The Left want Equality of Outcome where everyone has the same outcome regardless of education, relevant qualifications or suitability/talent for the job. i.e box ticking where a percentage of people are hired or promoted based purely on their gender or ethnicity. I was once called a racist because I organized a group of church kids to help paint and elderly black gentleman’s house in the community I served. I was told that was being racist! It is insane! By the way, spent a few hours on the front porch with this beautiful soul! He was in his 80s and told me his experiences with segregation in the south. It's so far from my moral core. I'm a white female, I work in the medical community, emergency front line trauma to be specific. I see people as they are, humanity in all it's colours, equal and family to each other. Our culture & traditions are varied and beautiful in their own right, these are things we should support and appreciate about each other. Tearing each other down, using history and hate to divide us only takes us down a path of segregation and blinds us to the truth that we all deserve the same rights, freedoms, and happiness. I am white, retired and living in Florida. I just love all the oppressed that make these demands. Let me tell them a little bit about my white privilege. I grew up in a NYC housing project with my parents and my 2 brothers and my 3 sisters, 8 of us in a 900 square foot apartment with 1 bathroom, 1 black and white television that worked most of the time and no air conditioning! We did have a washing machine but no dryer so, we had to carry loads of wet and very heavy clothes about a mile and a half to the closest laundromat where we had to stand in 110 degree heat and fold all the clothes after drying and then walk all the way home. We all tried really hard to get into bed and sleeping every night before “he” came home, if you were still up, there was no telling what could happen! My closest in age brother and I made it through the 2 year’s of race riots in junior high school before the public high school that “housed” 2800 kids in a school originally built as a grammar school for 700. We went to HS on split shifts, juniors and seniors started classes at 7:30AM and went till 2:00 while freshman and sophomores came in at 10: 20AM and went till 4:30. Now the rest of the story is how I got the fuck outta there! So let me be the first to say, I’m so sorry for my white privilege. For your part young lady, very well said!

I have been called a racist more times then I can count. I was once called a racist because I organized a group of church kids to help paint and elderly black gentleman’s house in the community I served. I was told that was being racist! It is insane! By the way, spent a few hours on the front porch with this beautiful soul! He was in his 80s and told me his experiences with segregation in the south. There was no hatred, no talk of being owed something, just really cool stories of times gone by....I learned a great deal from this kind man...

I grew up in a NYC housing project with my parents and my 2 brothers and my 3 sisters, 8 of us in a 900 square foot apartment with 1 bathroom, 1 black and white television that worked most of the time and no air conditioning! We did have a washing machine but no dryer so, we had to carry loads of wet and very heavy clothes about a mile and a half to the closest laundromat where we had to stand in 110 degree heat and fold all the clothes after drying and then walk all the way home. We all tried really hard to get into bed and sleeping every night before “he” came home, if you were still up, there was no telling what could happen! My closest in age brother and I made it through the 2 year’s of race riots in junior high school before the public high school that “housed” 2800 kids in a school originally built as a grammar school for 700. We went to HS on split shifts, juniors and seniors started classes at 7:30AM and went till 2:00 while freshman and sophomores came in at 10: 20AM and went till 4:30. Now the rest of the story is how I got the fuck outta there! So let me be the first to say, I’m so sorry for my white privilege.

Slavery.. its something every race through time has experienced at one point or another. In the times of Egypt, the Hebrews were subjugated and enslaved. In the times of the Vikings and Romans, the English were subjugated and enslaved. In the time of the British Empire, Africans were subjugated and enslaved. Slavery is a very unfortunate part of HUMAN history. Then comes the topic of racism. I lived in the south until I was 20, and let me tell ya, it goes both ways. Racism can be found in any form, not just when white people do and say negative things to people of color. It’s a two way road most times. Yes, there are unfair balances between opportunities amping different ethnic backgrounds in this country, but in the same respect, I have met a TON of individually successful people of color. It’s not about the color of your skin folks, it’s about the drive, motivation, and desire to improve your quality of life. Almost everyone had to bust their ass and work hard for the things they have.
My last message is a challenge on the descriptive of African American. I challenge you to stop using it as a basis of color, but to instead use it for what it really means. Did you emigrate from Africa? Yes? Then your African American. Were you born here in the United States? Yes? Then you are an American!!!
