Stephanie i missed your videos, i stopped getting notification for your videos, i am catching up now. Love your videos you are such a fresh of breath. I hope you have a baby boy this time, because you already have 3 girls, all it matters as long as its healthy baby. God Bless you!
Apples cut in half cored with a tsp of peanut butter in the hole . Growing up our after school snacks were always apples or home baked whole wheat bread spread with peanut butter and honey 🍯
High protein helped me so much in my last pregnancy (#6). Trim healthy mama recipes are really helpful. Also I do a smoothie with collagen and raw eggs ( we have our own chickens so I trust the source, kefir, stevia and berries) it’s tasted so good to me first thing! Magnesium spray on the skin helps a ton too!
That’s what I was going to say! We use 1 C oats, 1 tsp cinnamon, 7-9 dates, 3T peanut butter, splash of maple syrup, a tsp of chia, flaxseed, and hemp hearts. Blend all in a food processor and roll into balls. So good!
Hi Steph, just today I was reading a recipe for scones and it instructed to cut them but not separate them. Form the dough on the baking pan, cut them and leave them in the round shape together then bake. Love your videos! ~Angel
When in a pinch I usually butter a pan, pour in straight sourdough starter, top with some kind of fruit (slices of apples, peach, banana, blueberry or whatever), if you want you can dust a little sugar on the top or drizzle with maple syrup. Flip it and let it caramelise. The freshest the starter the more cakey it will become, if it's an older starter then it will be chewier. It does have a little sugar but I feel like it's still pretty healthy because there really isn't too that much.
Have you ever considered milling your own wheat to make your sourdough scones? They are absolutely amazing with freshly ground wheat, and so much healthier than store-bought flour.
I like to make a big pot of soup (made with bone broth and meat) at the beginning of the week for our lunches. Organic string cheese and grapes are easy and can be munched on while working on school. We buy raw milk so they can have a glass of that to tide them over until the next meal also. I try to give the kids decent amount of protein at breakfast to help with hunger too! ~Janelle
As far as snack tips: Peanut or Almond butter with apples or celery. Vanilla yogurt. Lots of water. I also avoided sugary drinks including fruit juices. I was so sick during my pregnancy with my twins. I couldn't stomach much, but nut butters helped so much...even if just a small spoonful at a time. Sending well wishes your way. 😊
I recently stumbled upon your channel and I’m OBSESSED! 😍 I’ve binge watched all the video and impatiently waiting for new ones to come 🙈 Love your lifestyle and your cute family ❤ you are so inspiring! You deserve a lot more followers hope your channels grows big. Keep up the good work ❤
I’m so glad I found this video! I have had HG and a hiatal hernia for my last three pregnancies. It’s miserable and I lose between 20-30 lbs with each. I’ve had to go to the hospital to get hydrated and nourished and I’ve had to take medication to try to help. I don’t think it made much of a difference. I hope to have more children but I’m worried that being so sick will eventually hurt the babies as well as me. So far they’re all beautiful little humans and I want to be able to properly nourish any others I’m able to have. I struggle to keep anything down but I’ve been told if my body is nourished before I conceive perhaps I’ll handle pregnancy better. So I want to focus on a high protein diet with vitamin b…I’ll talk to my doctor first… before I hope to conceive. Perhaps that will help the next pregnancy.
I have suffered from HG (like your last pregnany). I wish I could not throw up, but I could not NOT throw everything (even water) up. So no pills, just hospital for water direct into my Body in a drop every other day and then Some medication that would melt in the mouth, so I didn’t throw it up. My lasted until the end of my Third trimester 🥴 so.. i totally get your prayers for no sickness and PTSD. I could barely Walk to the bathroom back then.. and am so afraid of pregnancy and praying too that my next in some years hopefully will be at least “normal” 🙏🙏🙏🙏😅💕 I’m therefore so happy to see you feeling so much better this time around! It brings me some hope 😆
I really noticed how important protein is with my second pregnancy… it made morning sickness much more bearable… when I start feeling nauseous I now gravitate to a protein snack because it truly has made a big difference for me 🙌
Glad you’re almost out of the morning sickness - thank you for extra protein tip. I’ll be sure to try. I so respect your videos and your opinion- I’d love more information about homeschooling. It’s been hard to get that started and become a routine for our oldest because he just wants to play outside with his little brothers.
I loveeeee curry chicken salad!!!! Or any chicken salad really. Make a big batch & it’s so easy to whip together quick lunches. For snacks, roasted chickpeas, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal banana muffins, nuts & fruit, sourdough banana bread w/ butter
Yes! Eating protein changed my morning sickness . In my first trimester I tried very hard to get protein in every meal and snack. Even if I wasn't hungry 😊. Waiting to eat till I was hungry caused my nausea to become very bad.
You're a genius, I never thought of making chocolate chips in the mixer like that! Definitely doing that from now on so thank you. Edited to say tuna empanadas are nice as a snack and ads extra protein as well. Almost never make them but its on my to do list today so it was already on my mind.
So thankful for how much better you are as well !! I had those same thoughts as your mother, when you all were visiting her !🥰💝...pregnancy's can be so difficult but now I am old, I never think about that part of the process of being so RICHLY BLESSED with our Eight Blessings. I used high protein as well during pregnancy and I did a candida cleansing after I finished nursing before conceiving again and that was my healthiest and nausea free pregnancy 😲🤩...another gift to my body was to use a slendertone belt to heal my diastasis recti
What are you using for your homeschool this year? Did you make a curriculum video? I think I might’ve missed that. I’m glad the protein is working out great for the morning sickness ❤
I have similar advice for morning sicknesses, I've completely cut of coffee, sugar and gluten for health reasons but surprisingly my morning sickness and tiredness also improved so much.. So definetly diet is really important, eating junk food and sugary food, baked goods in 1st trimester is such bad way to start pregnancy especially if your so sick all the time this food won't help at all👍🤗
I make those scones all the time!! I make two rounds and make them mini scones, perfect size for kids and me too, but sometimes I need two because they're so good!! All of Amy's (little spoon farm) recipies are great!! This was a great video too! Thanks for sharing! So glad you're off to a good school year, and pregnancy too!
I also had HG with my son (and dealt with the PTSD afterwards). I will say that when it comes to HG, you don't actually get that relief after throwing up like you do with a regular stomach bug. We are about to start IVF to get pregnant with our second, so I'm terrified, of course. 😅
I have found your videos so unbelievably encouraging and inspiring! I just had my son unmedicated in March (he was over 10 pounds). He is now 6 months old and I was just curious, did you do any type of “sleep training” with your children to get them to sleep on their own? I’m considering something gentle with my son and curious what you did!
Thank you so much! We did not sleep train our kids 😊 I don’t think there’s anything wrong with gentle sleep training, but personally I’ve loved just having them close!
I had the same type of morning sickness with both of my children. I’d even pass out. But way back then they didn’t think anything about dehydration which now we have known to be serious or can be and with the hernia and reflux the best options I’m sure you know from avy is no eating past 6 pm no acidic foods or beverages. Elevate the head of bed a little and limit fatty greasy foods. That seems to lay some ground work down. Probably way more information out there nowadays. Anyway best of health to you and hoping you have a great school year with the kiddos.
Hi Steph, love the channel, you give good outfit inspiration and baking & cooking inspo. Did you get that jacket on Amazon, or could you leave a link for it. Thanks and God bless!
I would have cut the scone dough into two rounds or used a biscuit cutter which is more traditional. At least that way the scones will not be so giant and probably cook better.
Just the thought of eggs made me so physically ill, just watching someone eat them in any form would make me dry heave so I tried eating lots of cottage cheese and then I threw it up and anything milk based made me sick for the last month and a half of my first trimester. Definitely want to try to push through next time, but even sucking on ice to get water slowly made me throw up 😭 hopefully in a few weeks as I start my second I'll be able to add eggs back in, they're starting to almost sound good again lol
Have you ever heard of ants on a log! It’s an oldie but healthy. It’s chunks off celery put peanut butter on celery and then top With a line of raisins’. They are cute.
I can't believe that you don't have million subscribers. I love your channel. God bless you and your beautiful family! Greetings from Greece ❤

