Internet-watchers heaven! Beautiful videography, calming, peaceful and tranquil. Love the inter-play with your pets, makes gardening so much more fun! Thank you for the uploads!
My condolences on you loss. I'm glad you were able to go home to be with your family. I'm jealous that your Spring comes earlier than ours. Last year, our final snow of the season was mid-May. Growing some vegetables is challenging in so short a season. We get lots of cherry tomatoes, courgettes, pumpkins, summer squash, lettuce, green onions etc. Have a good week! Blessed Be!
I just love watching your channel. I love your furry friends, the cats are so inquisitive always with one of you. I love what you are doing keep up the good work.
I find that if the peas grows on a trellis, it is easier to harvest. The stems are very flimsy and do break easily when harvesting. Greating from South Africa
Hi Carrisa and Iwan I love watching your Vlog . Especially now your planting your seeds Blue skies are amazing we haven't had much of them Lately in Ireland just 1 storm after another. It was so good you got back home to be with your family Sad about your GRAND MOTHER . I am sure she was a lovely Lady. R,I,p
Looks like you've had some great weather lately ❤ Loveeee your shirt you are wearing in the square space ad 👌🏻cant get over how big the double yolker was 😅 i wonder if we will ever get one from our girls! I bought artichoke seeds this week, i cant wait fo plant them 🎉 can't wait to see how your garden does this year 🥰
Like the other folks here I love seeing a little animal helper in every frame. It's clear to see why you have such lovely pets, they get so much love 🥰. It was fun to watch Iwan up pruning in the pear tree. And he really is becoming a master of the vines 🍇. Carissa, your little wattle fencing has totaly inspired me to save everything and to build all sorts of natural things, which I do so much prefer to store bought. 😊 Take care and have a lovely week. 🥰 ♥️🌿
Your choice of music for your videos along with Martyn Doolard’s are just BEAUTIFUL!!! One of my favorite channels. Thank you for your inspiring, adorable and kind channels out there!
If your waiting for the potatoes to sprout, it’s best to keep them in a paper bag and eave it inside to promote the sprouting . Your cats have many olive trees to climb up & down , hence you don’t need an artificial cat climbing tree . I have started following you since a month , I swear I never have watched that long video like yours before but believe me I see it with so much pleasure . I admire and love your paradise together with the kitty & 2 doggies . Take care 😍😍😍😍😍
Yes potatos in a bag in a cupboard......dark place to sprout. In New Zealand the pansy you planted in the terracotta pot is called Primrose, beautiful variety of bright happy colours. Condolences to you both for Iwans Nain. Love from New Zealand
Wonderful vid as usual Clarissa. All you need to make your life complete/perfect is to wean that guy you live with, off Liverpool FC 😃. Good luck with that 💋💋
Your videos are a real work of art and a balm for the soul. Beats the personal worth / benefit of watching most commercial productions by miles. You're both doing super well with the plants and the land. Good on you for harvesting the cut grass and meadow to feed the gardens. Iwan: you may not have had a formal education in viticulture or horticulture, but I've been gardening for decades and your judgement on what and how to prune sounds bang-on to me.
The farm is teeming with life. It is very satisfying watching Iwan prune the grapevines and Carissa planting food and flowers. You show us how you use everything growing, prune/cut it and then use that to go right back in the earth.👏👏❤
My favorite off grid family. The black kitty helping was hilarious 😂 😂. So sorry for your loss, the fur babies were really glad you guys were back home. Oh and I am sorry but I did laugh when you fell, but glad you were not hurt. Such an inspiration at how hard you guys work………
Great vlog. Joaal project managing the vine pruning 😂 Dogs, cats, chickens all super happy down to your loving attention. Hope you have an abundance of crops this year. 💚
The cut grape vines make really lovely wreaths. Just soak them in water for a bit so that they're nice and flexible and then weave them into whatever shape suits your fancy
Loved that you showed us the plants that can be grown this month . Am just learning about climate , conditions here , and like you , really hope to grown all my own food . Thank you for really encouraging me to do this …. You’re soooooooooo peaceful, feel so calm when I watch your filming . Have just become a patron yea ….
Here in eastern europe we usually have snow for easter, though with the changing of the seasons (no seasons) we can never be sure that will happen, yes I did see Dioggo and Frankie in a guest appearance with Uncle Nick, I hope they did'nt lose any socks !! Take care you two..
pruning with the help of a playful cat probably doesn’t make it easier but for sure more enjoyable 🐱 . So much fun to watch, as is the whole video. Thank you.
