@@revolutionariesoffreedom2374 Lol is that what they teach you in your history books? No wonder your education system is so bad which results in ignorant americans like yourself no offence.
America did not defeat Germany in neither of the world wars. They did not even make a significant impact on the outcome of the both wars. 70% of Hitler's forces were concentrated on the eastern front against the USSR and the rest of the 30% were fighting on the western front against allied troops most notably the British. In ww1 US did not even declare war on Germany after three years went by and the war ended the next year. Same in ww2 Germany only declared war at the end of 1941.
USSR's collapse has literally nothing to do with the United States. After the death of Stalin, Khrushchev became the leader and his reactionary policies like the destalinization of the USSR was what led the country towards downfall. The final nail in the coffin was Gorbachev who disintegrated the Soviet Union entirely.
I'll agree with your point on the revolutionary war but that was hundreds of years ago and has nothing to do with today.

For this, we are divided in 8 military commands of area in this immense Brazil. We respect the ethnical and geographical differences of every region. And we know we are part of a whole, and with that, we give our life for this land. We know that there's no nation without history, there's no country without roots. Therefore, we valoue every page of our past, and we remember the sacrifices of our heroes, to maintain this giant called Brazil. With that, we look into the future, but without forgetting the origins of our force. An union of races and creeds. It born in this way in 1648, the Brazilian Army. From there, to maintain this giant, it was needed many campaigns of pacification headed for who is considered today, the patron of the force, Duque de Caxias. Now, in the 21st century, our army gets prepared to attend the needs of prompt employement of new and constant challenges. It works THOUSAND times better than the American ad. Greeting from Argentina to our Brazilian neigbours.

It was definitely better. But Brazil from the start was diverse. America has problems with discrimination and racism. What they really should say is “it doesn’t matter who you are, you just have to be a brave fighter and willing to give it your all.” You don’t need to give every soldier a backstory. And feel free to show a black soldier or a gay soldier or a transgender soldier. But don’t talk about their past because as the Russian ad said. That doesn’t matter, it’s about your willingness to give it your all.

Many Brazilians doubted that Brazil would ever fight in another war, it was said that it was easier for a snake to smoke than for Brazil to enter the war. When Brazilian troops were sent to Italy to fight in WW2, the snake smoked. @@drumsmoker731 hopefully the world does similar sanctions. Russia since the time of the Tsar has strived for self sufficiency and that's how they lasted the Cold War, they produced almost all their raw resources and all of their own manufactured goods. China meanwhile has relied heavily on trade, foreign aid, and foreign investment since the same time period. China had horribly inefficient manufacturing during the early modern period and relied quite a bit on tributes to keep their economy afloat in addition to trade, then after the industrial revolution they lagged far behind and relied heavily on the pittance of trading they could do, then during WW2 and the cold war they relied almost entirely on foreign aid. Mao covered it up but he recieved tons of Soviet aid and the sino soviet split (and the time preceding it) the Chinese played an extortion game telling the Soviets they'd open up to the west if the Soviets didnt give them more tech and more investment and they did this until the Soviets went bankrupt and after that they played a similar game with the americans, soliciting aid in return for "opening up" and leaving the Soviets. After the cold war theyve relied heavily on foreign aid and trade with the west and their economy today is a house of cards, while the west can use Africa, south/central America, eastern Europe, india, or other parts of asia for cheap manufacturing China has no alternatives besides America and the EU to buy much of their goods. To make matters worse for China they rely heavily on stolen IP to advance their technology and boost their economy and they cant steal tech without their current model of hosting foreign manufacturing. Sanctions in China will hurt everyone but while the West relies heavily on cheap Chinese manufacturing China NEEDS foreign investment, foreign technology, and western trade. Without it they'll go back to Maoist times of scarcity and low income.

Their army sure does. Quite seriously, that army is an internet meme caught between drone bombed soldiers and jack-in-the-box tanks.
