We enjoyed it it was a nice surprise that waterfall was gorgeous 😁 we didn't get to spend too much time at the Falls just because an entire bus load of college students were standing in front of it right after we got there lol Maybe next time I'll try to get there earlier! Appreciate you watching 😀
I wish we were able to actually see the others not much water flow apparently you have to go in the right season or right after a really good rain to see them. At least we know now so the next time we go we can check it out! Hope you get to see it when it's flowing pretty well if you ever go back.
We were there in the dry season hopefully one day go back whenever it's running really good! It was beautiful either way cuz I could tell how much potential it has with a lot more water 😁 No just some good old fresh water snails 😂 Have you ever been to the east coast to chase waterfalls?
Yeah this one's definitely worth checking out! You can also bring all your pets in this area. Lots of trails so you can extend your hike as well. Thanks for checking out the video!
beautiful place, I remember going there earlier this year, yes, that one was dried up too when I went. Still, a great place to explore. Machine falls is so unique. Small moments are indeed big moments out in nature. Nice stream exploration too. Merry Christmas.
Definitely glad we made the trip to go visit machine Falls it was beautiful! Hopefully if we're in the area one day all the water flows are flowing good and we can check it out again. Merry Christmas appreciate you watching 😀🎄
Several beautiful waterfalls in that area! Definitely got to check it out we will be releasing a few more videos we made in that area starting Thursday. Thank you for watching and commenting 😀
Just a little help, that falls is very small in flow so it does dry up often... Short Springs is located in Tullahoma which is pronounced Tell-a-home-a. When machine falls is really flowing it's a sight to behold!
Hopefully if we're ever back in that area The Falls are really overflowing 😀 we do a good job of butchering all the names wherever we go 😂 I'll try to remember that next time we're there. Machine Falls is definitely one of those underrated waterfalls in my opinion. I haven't heard much about it until we started doing some research knew I had to see it!
Rachel is brave eating things on the trail. I would end up poisoning myself if I tried that. Starting to get cold here so its cold to see you guys wandering around when it was warmer. Good to see Nick make a cameo. Not much of these views in IL.
One acorn tasting it isn't going to hurt you. It just has a bunch of tannins in it which are really bitter and it's high in acid you wouldn't want to eat it when it's raw like that lol you can boil them down several times once the water goes clear then you can roast them and eat them. Next time I go to that trail you better believe I'm swimming 😂
Adams Falls is often dry. However, there is another smaller waterfall right there (that isn't named as far as I know). That's what you heard when you were standing there looking at the dry Adams Falls. If you had gone over and walked to the edge of the dry Adams Falls, you would have seen the water gushing out of the rocks right below where you were standing on the trail. It's not super impressive, but it's still pretty neat (coming right out of the cliff wall and all). Otherwise, great video as always! 👍
I knew I heard something running lol I thought it was Adam's Falls where I was looking and I just couldn't see the water. Crazy how a few steps can change the perspective so much 😂 Thanks for clearing that up for me! Appreciate you watching hope you have a great Christmas ⛄

Beautiful ❤️ Thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks 😁
This is an awesome trail, so pretty with the sun filtering through the trees. Lovely river with falls. Nice hike !

@@NickandRachel Haha I’ve run into herds of tourists myself on occasion! Always at the wrong time !
Yeah it's hard to get to every waterfall early whenever you plan multiple in one day lol
I was in that park and only knew about 2 of the falls.
Definitely a thumbs up 👍

Machine Falls is stunning. I thought those little snails were leeches at first and wondering why you’d want to swim with them. Lol.

@@NickandRachel we have been trying to find shorter hikes that our dog can go. This would be perfect!

@@NickandRachel Merry Christmas to y'all too! 🎄🎁
Will these falls be running late May?
We were there sometime last fall. The area has a tendency to dry up just make sure it's been raining before you go.
