Hey Warren, yes there is! I’m hoping and praying CIG doesn’t nerf this money farm any time soon. I’m fairly new to the game so panel scraping is my strongest leg to stand on.
I didn't knew about the panels near Grim Hex, and now I wonder if it's more interesting than the salvage contract. Salvage contracts have pay fee, but no time require to find a ship to scrap, but depending where you are you have to go down to a main city wich is a pain. Panels have no pay fee, maybe more time to find some, I don't know how fast you fill up, and also grim hex is a great spot because not a planet but also maybe pirate. All of that is very true. I fill up in about 25 - 35 minutes. It all depends on how quickly I can find the number of panels. This includes having my cargo bay full AND the hopper. Another consideration is that commodities sell for less in GH vs a TDD on a planet, BUT you can sell much much quicker because the tav back time to GH is 2 minutes at max.
Yes tell everyone about that so everyone goes there I actually found that the other side of the ring has more panel I been finding the in the range of 12-16 at a time in my reclaimer
