As a proper Liverpool supporter, I can confirm that City are so boring to watch. Direct, high-octane fast-paced football is entertaining to me. City's methodical tapping the ball sideways and backwards for 90 minutes style is so dull it's unbelievable.
Why do talkSPORT give Jennings such prominence? Who wants to listen to his rubbish for several hours? Absolutely spot on, I don’t think pep’s football has ever been entertaining…. I literally just switch of. His football isn’t about attack it’s all about a defensive approach, keep the ball so your appointment can’t have it, the only reason they score goals is because have the best players and he always has had them… he couldn’t do it at Villa. Athletes first footballers second under pep, he takes the soul out of players and gets them playing robotic football…. Another myth is him improving players, he just goes through that many some of them will play good.

It's good to watch if you have Man City's calibre of players on your hands who can carry out the instructions & tactics. What is boring is watching your very own league one team (Bolton) trying to copy it, passing around the back all game with no intensity, no creativity, no bravery to progress the ball & ending up losing from a soft set piece goal. Pep is fantastic but most managers trying to play the same way in the EFL who are more concerned about controlling the game rather than actually creating chances make a lot of the matches pretty dull & puts the fans in the stands to sleep. Would rather watch a team with pacey, exciting wingers running at defenders, full backs overlapping & getting shots off on goal.
For all the people who think Peps football is boring, would you have him as your club’s manager bc it would likely mean winning trophies?

It’s not peps fault but it is true. His job is to win football games. He found the best way which is bore the other team to death and just keep them running after a ball. As a Ipswich fan I always still watched the Prem, during our poor years but mostly the Liverpool type or mid table teams with some jeopardy. I couldn’t care less about a machine doing the same thing over and over again. I miss a good Alan sheared header and wingers beating the fullbacks. I don’t turn it on for Man City. But it’s their job to win for the money and their own fans, not to entertain the neutral like me.

I feel asleep watching his Barcelona side many times even though I still say there are the greatest side ever to step on a football pitch. But my favourite team of all time is United’s 1999 team despite their 2008 side being even better. That 1999 team was special not only because they had strong opposition at home and abroad but they were such an entertaining side that lived on the edge.
United parked the bus with 26% possession in the FA Cup final and still their supporters acted like it was a brilliant performance. They've lost all credibility to criticize another team's style of play.
