Brilliant video man! It stopped those destructive little squirrel bastards. They're all cute on those TH-cam video, but in reality, they're a menace. This video got them to stop chewing up my internet cable.
I played this on a speaker in my backyard, ten minutes later I had every species of bird in the general area in my back yard bound together by what I can only imagine is an ancient avian blood oath, in defense mode. I went from a few bird chirps to quite literally ALL the bird chirps. Someone please help me I’m worse off now then when I started
It’s not working for me. They are (every morning) pecking and shitting on our cars! I’m at my wits end. I’ve tried it all. Any tips welcome. I’ve tried all the obvious ones. I have netting around my entire car and they still sit on it and peck through it. Snakes. Owls. Aluminum streamers. And now the bird sounds are not phasing them.

i love how people in the comments are listing off the reasons why they’re playing this video-i’m listening to this for research/reference because i’m a music major who’s currently writing a song about the time when i was in high school and a hawk (which was coincidentally my high school’s mascot) took down a crow in the middle of the quad and started eating it one day when we were between classes, and i need to do an impression of a hawk screech during the chorus of my song.
I saw something very strange last Monday concerning a hawk. I was going down a rural highway to an appt and had no time to watch this hawk acting strange in the middle of the opposite lane. It was standing there pecking at a dead armadillo. Odd, in all my years, I had never seen a hawk on the road eating carrion. When I came back by a couple hours later, some jerk had ran over it, and that just blew my mind. Why would it just stand there and let that happen? I had never seen a hawk in such a scenario. They are smart enough to not just stand there, but it had stood there watching me go by, though. Its feathers had looked faded like maybe it was old so maybe that was why. It was sad and odd.
This recording does work. I put it on high and set it on a table, and the Starlings that are bothering our bluebirds, trying to eat their chicks, fly off.
