Just like Piracy, credit is due to whoever is the artist(s)/ in charge of directing the art. There's a pretty clear indication now that they've got a good sense of silhouettes and posework: every one of Sonic's poses up until the final form are easily readable at a glance and easy to tell apart from one another

I personally appreciate a ton how Re-RUN's sprites (the incomplete ones you see at the end) are animated by hand-drawn frames, for the cartoonish element that matches the lore.
I like how the poses are partially animated when the notes are hit. The downside is that there are so many of them going off that the animation doesn't get a chance to fully go through before a different note is hit.