Lovely video, as usual! A delightful combination of gardening, music, cats and dogs and chickens, enviable weather, and excellent filmmaking. Greetings from Devon.
Planting peas in january! It's like a fantasy when you live in cold and windy Denmark. I can't wait for spring. Joao is such a lucky cat that he found you as a kitten❤ It's a joy to see him helping with the pruning and be a typical, happy kittie in the garden😊😊😊 See you all next week
It's amazing to see the planting your doing, I can't wait to start a few things but it's not Portugal weather here so it's patience. Everything looks so green and healthy.
I would want to see more of your artwork for sure! You are one hardworking woman! The seeds are going to be just splendid. So nice to see how organized you are with everything! Blessings!
Its a beautiful morning here in Los Angeles Ca.and im still in bed all warm and cozy watching your video and feeling so happy that you guys are living your dream 😀 i love how your cats and dogs pal aound with you everywhere 👍..but now i must get up and start my day with positivity thank you for sharing your life .
Good to see Joao supervising when Diogo isn't around! The yellow pansy isn't a pansy, it's a Primrose if it's single stem to each flower & a Primula if flowers are sharing a stem I think.
I know it's hot in the summer, but it must be nice to plant seeds and some plants in the winter months. We have a cold season here and can't plant in the winter. My dream is to have a greenhouse connected to the house so I can have tomatoes and peppers up to Christmas, and maybe something exotic growing all year round. I am learning a lot from your gardening sessions. Thank you for sharing your journey, it's informative and wonderful fun. My mum was British so it's nice to hear your accent. Reminds me of her, she was a great gardener.
Is it so calming watching your videos. Sorry Carissa i had to watch you fall down twice 😅. Hope you weren't hurt, but I did laugh. I always look forward to Saturday to watch you guys. Have a great week.
Great video, nice to see like many of us your animals like to be included in any garden adventures! Takes twice as long to get the job done but , in truth I wouldn’t have it any other way! ❤
Sorry guys im having trouble hearing/understanding you properly this week? 🤔👂🏻 And not pansies but Primulas! Or Primrose (Primula vulgaris) will come back every year if planted in the ground 🌸
Love your familly, you should try plant medicinal and tradicional Portuguese teas, like "erva principe, cidreira, tilia, lucia lima", and others you can cultivate in your garden. Bless you
Love your video content. Fell upon you by watching @campoutwest and now follow a lot of Portugal home stead folk and already planning my retirement! Love the calmness and pace of your work and the garden is gorgeous. Are you going to get a cockerel? Would love to see baby chicks!! Can’t wait to see the barn conversion too. How’s the plans going ? Xxx
Busy, Busy, Busy.......and yet so harmonious Your eye for detail is astounding! The furkids are too - love the interaction Just curious about the birds of prey. Is it lambing, calving? season?
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you guys, from the prunings you can make new tree's and maybe also from the vines make 30 centimeters sticks and bundle them up and put them half way in the ground and wait till leaves are starting to form then if they have roots plant them out, it's always nice to be with you guys so relaxing and your animals playing around wonderful 👍😊.
Hi that plant you called a pansy is actually called a primrose. Pansies are totally different. Nice to see you planting! Your pets are so cute. Really enjoy watching them all.
I'm wondering if the green plant seen on the top of the water in your open well is duckweed (lemna minor). It's hard to tell from the glimpse we get on YT but it's often how duckweed grows. It is an amazingly nutritious plant and chickens love it. You could try giving them just a handful and they will let you know what they think of it. It's a pleasure to see your progress. Thanks.
Love watching your videos. So relaxing. You talked about the white flower you planted into a pot being a pansy. In Canada we call it an English Primrose or Primula. Enjoy the sun we are still in snow☃️
Hei Iwan about the pruning I use to follow this Chanel JSacadura very professional, easy and I believe he is Portuguese and sending from Portugal. He has a really nice English, with a very easy and clear way to explain stuff. A lots of cool stuff.😊
Hi, Carissa and Iwan. Thank you for this lovely video. Iwan, pruning the pear tree and the grape vines were big jobs. Carissa, I really like the way that you repotted the primrose! See you next week❤️❤️
Thank you guys for yet another beautiful little adventure on the homestead! Do you journal as well Iwan, with the pruning of the vines I mean? As you told that the other surrounding farmers have their ways of doing it. Just wondering. Cheers Bert 🙏🏻❤
Internet-watchers heaven! Beautiful videography, calming, peaceful and tranquil. Love the inter-play with your pets, makes gardening so much more fun! Thank you for the uploads!

