videos. Keep it up dude!
One of your best vlogs yet! The best thing for me was seeing you get spat off 6b+ and 7a etc! Because I think it's important for anyone new to climbing, or plateauing in their progress, to see that even the pros who crush 8b or 9b (or whatever) find some styles trickier than others. Super inspiring!! We've all got room for improvement whatever the level. Looking forward to the next 100 vlogs and seeing Olavs progress
Congrats on 100 Vlogs! I enjoyed them all and am looking forward for the next ones. Also 0:45 is my favorite part. How you laughed about this thing was so genuine. Couldn't stop laughing.
At first i wasnt drawn too much to your videos but lately its getting more and more to the point where your content is by far the most enjoyable for me on youtube. Keep up the great work and have a great year! GL to your brother aswell with his transformation!
You are an inspiration every day good sir. I just got back into climbing after 5 years off due to sickness and injury and sent my first v4 since I've been back. thanks for the motivation, and great content
You can actually watch Olav get better and better as the video goes on! He goes from looking super uncomfortable on the holds and on the wall to looking pretty damn strong! I guess bouldering runs in the family.
this one was GREAT Magnus!! a great challenge of 100 boulders! sooooo interesting to see the difference of your climbing styles/techniques between you and your brother (looking forward to seeing how that grows) and also really fun to see you struggle on slabs (my style!)! love how your vlogging style has grown, love the music and love seeing your humor!
As others have suggested, do videos where you teach your brother. Better yet, do the same route as him (and other beginners), show the two climbs side-by-side in slow motion, perhaps at 10% speed and talk about what the newbies are doing wrong. Perhaps illustrate with lines showing usual errors like bent arms or no support for center of gravity.
I definitely know that the difficulty of the route varies depending on what your skill set is, but it was fascinating watching you struggle with 6B_ and 7A slab boulders when you're crushing 8A-8C sport routes. Definitely puts things in perspective
Yeah I never understood that (the dislike) I've always found slab to be really enjoyable ... I've always thought slab routes had really interesting movement.
Awesome video! Awesome dedication! Have some rest and keep up this great channel! Looking forward to seeing how it will evolve now that Olav has joined you :D
New to bouldering/climbing (3 visits) and I felt good yesterday when I did 17 problems over a 2 and a half hours. Like wow just shows what experience and practice can do. Sidenote completed my first (V3-V4) yesterday and that felt great
8a hardest boulder in the gym ? Aren’t you bored ? That’s warm up for you! Cool video, looks so easy when you do all this boulder. Excited for Vlog 200, could be hard. Keep going!
Thanks! The grades at our gym are pretty hard, so doing a 8A can take me a while actually. And usually I will just hang out in the training room making my own boulders. Don't get bored of that:)
Magnus Midtbø Yeah, making own boulder with friends is most much more fun. When you creat crazy moves or make funny challenges. I think, it’s good to have your brother with you, to have a training partner and of course to edit your videos ;).
it would be so interesting to see you working through a project, your mental processes, struggles, approaches, where you make alterations and why.. etc!
french fan ! you're vlog are really beautiful like all others, nice work. Always quality and you're level of climbing is awesome !!! an hard worker, a model for me and I think others ... :) (sorry for my english if is no good)
So interesting to see you climb different types of problems, especially slabs ;) Balancey stuff like that is my jam, but I'm working to improve my overhang skills!
Awesome VLOG Magnus, since it is Winter now, I wanted to ask if you have any experience in Ice climbing? If yes then a VLOG would be cool on that, if not why not do an introduction or beginner session on that? All the best and keep up the work! :)
Hey Magnus cracking video. Loving the content. Keep it up. Coming from the perspective of a very non-ripped climber would be very interested in a vid that covers your diet / nutrition. Make sure you intersperse it with crushing some epic sends! Lol. Nice one geezer
So nice to train at the same gym and to see the vlog (I managed to do the orange 6c+ after around 20 tries :( ). I'm definitely going back to try some of these problems again.
You should do a full 100 boulder no cut, as 2nd video for the hardcore fan and also revenu you know, like plugging in this video the no cut video. I feel like i'm watching your old content but damn dude I fucking love it. Makes me want to start it back. Keep you yo shit It's fucking amazing/inspiring
Ew, tired-to-death Magnus still climbs about milion times better, than I do. Lets promote him to a climbing god. I hope you never reach 200, that might kill you, unless you get another crew member :D Looking forward for all that insane footage in 2k18. Congrats.
For some reason, the first couple times I saw Magnus in a video, I didn't like him. Slowly but surely I've come to realize he's awesome. I subscribed today!

I dunno... I think you can only go so far with siblings. Otherwise, everyone gets a ticket for the grumpy train.

nice to see 6b+ slabs can even get the pros sweating !
Yeah after 70 boulders of >7A for sure.
After 9 hours of climbing I think a loosely closed jar of peanut butter would get me sweating.
You can actually watch Olav get better and better as the video goes on! He goes from looking super uncomfortable on the holds and on the wall to looking pretty damn strong! I guess bouldering runs in the family.
That intro was something haha! Really enjoying the playful editing choices in your recent videos.
Really nice to see two different types of climbers! Congratulations :)
this one was GREAT Magnus!! a great challenge of 100 boulders! sooooo interesting to see the difference of your climbing styles/techniques between you and your brother (looking forward to seeing how that grows) and also really fun to see you struggle on slabs (my style!)! love how your vlogging style has grown, love the music and love seeing your humor!
awesome VLOG again Magnus, for your 200th maybe do the same with lead climbs ;-)
Hahah then I would have to live stream it:)
Id happily lend a hand filming it dude :-)
lets go for it I would stay awake to watch it :)