We love energy bites! They are wonderful combination of peanut butter, oats, raisins, chocolate chips, vanilla, and flaxseed.

@@calliebolstad1345 thank you, mama, I’m going to enjoy making these for my littles!
Sounds delicious 🤤

You could try buckwheat baked goods! They’re not bad, especially if you use half buckwheat and half ap or einkorn flour!
You are just amazing!! I am just amazed. I will pick my jaw up off the ground soon!

Is it the Good and the beautiful mammal unit with the student journal?
Thank you for showing you making the scones 😍 I’ve been intimidated by them but that actually looks sooo easy
We love making the Little Spoon Farm sourdough scone recipe! So yummy!

What do you do with your youngest while you homeschool the older kids? Trying to figure that out myself.

I love how your kids raise their hands to answer!! I need to work on that one!! 😊
Also 16 weeks! Glad you are feeling better. I agree high protein is a BIG help. Do you have an abdominal wall hernia that’s coming back?
HAPPY Monday Steph, family, and fur babies. Looks delish. just too precious how the babies know what to do on the farm. LOVE THE PICTURES. STTB
So glad you are feeling better this pregnancy❤

Stephanie can you share your ketchup recipe ? ;).
Loveeee following your pregnancy journey so far. You’re such an amazing mama! 💕
You are so kind ❤ thank you!
Great video!, thank you
Love your sweater!, can you put link for it
Thanks
I only allow my kids to have fruit for snacks. They wash and cut them. If they're still hungry they can have it w/Greek yogurt (protein).
Agree on protein for morning sickness...never wait until your too hungry to supply more
Also, homemade applesauce with cinnamon is a nice filling snack or meal addition.
Yum 🤤
I just made those same scones last week and they were so yummy!
That’s so fun 😊
We like no bake date-based berry oat cobbler and carrot 'breakfast' cookies for healthier snacks.

I take B complex with my breakfast and my afternoon nauseous feeling is gone!
Lovely.
Beautiful Coats
Thank you 🥰
Just the thought of eggs made me so physically ill, just watching someone eat them in any form would make me dry heave so I tried eating lots of cottage cheese and then I threw it up and anything milk based made me sick for the last month and a half of my first trimester. Ahh yes, we used to do that when I was a kid 😊
Good mom 😊
Hi there. I'm not pregnant but I'm sick to my stomach any ideas
Добрый день! Вы готовите много разной выпечки, но я не вижу на Вашем столе рыбу! 🐟