Loved the chickens inspecting the pruned vine 😊

It looks so peaceful working outside, planting, pruning and doing the garden chores. Great video.❤
Condolences to you, glad you home and the kids are back home, very strange seeing them yesterday at nicks ❤
I see you pulled a Nick, except I don't think you slipped on an orange. Love the black cat finally got some screen time.
😆 nope it was a vine that got me! careful, it’s dangerous out there 🍌
Another great video, nice to see the veggie patch coming on x
Your photography and beautiful music selections make this channel my happy little haven! ❤️🇨🇦

Haha I’m sure he thinks we’re the lucky ones.. he’s probably right! 🐈⬛
Another Dane watching your lovely videos.
I love Iwan's games with the cat! Or is it the cat's games with Iwan?
It's amazing to see the planting your doing, I can't wait to start a few things but it's not Portugal weather here so it's patience. Everything looks so green and healthy.
Thank you so much for sharing your story and putting all that time into making beautiful videos❤

For ease of picking, some train their vines horizontally on fences...very beautiful also!!
Hello new subscriber. Love the work you've done too you're home,
All the animals are so happy 😊 beautiful country ❤

The pruning inspector gave the purr of approval, perhaps a whisker short.......

Your videos are such a joy to watch, thanks for sharing 👍💯🤗
Thank you so much! Very glad you think so!
Bravo. That was wonderful, as always ❤️xx
Condolences on your loss Iwan ❤
Nice to see Frankie for a moment. She seems less active now, but not not less loving?
She’s definitely less active when it’s warm, we’ll take you on a dog walk next week to show you the more energetic side 😅
I could watch all day. 💜
I'm Always happy to watch all your progress best wishes for all the best outcomes on all your hard work ❤
Thank you. Have a great weekend and I don’t think I will ever tire of your vlogs
Such happy hens. They make smile. ❤

Sorry guys im having trouble hearing/understanding you properly this week? 🤔👂🏻 And not pansies but Primulas! Or Primrose (Primula vulgaris) will come back every year if planted in the ground 🌸
two of my observations as well. Especially Ewan when he was explaining about pruning
They look more like Polyanthus to me - they can be left in the ground.
She said "these and pansies"
@@tess1176thought she said “these are pansies”
I'm intrigued by both your accents? They don't come across as Welsh? You seem to have two different accents?
Lovely work and video you have done so much lovely work on your land and home 😊
Diogos little jumps when he runs i cant 😍.
Love your familly, you should try plant medicinal and tradicional Portuguese teas, like "erva principe, cidreira, tilia, lucia lima", and others you can cultivate in your garden. Bless you
Looking good ❤
Thank you 😊
I love the music and your calming voice!
I did like your transplant trick
My dream home
Ours too!
I have that greenhouse. For extra shelving I put timber along back wall. Just rested the timber on the existing shelving left and right hand sides.
Looks like you have a shadow, following your every move pruning lol.😂
Love your video content. Fell upon you by watching @campoutwest and now follow a lot of Portugal home stead folk and already planning my retirement!

The cats were very interested in what was going on today.
Thank you for the lovely videos ♥️
My parents used to grow the corn and peas together, so the vines would grow up the corn stalks. It worked well.
The music in this one... sooooooooooooo perfect for every scene!
Busy, Busy, Busy.......and yet so harmonious
Your eye for detail is astounding!
The furkids are too - love the interaction
Just curious about the birds of prey. Is it lambing, calving? season?
Awww its not a pansy, its a primrose and you can devide them each year to heaps. Your plants are looking lovely x
Hope you saved the long strappy branches for Carissa's raised beds, Ewan 😊
Edit, oh yes 😃
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you guys, from the prunings you can make new tree's and maybe also from the vines make 30 centimeters sticks and bundle them up and put them half way in the ground and wait till leaves are starting to form then if they have roots plant them out, it's always nice to be with you guys so relaxing and your animals playing around wonderful 👍😊.

The birds could be starting their migration back to where they spend the summer 😊
There’s lots of bird movement at the moment. The storks have just returned and are nesting
Very enjoyable video.
Hope you are sanitizing the pruners when transitioning from one vine to the next, especially after the ones that had problems.
Hei Iwan about the pruning I use to follow this Chanel JSacadura very professional, easy and I believe he is Portuguese and sending from Portugal. He has a really nice English, with a very easy and clear way to explain stuff. A lots of cool stuff.😊

That white flower I think is a primrose. These are considered weeds here in Germany. They are one of the earliest spring blooms.
Have a great day
what a great dive!🤣
🤣
Lovely gentle vlog