Super cool video! Congrats for #100 vlog!! Glad to be watching since the begining! 🤘
Congratulations! We know you quite a lot into everything you do. Even a little blood around 12:31 ! As always love the Vlog.
Big congrats to V100! Nice streched goal, too. I'm really looking forward to it!
I definitely know that the difficulty of the route varies depending on what your skill set is, but it was fascinating watching you struggle with 6B_ and 7A slab boulders when you're crushing 8A-8C sport routes. Definitely puts things in perspective
Rob Drury true but dont forget he is very tired when trying those as he has done over 90 hard boulders before them
I’ve noticed most climbers, from beginners all the way up to pros, tend to dislike/struggle with slabs. It is pretty interesting.
Yeah I never understood that (the dislike) I've always found slab to be really enjoyable ... I've always thought slab routes had really interesting movement.
loved it! i like the little coaching excerpt as well. very excited about the coming vlogs, thanks magnus!!
Congratulations Magnus, for both the 100 vlogs and the 100 boulders. Another awesome video ;)
Congrats on 100 videos and being such an inspiration and motivation!!! Those were some really awesome sends! Looking forward to more!
Epic vid! Awesome to see you climbing and training your bro!
Just doing 80 boulders on one day seems crazy to me! Thanks for the Vlogs, they’re so inspiring!!!
very cool to see the difference in skill level. Your brother is super fit and still struggles on v2. Then you go right up the harder stuff. Awesome!
we need a 200 boulder video now Magnus :)
Awesome video! Awesome dedication! Have some rest and keep up this great channel! Looking forward to seeing how it will evolve now that Olav has joined you :D
Magnus: Totally crushing a v11
Everyone: Watching his epic skills
Me: Watching the people in the background
(6:09)

You are best! Brothers are Power!
New to bouldering/climbing (3 visits) and I felt good yesterday when I did 17 problems over a 2 and a half hours. Like wow just shows what experience and practice can do.

Nice to see that Magnus can take multiple tries on the lower level slabs

+Magnus Midtbø yeah not like telefonplan, klättercentret, softest grades i know :)
it would be so interesting to see you working through a project, your mental processes, struggles, approaches, where you make alterations and why.. etc!
To see this l like cruch a lot of new boulders😮
Like you did in stockholm!
french fan ! you're vlog are really beautiful like all others, nice work. Always quality and you're level of climbing is awesome !!! an hard worker, a model for me and I think others ... :) (sorry for my english if is no good)
Myyyy, gaaaad that was impressive! Well done :D
super cool slabs 👌👌
So interesting to see you climb different types of problems, especially slabs ;) Balancey stuff like that is my jam, but I'm working to improve my overhang skills!
Good to see that the 6B+ I haven't been able to figure out is the hardest one in the gym.
Wonder what the V score total for this ended up being
Awesome VLOG Magnus, since it is Winter now, I wanted to ask if you have any experience in Ice climbing? If yes then a VLOG would be cool on that, if not why not do an introduction or beginner session on that? All the best and keep up the work! :)
7:34... amazing Magnus
My fingertips are hurting just thinking about that many boulder problems. That was insane!
Wow some of those 7As seemed brutal.
It probably has to do with getting tired, which made them seem harder
@16:27 'It's like when you think you are tired, and you are not tired' says Magnus, after doing 100 boulder problems. OK!
Great video . That gym looks amazing . I have just subscribed gonna watch all your vlogs from the start. Keep up the good work .thanks
Killed it!!
shirtless magnus, double magnus - 11 gelatos out of 10. great as usual ^)
@12:29 Holy shin Batman!
I'd like to see a video where your campusing a bunch of routes. That would be cool
Super wideo, like always :)
Can't wait for VLOG #200 :D
Bravo!
Found you through Jujimufu's latest videos. Really like your videos!! This one was awesome :)
🍾
Love the vlogs!!
Congrats!! And keep vlogging.
Epic Magnus!
you made olaf's v1s look really good.
Nice to see the lower grades have interesting setting as well as the harder ones.
Great music!
Great/ Cool boulders #40 espesially and #93 )))100
Nice video man!
Great video magnus
Could you do some that are 6A or less with hands only? I think that would be really fun to watch! And that 6B+ at 14:40 needs to be re-graded!
I like the music you chose and the video cut :D
Ew, tired-to-death Magnus still climbs about milion times better, than I do. Lets promote him to a climbing god.
I hope you never reach 200, that might kill you, unless you get another crew member :D
Looking forward for all that insane footage in 2k18. Congrats.
For some reason, the first couple times I saw Magnus in a video, I didn't like him. Slowly but surely I've come to realize he's awesome. I subscribed today!
Great idea for #100. I did something a bit similar - 65 sends on my 65th birthday.
That is inspiring. I hope I can still be climbing when I am 65. Congrats!
machine!
Congrats :)
0 dislikes so far :OO Never seen that before in a video with 1k likes!! Just goes to show how great you are Magnus :)
So that's why you brought in your brother to edit, so you could pass 20 boulders off onto him for the 100th episode!
Exactly😈
Nice video my dude.
1:42 he dropped da jam
beautiful intro
That intro tho... someone had a lot of caffeine that day
