The original “New York city crime report” podcast, is still one of the greatest comedy shows I’ve come across. Nothing Pat ever did on compound was anywhere near as good, in my opinion. And Garrett was one of the few people I actually missed after cancelling my compound sub years ago. Glad to see all of you guys are now free of that weird comedy/political echo chamber. Welcome back to reality.
I suspected things where not going very well for the network. I have no idea what seemed to happen but I suspect it had to do with Geno yelling the n word non stop for a few year. When Anthony went to rehab, you guys were able to have a different famous person cover Anthony's spot. When Anthony got sick, no one was willing to come on the show and help out. I met you Garret twice. I saw a Anthony and Artie show and I met you again when I saw a In Hot Water show when Aaron was there. Good luck If you can keep it going I will follow.
Weird that you think Geno had that much power. It's been stated due to behind the scenes server provider changes that they at one-point lost half of the subscriber base and couldn't recover. Honestly they should have sued whatever company did that. Also there was just ZERO promotion the past couple years. Geno got booted from being a guest on any relevant podcast and Anthony was lazy. G and S never did promotion. So basically how can the channel grow when they don't tell new people
Anthony's show also sucked the past few years. Same 5 topics constantly. Same complaints constantly. It was like Geno with covid but blacks instead. It stopped being a funny show around Covid. Landau had to leave because of it.
@@DerekOfRivia I agree with you, Anthony has been mailing it in for years. Aaron leaving was a huge blow to the network. The Pat Dixon incident did not help slow down the slide either. There was a time I watched every minute of the network. I Loved East Side Dave, Loved In Hot Water, Loved NYC Crime Report, Loved Taleb Starks, and Loved Artie the day a week he was able to make it to work.
Compare Shane Gillis from back when he was on compound media, to now……. Clearly TH-cam is the place to be. And you can always use that presence to entice people over to paid content elsewhere.
Landau ruined the show. They recovered but then Geno ruined his and Aaron's show. The skanks leaving and Gavin leaving made it hard to make money and draw subscribers. Everyone wants their own "network." It's just like what happened to cable. Pat should have been kept and Geno should have been tossed. His nonstop hollering is unbearable and he will continue to ruin anything he touches. TBD was the best show on and "trump" was second. Pat is legit and so is Garrett. Geno is poison and somehow Anthony still keeps him along like an alcoholic brother. Oh well. There's nothing left to watch now besides Pat on Rumble. Not gonna pay Gavin to preach about having kids and just "doing the work" and shit nobody cares about like punk "music." Sadly, all this is still ten time better than anything Opie has ever said or done in his life.

Geno is absolute cancer. Compound could have thrived without that elephant sized testicular polyp in the room.
Dumping nearly a million bucks into Artie didn't help either. I think Cumia gave him $900,000 to never show up.
