Kayla glad to see you again. When I had s car I would love going thrifting and garage saling. Now I am 75, live in someone's back room, don't get to do much of anything anymore. The thrill of getting a great deal at an estate sale is unmatched. I recently spent $75 at an estate sale over the course of 2 days (the fist and last days) and I doubled my investment on ONE item.
Yes girl, so excited for Spring garage sales starting. It's been in the 80's here in Southeast Texas and the sales have already started. The community wide sales are up and running. I prefer garage sales for sourcing overall. Glad you found your goodies. That silverware is beautiful and how lucky you got it girl. It's fun finding the garage sales by accident. Gotta love 'em. I love ALL your videos and watch them ALL. You're amazing girl and are in my prayers hun.
First of all congratulations on the plaque! Been watching you since the start and love seeing all you do. You are a natural at this and presenting to us as if we are there. Just love you!!!! Keep going! And thanks for all you do! Greetings from your Irish fan in the uk!
So tickled to see you get that flatware!! I've been watching for quite awhile & love to see your finds. I'm still using my Springtime flatware I got when I married in 1978. Would you believe, it was available at a supermarket, different pieces available to purchase each week based on how much you spent on groceries if I remember correctly. I recruited friends & family members to help build my set. Disappointingly, I never got any accessory pieces, so I'll be watching when you list this. 😍 I am recently retired, have built up some modest inventory & hope to get started soon but a little nervous. Your sweet manner & know-how help me keep that dream alive & inch forward day by day. I hope everything is going well with you as you deal with some life challenges. Oh, and girl - keep a coat in the car. 🤗Hugs to you & yours.

I went to the thrift stores on monday and went back the next day since I was picking up an item off facebook and the Tuesday trip was better. It seems it doesn't matter how much you go if they are always putting things out.

I believe I have some Christmas cassettes if you want one. I don’t have anything to play them on. I find a lot of things at the Goodwill in Brannon but not much at the one in Nicholasville. Monday is a good day at the Goodwill in Brannon. They are putting out new stuff all the day on Monday. A friend of mine, who use to work for Goodwill, said Monday and Tuesday is the best days to shop because they have stuff from the weekend.
I really enjoy your videos alot better than others because you are "real"! I'm interested in selling on eBay and you do what I'd do to find items to sell. My wife and I do thrift shop and garage sale picking all the time especially during better weather. Even when we go on vacation, we have a tendency to do picking work. It is the best hobby because it actually makes us money. That vintage bowl set @ 10:42, would definitely been picked up - if it was reasonably priced. Funny thing is my wife and I have completely different perspectives when looking at the items at sales. There have been many times, I see something she overlooked or likewise, something I would have skipped and she grabs. With the two of us, it also makes it easer to tag team the item research discreetly while shopping so we don't make un-educated purchases.
Hi I just started picking little things. But my issue is that I don’t know how to look up their value. I believe I heard Kayla and Matt talk about E Bay and other sites. Do you. Know of any other free places to look things up? I would appreciate any advice or help you could offer me. I am not able to work anymore so I am trying to make a little money. Kayla said she didn’t pick the vintage bowl set up due to scratches. Even when purchasing a vintage kitchen item, customers still expect the item to be scratch free to justify the price.
You’ll be aight! You’re making money! I never find the good stuff like you! Although I broke down and went to goodwill. It was red tag 50% off. A Kirby fell into my cart w all the goodies for $30. Marked down from 58.95. Comps are about 199. Yay me.
